Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 269: Chapter 268:”I am blood.”

I wasn’t interested in any form of conversation with demons, atleast that was until I heard the words of the demon before me.

”You.... How do you know that?” I asked as my face went cold.

”Father... impossible! There’s no way he can be the child of that man!!” Even the younger demon seemed shocked at the reveal.

”How could I possibly know such a thing indeed, I wonder.” The demon smiled.

”Do not play with me you wretched creature, how do you know that name?”

”The Vanquisher? Oh, I don’t think there’s anyone on terra worth their salt, that doesn’t know that name young human.”

”That is not what I meant.”

”Oh? And what did you mean? I seem to be having some trouble understanding you little human, hahahahahaha..” the demon laughed, seemingly finding something funny, but I wasn’t in the mood for jokes.

I’d just heard a demon address me by my father’s title.

Not many even new I was my father’s son outside those close to me, yet now, I was hearing such a form of address from the mouth of a demon.

I had Been wondering why every demon I met was suddenly addressing me as ”Dante von Draken” and not ”Draven”, now, I was hearing a demon address me particularly by my father’s title?

”You will tell me what you know, demon, or I shall force the words from your cold, broken body.” Yea, I was just about done playing nice.

”Hmmm? Little human, I think you might be getting things confused.” The demon’s face immediately went cold as a murderous aura filled the entire room, his repressed aura exploding outwards as the entire throne room,

BOOOOOOOOMMM

Exploded into debris and rubble.

”Don’t get it twisted little human, I merely entertain your folly for my king’s sake, don’t mistake my kindness for folly.” The demon’s grating voice sounded through the dust cloud.

Swooosh!!

I flapped my wings once, the entire area being cleared of dust instantly.

”I assume that means you won’t be telling me what I want to know then?” I placed Khalifa down, making sure she was okay before I turned towards the demon.

”If you want answers, you’re free to accompany me on a little visit, I’m sure my king will be delighted to see you.” The demon smiled, his fangs poking out his mouth.

His form had changed, gone was the refined man from before, in his presence, a 12-foot titan of muscles so dense they twitched violently, thick veins bulging beneath the skin, four crimson red horns piercing through its forehead, their tips glinting a metallic hue.

Behind him, two fleshy bat wings, each over 10-feet wide, spread menacingly, their tips sharp as blades, a thin spade tipped tail swaying behind him.

The aura leaking out of him was by far the most powerful thing I’d ever felt, of course, not counting the old man and aunt v.

”Alright. Since you wish to do this the hard way, then I shall comply, but first,”

”Zero distance strike..” I swiped my arm through the empty air.

...

...

”Urk.. fa.. father...” the choking cries of the demon’s son sounded out as he clenched his neck with both hands.

”NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!” I could see the demon’s eyes shrink into pin pricks as he turned swiftly, but,

”You’re too late..” I thrust my arm into empty air, my hand manifesting right behind the choking demon heir.

”DON’T YOU DARE!!!!!!”

RIPPPPPPPP!!!!

Paying no heed to the demon’s words, I ripped the head off the dying heir, my arm and the head both vanishing into empty space.

”There. Mission accomplished.” I passed the severed head to the still shocked Khalifa.

”What? I promised to help you complete this mission, and now it’s done, you should be happy.”

”D...”

”Not now, Khali, I’ve got a very furious demon to deal with.”

”YOU DRAKEN SCUMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!”

Booooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!

The demon’s roar sent the entire area into chaos, the earth imploded as furious winds were stirred up, cutting through everything.

POOF!

A true clone materialized right beside me.

”Protect her.”

”Heh! You got it, go kick his ass.”

”Hmm...”

BOOOOOOOOM!

I launched forward, my figure rushing to meet the furious demon head on.

CRACK! BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!

The moment our fists met, the air cracked, the earth fissuring for miles on end as the demon arm was instantly annihilated, his form being sent flying, crashing though multiple structures.

Once something as ridiculous as negation, was out of the picture, In a contest of strength, I was confident enough against anyone that wasn’t named Valen Wildeheart.

”Demon. I hope you’re ready to face the consequences of your choices.”

”FILHTY HUMAN!!!!!!!!! DIEEEEEE!!!!” The furious roar of the enraged demon was all the reply i received.

BOOOOM!!!!

A flaming fist tore through the sky, aimed straight for my head.

Swerve.

I moved, head tilting, and then,

BOOM!!

A solid fist connected with the demons midsection, sending it flying backwards,

Step!

Space folded as I appeared right behind the demon’s flying figure, the atmosphere folding inwards as I clenched my fists,

BOOOOOM!!!!

Letting loose another furious blow that cleanly severed the demon’s spine.

”Oh, we’re not done yet, demon, you’ll tell me all you know about father, even if I have to drag the words out of your mouth myself.”

Another step.

BANG!!

A solid kick connected with the demons skull, two horns being snapped off.

BANG!!

An elbow to the jaw sent the lower half of the demon’s face flying, leaving him a jawless mess.

”Condense....” The space around my fist twisted and churned as the full weight of the atmosphere around us gathered around my arm,

”ROOOOOOARRRRRRRR!!!!!!!” The Duke roared wildly, his body healing up in astonishing speed,

”YOU WILL PAY FOR MY SON WITH YOUR LIFE!!!!”

”I think not...”

Saying so, I instantly released the punch I’d been holding,

THOOOM.... Space cracked as my fist ignored whatever concept of distance existed between it at the body of the demon.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

The punch connected, and the result was as expected, the demon’s entire body instantly evaporated into a blood mist.

I breathed out, focus steady, I wasn’t about to let my guard down, previous confrontations had shown clearly that these blood demons were quite tenacious.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

And true to form, the scattered blood regathered, twisting and churning until the form of the demon Duke reappered, and this time, there were two of them.

Unlike what I was expecting, the demon didn’t attack right away, he merely stared at me, eyes having turned extremely cold and unfeeling.

”I understand it now.”

I stayed silent, readying myself.

”The king said I shouldn’t underestimate someone with that man’s blood running through his veins, and it seems his intuition, like always, was right once more.”

”To be capable enough of killing my own son before my very eyes, you are indeed worthy of your father’s name.”

His aura suddenly deepened.

”But. Little human, if you think that’s all you’ll need to leave here alive, then you’re sorely mistaken.”

”For killing my son, you shall pay with your own life.”

”Allow me to show you the true horrors of someone at the Law integration stages of power...”

The world suddenly stilled as both figures of the demon Duke opened their mouths simultaneously..

””Concept...””

A beat passed and then..

””I am blood..””

The world turned crimson...
