Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 132: Chapter 131:Caelum Von Draken

The moment I laid my eyes on him, there was only one thought in my head..

”You’re dead..” yet before I could act on that violent thought..

Cara pulled me back, I turned, my blank gaze inquisitive..

She saw my expression that clearly asked ”why?” And she shook her head softly, mouthing ”let me handle it”..

I held her gaze for a long minute, before inevitably letting myself be pulled back..

She was my woman, not my property, if she wished to handle her problems, I’ll just let her, after all, I knew Cara and ”weak” wasn’t an adjective I’d use to describe her.. EVER!

”Seems you made my man a bit upset, I wonder what you’re going to do now... fufufufu”...

Her beautiful laughter wasn’t easing my irritation, not this time..

”Now, this is normally where I sit back and let D, handle the dirty work, since he likes bashing faces in, but, I believe I should be the one to handle it this time, after all” the moment she got here, all her teasing immediately vanished, a cold murderous aura drifting out of her body, I could see the air literally freezing solid as her eyes turned cold and lifeless, yes, that was my Cara in her murder mode..

”So fucking hot!!”

”After all, your little fantasies almost got D to hate me for good” she concluded what she had been saying...

The young man, Apollo, she’d called him, the one whose deluded fantasies had made me feel betrayed by Cara, spared Cara a look, his gaze finally turning towards me..

”You must be Dante Draven, the little swine that dared crave after what’s mine..” something about his arrogant voice and that condescending gaze made me want to tear his eyes out, yet before I could act on it once more...

Swooooshhhhh!!!!!!

A freezing ice lance had already manifested before the youth, mere inches from impaling his eyes before being turned to snowy ash..

”Hmm.. to use the resources I provided, awaken your bloodline fully, then turn against me, is this what the prestigious Morningstar bloodline teaches their descendants? Is this how you treat one’s sincerity?” The young man’s attention returned to Cara, his voice like that of an elder chastising a child..

”Oho? Sincerity? Is that what we’re calling it now? Trying to force me into a sham marriage and expecting me to be grateful? Well then, why don’t I show you just how grateful I am? I officially challenge you for your elite status” Cara smiled coldly as she regarded the young man with dead eyes..

The young man looked surprised, his indifferent facade finally cracking as what should’ve been shock appeared on his face..

”You would dare challenge me?” His voice sounded skeptical, almost as if he couldn’t believe Cara would dare challenge him..

”I think it’s time I knocked you off your high horse” she replied offhandedly..

”It seems a little power up has made you delusional, for you to actually believe you stand a chance against me” the young man returned to his indifferent expression soon enough..

”As for you..” he turned towards me once more, ”once I’m done embarrassing this filthy whore, I’ll make sure you explain properly how it is you can use the abilities of my bloodline, those aren’t things a swine like you should stain”. Okay, it was getting really, REALLY DIFFICULT to stay my hand out of respect for Cara..

This filthy mouthed arrogant prick had only ever spoken degrading words and if it were any other day, I’d have already had his face planted beneath my boots, but, ”don’t worry D, I’ll make sure I wipe that smug look off his face, the more he postures now, the more satisfying it’ll be when I put him down, you trust me don’t you?” At Cara’s question, I merely wrapped my hands around her waist, pulling her body flush against mine, my eyes leaving the annoying face of the fool before me, as I placed a tender and loving kiss ontop of her head..

The temperature rose a few degrees, seemed that got the young man riled up, good..

”If I didn’t trust you, my love, then this fool would’ve already been put down like the mad dog that he was, wouldn’t he?” I replied to her..

”Fufufu.. thank you my love” her coy reply made the temperature rise even further..

I looked up slowly, my eyes meeting those of the young man..

Golden eyes meeting Golden eyes..

The tension in the air was palpable..

The stare down lasted a few seconds before the young man turned around silently, his footsteps sounding out as he walked away..

No sooner had he walked away that another intruder graced my presence..

This one being the source of the second heavy killing intent I’d felt earlier, the first needed no more mentions, it was obviously Apollo that had just left..

”Man, can’t catch a fucking break” I couldn’t help grumbling in annoyance..

”Hehehe.. seems you’re quite popular with the elite class, for two of them to have an issue with you, phewww~~” Cara whistled as she mocked my dilemma..

”And whose fault is it that one of them looked like he wanted to annihilate my entire family for a crime I didn’t even commit?” I smacked her ass gently as I retorted..

”Owww.. hey, you knew what you were signing up for when you decided to make this young lady your woman, what’d you expect? That you’d just get to keep me all to yourself without others interfering? Humph” she pouted, All her earlier coldness vanishing like smoke..

”Actually, yes, that’s exactly what I expected, not this cliched bullshit of fighting off suitors left and right” I grumbled once again...

”Well too bad...let’s just hope this guy isn’t going to be on about a woman, cause I don’t seem to know this one” she commented lightly as she looked up, her eyes landing on the approaching blue haired youth..

”Good, at least I’ll be spared another clash of the suitors nonsense..” is what I said..

Yet when the new intruder finally reached us, his arrogant introduction of himself finally registering in my head, a dreadful unease started curling up my gut..

”Ahhh... you must that wretched woman’s new pet project huh?” The goon said arrogantly, no surprise there..

”Other than your looks, I don’t see anything special about you” the bitterness in his voice was clear for all to hear..

”Yea, you should tell that to you little friend there, she’s about to drool up a pool of saliva on the floor” I smirked softly as I pointed my chin at the young man’s partner...

He turned and then...

”Bitch!!!!!”

Slap!!!!!

A resounding slap landed right on the dazed young woman as she was sent crashing to the floor, her decent face bearing a nasty bruise..

”You’ll pay for that” the young man turned to me with an angry expression..

”Talk about being stuck up, it’s not my fault your partner knows to appreciate the good stuff” I was hellbent on stuffing his inferiority in his face..

”Heh.. I can’t say I’m surprised, you’re as foul as that wretched aunt of mine, but don’t worry, cousin, I Caelum Von Draken, will be the big guy here and help her discipline you”..
