Beast Taming: I Can Add Points

”And his opponent is Alliance Leader Cui Que...”

After all, the Dark Alliance was known for being ruthless and laconic. Opponents were often taken out before they could even react; it was rare for a fight to last this many moves.

For a young Beast Tamer who hadn’t even joined an alliance to accomplish this much was nothing short of an honor.

Cui Que suddenly looked at Su Zhi. ”You’re very strong.”

Su Zhi was taken aback, a little embarrassed. ”There’s still a huge gap between me and you...”

”No, don’t sell yourself short. One day, you will definitely surpass me, and even surpass the vast majority of Alliance Leaders in Blue Star’s history. I trust my own judgment.”

A rare look of approval appeared in Cui Que’s eyes.

Although she had praised Su Zhi before, this was the first time he had seen such an expression from her.

”You have one Pet Beast left. Summon it. Cyan Bee will face you with her full strength.”

”CHIRP! CHIRP! CHIRP! CHIRP!” Cyan Bee nodded repeatedly, its eyes gleaming with excitement.

It had been a long time since she’d had such a satisfying fight against a Low Tier opponent.

’If I remember correctly, the next one is the famous Yu Bao—Su Zhi’s first Pet Beast, and his most iconic one!’

Sure enough, within the Deep Blue Light Array, the silhouette of a Yu Dian Farm Dog faintly appeared.

Everyone present soon discovered that Yu Bao’s appearance was somewhat different from a typical Evolutionary Type. The most significant differences were the color of its pupils and claws, but there were many other subtle variations as well.

’What is this? Some kind of Pet Beast cosmetic? Or a brand-new Evolutionary Type?’

”Chirp?” Cyan Bee was a little confused.

But she didn’t dwell on it and quickly assumed a battle stance.

Compared to heavyweights like Wu Bao and Shan Bao, Yu Bao had far more openings.

’He’s practically riddled with weak points.’

’I don’t even need to look for an opening. A single rush attack should be enough to take him out...’

Cyan Bee scanned him from top to bottom, feeling a tinge of pity. She had seen all of Yu Bao’s matches and knew he had a lot of tricks up his sleeve, but unfortunately for him, he was completely countered by her—a perfect combination of beauty and power.

’I might as well end this quickly, so Master doesn’t get mad at me again!’

”SWOOSH—”

Cyan Bee launched a Rush Form, instantly closing the distance to Yu Bao. Her expression finally changed.

At such close range, Cyan Bee finally noticed the slight incongruity about Yu Bao—the one before her was a Stand-In from a Sand Shadow Guard!

”BOOM!”

Not giving her a chance, the moment Yu Bao saw she had realized, it exploded on the spot.

Cyan Bee retreated backward, completely unharmed but with a look of lingering fear.

For a Four-star Pet Beast like her, a Blinding Technique used by a Low Tier Pet Beast should have been easy to see through. Never mind Yu Bao, not even a Mental Pet Beast specializing in illusions could fool her.

And yet, she had only been able to see through Yu Bao’s clone after getting right up close.

His Energy Control was precise to a terrifying degree!

Just then, the Deep Blue Light Array flickered, and Yu Bao’s ”real body” finally made a leisurely entrance, its face a mixture of three parts calm, three parts confidence, and four parts nonchalance.

In truth, Yu Bao was panicking internally...

But he also understood that the more deadly the opponent, the less fear he could show.

As expected, Cui Que didn’t act rashly either, instead staring at him warily.

’After all, who knew if this was the real one or a clone?’

But the real body had to appear eventually; he couldn’t just rely on clones to stall for time. Cui Que’s gaze shifted, and she quickly noticed a Light Array appearing on the flank.

’I see... using a clone to attract my attention from the front while the real body appears somewhere else?’

’Or maybe the one in front is the real one, and this is just another clone meant to distract me?’

’Tsk. Whatever tricks he’s trying to pull, I’ll just attack first and figure it out later.’

’Let’s see what you’re really made of!’

”CHIRP! CHIRP! CHIRP!”

In an instant, afterimages flickered across the field. Cyan Bee fired a volley of Shadow Arrow Rain at the Yu Bao on the flank while simultaneously launching a Rush Form at the one directly in front.

”SHRRIP—”

Engulfed by the Shadow Arrow Rain, the Yu Bao on the flank instantly dissolved into sand and metal particles.

The Yu Bao in front finally made its move. Iron particles shot up from the ground, swirling through the air and forming a vicious Metal Storm that swept toward Cyan Bee.

Each iron particle glinted with Golden Light, looking like a brilliant meteor shower in the night sky, exceptionally dazzling.

Compared to gravel, the impact of metal particles was far more ferocious and harder to defend against, proving especially effective against agility-type Pet Beasts that were generally poor at defense.

The boost from Thick Earth Golden Might made this Skill even more formidable, granting it greater piercing power and resistance to interference!

This was the Pure Gold Element variation of Sandstorm: Radiant Gold Storm.

After fully awakening its second form, Yu Bao could now use standalone Gold Element Skills without the assistance of Earth Element Energy. This was the mark of having completely mastered a new Attribute!

Cyan Bee took the brunt of the Radiant Gold Storm’s assault. Feeling a faint sting of pain, a trace of surprise appeared in its eyes.

Although it couldn’t be considered a real attack against her, the dense metal particles generated enough force to significantly reduce her flight speed.

Yu Bao seized the opportunity to activate Desert Concealment, flashing behind Cyan Bee in the same direction as the Radiant Gold Storm.

’Interesting... He’s even trying to counterattack!’

The interest in Cyan Bee’s eyes grew stronger.

”SWISH SWISH—”

The next moment, a dark light flashed. Cyan Bee’s figure suddenly vanished. A shadow-like black light could be faintly seen weaving rapidly through the Radiant Gold Storm, reaching the other side in an instant.

Su Zhi immediately recognized the Skill—the Dark Element High Level Commander Skill, Ghost Shadow Evasion.

This wasn’t a Racial Skill of the Cyan-striped Bee-eater, but a Universal Skill that any related Dark Element Pet Beast could learn.
