Chapter 1832  Against The Emperor - Nine Heavenly Gates Vs Void Domain(2)

Tang Shaoyang became extra cautious when the emperor intervened. He glanced toward Atilla and the five commanders. They were surprised that the emperor ran away from them. He thought of joining them to fight the emperor and going for the kill, but that would change his plan with the emperor coming for him.

His eyes moved toward where Castor was. The man-made calamity was fine, chugging a healing potion, and there was a dent mark on his chest that slowly healed. Khaya and the others went to check on Castor. That meant Castor would be safe without his help, and his ears had been listening to the emperorʼs conversation with the last standing king.

He furrowed his brow when Thomas Lysvand mentioned a technique. He must be cautious whatever the technique was, and he exchanged glances with Zara. They nodded as they reached a tacit agreement.

The King of Elemental furrowed his brow, looking at the dying Beast King in his hand. He still thought that they were stronger than their enemy, and the reason they lost six of them was because of the surprise attack. If they fought head-on along with Thomas Lysvand, then their enemy would not have a chance. He was surprised that Thomas ordered him to go back instead of fighting together.

”If you think you have a chance against them, you better throw away those useless thoughts. You stand no chance against them. Get back and heal that stupid beast!”

The King of Elemental was reluctant to leave, but he obeyed the order. He was about to make a portal back to the Void Gate, but then two portals next to him. He canceled his portal and jerked back as he saw a sword sliced upward before his eyes.

His heartbeat shot up as he almost died just like his friends, then he heard a thumping noise from the ground. Looking down at the noise, he saw The Beast Kingʼs head rolling on the ground. Then he looked at the body in his hand, a headless body.

The dark-scaled man and the fallen angel came out from each portal. Before he could do anything, a huge force pulled him.

Thomas Lysvand grabbed him by the neck and threw him away. He was mad at the treatment, but then he saw two dark-red swords struck down where he stood just now. His mind froze for a moment, and when he snapped out he was inside the Void Realm. Thomas made a portal and threw him in it, saving him from the quick and surprise attack.

The last words he heard from Thomas were. ”Incompetent Fool!”

Tang Shaoyang sheathed his sword and grabbed the head and the body of the Beast King. Zara managed to secure the body from the last king, and it was a pity that he could not finish the last king.

”The Hurakan Kingdom has been hiding you well from our eyes,” Thomas Lysvand commented. Just like the King of Elemental, he was also shocked by how strong these people were. He also thought these people were lucky to catch the kings off guard, but there was more to it.

Tang Shaoyang and Zara exchanged glances, but shrugged, not bothering to correct Thomas Lysvand.

”However, you are unlucky to meet me in your first battle. If you ever met the former administrator, you might win and kill him, but not me. Welcome to my domain.”

Everything around them, the ground, the wall, the gate, the stone, anything in the radius of ten thousand meters turned black. Even the building inside the frontier turned black. At the same time, the defensive mechanism was installed on the wall and the gate was turned off.

It was a domain skill that Thomas Lysvand had developed for a long time. In his domain, skills, energy which was any kind of energy, and everything that was supported by the energy such as enchantment and defensive formation were disabled. In this domain, no one could use a skill and also could not materialize anything from the energy. Castor could no longer breathe out the black fire.

Thomas perfected a domain for the Void Creature like himself. He and the other Void Creatures could not use the skill from the System. They had to learn it manually, and they were at a clear disadvantage, but they were born with stronger bodies and they got even stronger as they stayed longer inside the Void Realm, getting basked in the Void Energy.

With the domain, that would weaken the people who relied on their skills. But the domain was still far from perfect as it failed to cancel his enemyʼs bloodline transformation. He hoped the domain would cancel the transformation, but he was wrong. There was still room for improvement in his domain.

Meanwhile, Tang Shaoyang furrowed his brow, trying to understand what happened. Aside from everything turning black, he did not feel anything weird from the domain. He glanced at Zara, hoping she would know something, but she shook her head.

Vandir, Karan, and Avyn came down next to them. Vandir was the first one to find out what happened, ”You canʼt use a skill here, and I canʼt summon my undead. It means I have to fight on my own…” He sounded like a lazy man who did not want to do the chores.

It reminded Tang Shaoyang that he never saw Vandir fight on his own, always relying on his undead.

”Not just skills, but also energy. You canʼt materialize energy anymore. The moment I release my energy, itʼs getting neutralized.” Avyn added.

”This is interesting.” Tang Shaoyang muttered. It meant it was a brute fight, and this reminded him of before. There was a skill that also neutralized energy, but this domain also disabled skills.

”I have to commend you that you donʼt panic even after knowing what my domain does.” Thomas was impressed that none of them looked panicked when they found out about his domain.

Tang Shaoyang ignored Thomas completely as he thought about his Nine Heavenly Gates. It was not a skill, but a technique. A different category as it did not show in his window status, so he wondered if he could use the technique inside this domain.

He bent his body forward slightly, holding his sword. Nine Heavenly Gate - Heavenly Sword: Heavenly Revoke.

His body blurred forward as he drew his sword out from the sheath. In the blink of an eye, he was in front of Thomas as he slashed his sword forward.

Thomasʼ eyes widened in shock, but he reacted in time as he took out a black shield from his inventory. He held the shield with his third and fourth hand, a double shield to block the sword.

Dang!

It sparked as the sword hit the shield, and Thomas Lysvand skidded backward in shock. His third and fourth hands were trembling from the impact.

”How!?” He uttered one word as he could not understand what happened. ”How can you still use your skill?” The thought of his domain failing crossed his head, but he threw away the thought as he had tested before. The domain worked well when he used it on the people he kidnapped. If his enemy still could use it, it meant it was not a skill, a technique.

Again, Tang Shaoyang ignored Thomas, rubbing his chin as he thought of something. Avyn said he could not materialize his energy, but the sixth gate, seventh gate, eighth gate, and ninth gate would materialize the four heavenly beasts, and he wondered if it would bypass the domain.

”Letʼs try it,” He muttered as he activated the eighth gate, The Heavenly Vermilion.

He was instance once more, bending his body forward slightly. Heavenly Sword: Heaven Severing World.

The image of Heavenly Vermilion formed behind him, letting out a screech that resounded on the battlefield. At the same time, Azure Dragon Blade was lit up in the golden crimson flame. He slashed horizontally forward at Thomas Lysvand, and the golden-crimson flame in the form of Heavenly Vermilion.

Thomasʼ eyes went wide, and he tried to gather Void Energy into his shield to reinforce his shield, but he realized that he could muster his Void Energy from his body. The drawback was that he also could not use his energy to reinforce his sword or shield. He had no choice but to block the incoming bird with his raw shield.

The firebird went through Thomas and kept going, leaving a trail of burning fire. It reached the army of the void creatures behind Thomas and kept going.

The burning fire did not subside, as if nothing could quell the fire. A figure walked out from the fire, the strike did not kill Thomas Lysvand, but his shields were burned, and his body was on fire.

Thomas felt the searing pain all over his body, but he ignored the pain as his eight eyes locked on Tang Shaoyang. A realization struck him, this man was dangerous, and he must put this man on the same level as Luminar, The King of the Hurakan Kingdom. He was struck with another realization, he must kill this man, he could not let this man become stronger or he would annihilate the Void Cult.
