Beast Taming: I Can Add Points

Chapter 458: Chapter 292: Finally Breaking the Secret Realm

The intensity of the Burning Sand Blade hadn’t changed, but the arrangement of flames and sand had been subtly altered. Yu Bao had sacrificed some of its killing power to make the sand in the Burning Sand Blade more concentrated, boosting its Armor Piercing Ability.

‘What terrifying adaptability. He’ll become a huge threat in the future.’

‘I absolutely cannot let him escape!’

A vicious glint appeared in Clara’s eyes.

Although they had already played all their cards, Su Zhi was right in front of her, and Yu Bao had no time to return and defend him. As long as she took down Su Zhi, even if Yu Bao didn’t die on the spot, its Cultivation Level would be completely crippled.

However, Clara saw Yu Bao charge toward the stone platform where she had just been—

His target was the Radiant Gold Vein Opening Source Stone!

The moment he began his charge, Yu Bao’s body was covered in a Golden Light—the sign of activating Thick Earth Golden Might. Compared to the increasingly blinding glare of the Radiant Gold Vein Opening Source Stone, the light Yu Bao emitted seemed incredibly faint.

Even so, this faint Golden Light had an eye-catching quality that was impossible to ignore.

Immediately after, sand and iron swirled and converged around Yu Bao, also transforming into specks of Golden Light. Enveloped by countless golden glints, Yu Bao used himself as an axis and condensed into a massive Golden Sand Battle Saber.

It was just like that time in the city league… except that was a competition, and this was a battle for survival.

There was truly no way out now.

Su Zhi and Tuoba Jing together were no match for Clara, to say nothing of the endless horde of Earthquake Beasts eyeing them covetously.

Attacking the Radiant Gold Vein Opening Source Stone was just a wild gamble based on his and Su Zhi’s speculation. They couldn’t be certain it was Clara’s weak point, nor could they even be sure they had enough power to destroy it.

‘Even so, so what?’

‘If the night is long and the dawn is nowhere in sight, then I will become the Starfire that ignites hope.’

‘If all other blades have been broken in battle, then I will forge myself into the final Battle Saber!’

The massive Golden Sand Battle Saber stabbed toward the Radiant Gold Vein Opening Source Stone on the stone platform.

In that instant, Yu Bao was like an invincible god of war. The Earthquake Beasts along his path were powerless to stop him, as fragile as mud before the Golden Sand Battle Saber.

It wasn’t so much that Yu Bao’s attack was overwhelmingly powerful, but rather that the moment the Earthquake Beasts perceived the Golden Sand Battle Saber, they seemed to automatically dissipate!

Yu Bao had forcibly carved a long, narrow gap through the boundless swarm of Earthquake Beasts!

Clara’s eyes widened.

‘She shouldn’t have wasted so much thought on Su Zhi’s Envoy’s Pet.’

If she had felt some genuine wariness toward Tuoba Jing at first, then in her plan, Su Zhi and his Pet Beast were merely sacrifices to increase the source stone’s activity.

‘After all, who would be afraid of a sausage on their plate jumping up and slapping them?’

Although Yu Bao had repeatedly shown unexpected performances that even surprised Clara, that was all it was.

Her plan for breaking through her realm hadn’t been affected overall. No matter how rapidly Yu Bao progressed, it was impossible for him to possess the combat power to match her in such a short time.

So, when Yu Bao went all-out and charged the Radiant Gold Vein Opening Source Stone, Clara likewise felt it wasn’t worth worrying about.

She had, after all, tried countless times to destroy or absorb the Radiant Gold Vein Opening Source Stone herself, only to fail every time. That stone had remained completely unharmed from start to finish.

‘If even she, with strength approaching that of a Four-star Exotic Beast, couldn’t do it, what made Yu Bao think he could?’

However, the rapid retreat of the Earthquake Beasts was completely beyond Clara’s expectations, so much so that a strange fear suddenly bloomed in her heart:

‘If I don’t stop Yu Bao, all my previous efforts will be for nothing!’

[Don’t even think about it!]

Clara roared, abandoning Su Zhi and transforming into a blurry white shadow as she turned and lunged at Yu Bao.

There was clearly a distance of several dozen meters between them, yet Clara closed in on Yu Bao in an instant. Su Zhi couldn’t even see how she moved!

The air seemed to freeze. Su Zhi subconsciously held his breath, even preparing to urgently recall Yu Bao into his Beast Taming Space.

He understood that the gap between them was immense. Yu Bao was no match for Clara.

The supposedly indestructible Golden Sand Battle Saber was like paper-mâché before Clara, posing no threat whatsoever.

Su Zhi had tried his best to buy Yu Bao an opportunity, but at the last moment, Clara hadn’t taken the bait and had reacted in time.

‘There wasn’t enough time…’

Before Yu Bao could strike the stone platform, Clara’s claws would first shatter his Golden Sand Battle Saber and seize him by the throat.

‘Is this the end?’

Su Zhi was unwilling to accept it. A feeling of despair began to bubble up from the depths of his heart.

Suddenly, just as Su Zhi thought all hope of a comeback was lost, another deep Golden Light shot into the battlefield, blocking the path between Yu Bao and Clara.

Compared to Yu Bao’s Thick Earth Golden Might, this Golden Light was slightly dimmer and not as resplendent, yet it gave one a sense of security. Beneath the Golden Light, Su Zhi saw crimson Fiery Flame Battle Armor—

It was the Yanhuang Blessing.

At the critical moment, Profound Yellow dragged its injured body back onto the battlefield, becoming the final weight to tip the scales!

[You’re courting death!]

Clara roared furiously, raising her claws and viciously striking at Profound Yellow’s chest.

PSHCHT—

Crimson blood splattered, like a battle flag.

[What?! How could…] Clara’s pupils trembled.

She had just unleashed a full-power strike of a Quasi-Four-star Exotic Beast. Never mind that Profound Yellow’s Energy Value was only at the Two-star level; even a Quasi-Three-star should have been killed instantly.

But the moment her strike hit Profound Yellow, she felt a sense of discord.
