Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 102: Chapter 101:Entertain Me!!

A/n: what better way to celebrate reaching 100 Chapters than just blazing right past it? Eyy?

Let’s go!!...

[Ding]

[Talent evolved successfully...]

”Come on...come on...”

[DING]

There it was.. just the tone of the chime already answered my worries, an excited grin split my face...

”Lay it on me baby!!”

[You received the talent: ...

There it was..

Another one..

Another flipping imperial rank power..

I was beyond excited, because if was anything to go by, then I was probably in for another delectable treat..

So, without wasting anymore time, I immediately willed open the talent’s description..

**********

:-

Description:- An elevated form of Ashen Sovereign Mandate enhanced by , allowing the user’s flame authority to surpass conventional output limits and scale dynamically during combat.

This evolution emphasizes progressive dominance, where power, efficiency, and control continuously refine beyond their initial state without immediate instability.

[Passive Effects:-]

• Sovereign Pyre: Unbound:-

-Removes output ceilings on flame generation and control..

-Flame intensity and scale increase gradually with sustained usage..

-External fire domination and assimilation efficiency improved...

• Judgment of Ash: Ascended:-

-Lethality scaling becomes adaptive in real-time..

-Flames adjust output based on target durability and resistance..

-Reduced energy wastage against weaker targets, increased pressure on stronger ones..

• Ashen Assimilation: Refined Cycle:-

-Higher conversion efficiency from ash to usable energy..

-Trait fragments last longer and integrate more smoothly..

-Excess energy is stored rather than lost..

• Emperor’s Flame Body: Reinforced:-

-Improved damage-to-energy conversion ratio..

-Enhanced durability and regeneration under sustained combat..

-Stability increased under high-output conditions..

[Active Abilities]:-

• Sovereign Immolation: Continuous Burn:-

-Flame intensity increases the longer it remains active on a target..

-Harder to suppress over time..

-Scaling damage effect tied to duration..

• Ashen Dominion: Expanding Field:-

-Domain grows gradually with continued energy input..

-Suppression and burn effects intensify over time..

-Assimilation within the domain becomes more efficient

• Imperial Pyre Manifestation: Adaptive Output:-

-Constructs and attacks adjust density and power dynamically..

-Allows precision strikes or large-scale output without efficiency loss..

-Reduced strain when switching between attack types..

[Imperial State]:-

• Limit Ascendant State(Limited Duration):-

-Temporarily accelerates all scaling effects..

-Removes efficiency loss during high output..

-Increases assimilation rate and regeneration.

-Flame authority becomes highly responsive and near-instantaneous..

[Limitations]:-

-Scaling requires sustained engagement to reach peak output..

-Rapid forced escalation may strain the body despite improved stability...

-Efficiency drops if energy input and combat intensity fall sharply..

[Remarks]:-

This evolution focuses on controlled escalation and limit transcendence, allowing the user to grow stronger throughout battle without immediate loss of stability...

”Beautiful....”

The evolved, or more like upgraded version of the talent definitely scaled higher..

This was the first time the title had gotten involved in enhancing a talent and not just a single skill..

The title hadn’t overhauled the entire talent, not the way would’ve done..

Instead, it refined it, sharpened it and made it deadlier, more efficient and more sustainable...

Sovereign Spyre had the limits removed in how much flames I could generate and the amount of control I could exert over them..

My control and dominion over external flames being increased exponentially, to what levels, remained to be tested..

Judgement of ash turned from just scaling lethality, to scaling lethality adaptively, meaning the more resistant you are to flames, the more pressure you’ll be receiving..

Energy wastage effectively being cutoff when the opponent is determined to be weaker, whilst increasing significantly when the opponent was judged as stronger..

Ashen Assimilation was more simple, it’s conversion rate increased, the traits one received from assimilated foes lasting longer and now excess energy became stored rather than discharged..

Emperor’s Flame Body also receiving an overall improvement in its functionality..

The active abilities didn’t change much either..

Their effectiveness and efficiency had only received an upgrade that I was yet to test out, but considering the fact that it had the tag Imperial, I had no doubt it would be a sight to witness..

Yet, the reason for my excitement wasn’t even any of these..

It was the fact that this talent stacked beautifully with ..

Both powers made it so that, the moment I became engaged in battle, each second that elapses sees me growing stronger, faster, more lethal..

With the likes of Solar Scale Pressure building from one side and Ashen Sovereign mandate building from the other, I was about to become an absolute nightmare for anyone that dared engaged in a battle of attrition with me..

”Damn... and the day keeps getting better and better...” I whistled softly...

Now my mood was properly elated, and so, I continued on to finally get the notifications out of the way...

>

”Oh nice, that brings my total to about 25,000 free attributes..” the number was quite large..

I couldn’t help contemplating if it was worth it allocating them now, afterall, they weren’t doing much just sitting around. But on second thought, I decided to just let it stack, I wasn’t in need of higher attributes and the only attribute worth increasing right now, INTELLIGENCE, was a points vampire, with those 25,000 points merely equating 2,500INT, not necessarily a large boost...

”Alright then.. I guess it’s time for the main event..”

I’d already spent a sizeable amount of time integrating my abilities and whatnot..

It was finally time to put them to good use and so, feeling ready, I stood up, my bones making popping sounds as they protested the sudden movement after an entire hour of inactivity..

Steadying myself, I took one step forward, immediately vanishing from the spot...

...

When I reappeared, it was directly above the gathered crowd at the central region..

The first to notice my presence, were the two blonde youths that stood motionless like statues, they were the source of the powerful auras I’d been feeling all this while..

Their eyes snapped open, golden orbs of intense light that stared up at me with a predatory focus..

I grinned wildly..

I recognized that look..

It was the look of a predator sensing a worthy foe, the look one gave as a warning..

”Don’t do anything foolish!!” I could read the look in those eyes perfectly..

They seemed to have understood my intent the moment I appeared..

I grinned harder..

”Hahahaha... yes.. now this.. this will truly be fun” saying so, I pointed my finger downwards, a condensed ball of flames forming rapidly..

The heat spiked, the others finally noticing the abnormality of the situation...

Yet, it was too late for them to react..

”Catch...” I fired the beam downward, the tiny orb rapidly enlarging until in engulfed the entirety of the sky above them, when it landed

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!

It was with an explosion that rocked the entirety of the central region..

”Hahahahaha.... Come.. entertain me..” I didn’t bother waiting for the aftermath, I shot straight into the rising flame cloud, intent on getting my well deserved fun...
