Armipotent

Chapter 1822  Deals

Clementine did not receive the report about the organized army of void creatures. They moved in formation, albeit a simple formation, but it was a big change for mindless creatures to change like that. Hearing this, she had a bad feeling because what they discovered was different from an organized army, but a combination of both could be deadly.

”The Void Cult has found a way to create a temporary Void Gate, and they have made their move, infecting the newly integrated world into the System. I thought of recalling Tang Shaoyang back because he killed a lot of void creatures very fast, much faster than most of the administrators.”

She creased her brow deeper. ”This might be worse than I thought. If they used that organized army of void creatures to invade an independent world, then most of those worlds would not last long against the void creatures. This gives me more reason to recall him instead of assigning him here, especially with this incident.”

The temporary portal was created by sacrificing dead bodies that were found by Tang Shaoyang during his mission. They discovered that a new world was overrun by the void creatures by using a similar portal, but bigger in scale. For a new world, a few strong void creatures would be a disaster. The people from the new world might not last even a month unless it was an advanced world where magic existed.

”It will take time for The Hurakan Kingdom to pull our reserve force from the God Rank Dimensional Tower. They canʼt leave right away just because we need them as it would leave our territory unguarded inside the dimensional tower. We need Senior Administrator Tang Shaoyang here, and I will assure you nothing will happen to Senior Administrator Tang Shaoyang.”

Commander Edson voiced his desire to keep Tang Shaoyang in the frontier despite what happened. ”We need him at least until we figure out what happens with this organized army of void creatures.”

Tang Shaoyang played a crucial role in the previous fight, and he expected Tang Shaoyang to do the same. He wanted Tang Shaoyang to be a distraction which would reduce the pressure on the wall. He expected the same strategy where Tang Shaoyang became the bait.

”I am afraid this might not work, Commander Edson. Senior Administrator Tang Shaoyang is reliable and extremely strong, I am aware of that fact. However, he is also a ticking bomb for your frontier. If he gets cornered, you might lose your frontier to him than to the void creatures.” Arion shook his head.

He knew how crazy Tang Shaoyang might be, and it would be better to pull Tang Shaoyang out from here before things got worse. ”I heard you have requested reinforcement from alliances and factions to form an alliance army to help you fight this attack. That should be enough reinforcement, no? Even if they are not enough, that would be enough to buy time until the reinforcement from the Hurakan Kingdom.”

That should be enough reinforcement, no? Even if they are not enough, that would be enough to buy time until the reinforcement from the Hurakan Kingdom.”

Arion felt the commander was crazy to make such a request. Tang Shaoyang had killed a few hundred of their soldiers. Regardless of whose right and fault, the soldiers would look differently at Tang Shaoyang. The extremists might have taken an extreme approach when it came to Tang Shaoyang. He could not understand why the commander wanted Tang Shaoyang so badly.

”I donʼt know if anyone can replace Senior Administrator Tang Shaoyangʼs role from the last battle. He played the most crucial role in the last fight, and we suffered no casualties thanks to him. After the last battle, I plan to cleanse my legions from corruption to provide a better place for Tang Shaoyang because of how many factions and alliances want him dead.”

”That was why I requested an audit from the Imperial Investigator, to ensure that none of my people get bribed by the outside forces. But it was out of my expectation that the people from the Imperial Investigator stirred the trouble instead. I donʼt know that Chief Kenver would bring someone who hates administrators with him for the audit.”

Commander Edson explained the reason why he called for an Imperial Investigator as part of his plan to make Tang Shaoyang comfortable on the frontier. He explained to the Executive Administrators what happened, and he wanted Tang Shaoyang to know the reason why he called for the Imperial Investigator. His intention was good, but the result was far from good.

He hoped Tang Shaoyang would stay in the frontier and help the Hurakan Legion pass this new crisis by being genuine. He knew that he could not force Tang Shaoyang to stay, and this was his last attempt.

”Regardless of your intention, we canʼt reverse what happened, Commander Edson. Your soldiers will look at Tang Shaoyang and his team differently. Regardless of your assurance, you canʼt control thousands or even hundreds of thousands of peopleʼs thoughts. They might scheme behind you regardless of what your orders are. I think itʼs the best solution to pull Senior Administrator Tang Shaoyang from here.”

Clementine insisted on pulling Tang Shaoyang from the frontier. ”We can send five more teams with Chief Administrators to replace Senior Administrator Tang Shaoyangʼs team if you need more people. I donʼt think we should take the risk because we donʼt know what those alliances might do behind your back.”

Commander Edson knew that he could not persuade the two Executive Administrators, but he might be able to persuade Tang Shaoyang. He smiled at the two Executive Administrators before turning toward Tang Shaoyang. ” I think his opinion matters here, no? What do you think, Senior Administrator Tang Shaoyang?”

Despite his silence, Tang Shaoyang was in conversation with the three former commanders of the Hurakan Legion in his head. Gianni, Nikolas, and Mathias were doing their best to persuade Tang Shaoyang to stay. After fighting the first attack from the army of the void creatures, they also believed that Tang Shaoyang would play a crucial role in the next fight. They did not want the place they protected to fall.

The three were doing their best to persuade Tang Shaoyang even though they faced the strongest spirit in the Spirit World, Avyn. They did not cower even though Avyn had a threatened look when they tried to persuade Tang Shaoyang.

Tang Shaoyangʼs index finger started tapping the table, indicating he was thinking about it. He was not considering Edsonʼs words, but the three spirits in his head. He had a plan for the three commander spirits.

ʼI can agree with you guys, but with two conditions.ʼ

[Whatʼs the condition?] The Hurakan Legion Commander II - Gianni was the one who took the lead in the conversation and asked.

ʼThe first condition is you must serve me even when you are alive. I plan to resurrect you three, and I want you three to lead my army to fight the Nirvana Alliance and the other alliances. This is not a contract, meaning you must join my empire and canʼt return to the Hurakan Kingdom!ʼ

The plan was to fight the weakest faction in the Nirvana Alliance and absorb their force. He needed someone to lead the absorbed force, and three seasoned commanders were a start.

ʼThe second condition, if I ever summoned more commander spirits from the Hurakan Kingdom, you must persuade them to agree with the first condition!ʼ

The plan was not to resurrect the Archaic Spirit, and most of the Archaic Spirits did not seek a resurrection except for Karoen. However, he would need seasoned commanders to lead his army in the future. He might be strong, but he would not rate himself as an excellent commander. That was why he needed Gianni, Nikolas, and Mathias for his future army.

Someone strong and experienced to lead an army because once the fight broke out, his enemies would not stay still. The fight would spread out not just to where he was, but many places, and he needed a commander as strong as the Archaic Spirit which was the top ten percent of the God Rank in terms of strength.

Gianni, Nikolas, and Mathias fell silent when they heard the condition. The first condition was not too bad. Tang Shaoyang was an Administrator, essentially, he was required to fight the Void Cult which aligned with their goals. However, they did not like the second condition as it felt wrong to persuade someone from the Hurakan Kingdom to leave the kingdom.

[I agree with the condition!] The first one to agree was Nikolas. [You said just to persuade, and I will do my best to persuade whoever you summoned. And I think the kingdom had the replacement for me, so I donʼt mind changing allegiance to you as long as I can continue fighting the Void Cult!]

ʼYou just need to persuade, but bear in mind, I will not resurrect the spirits who would not serve me after I resurrect them. I am not going to let you guys leave me and just be my enemy in the future.ʼ

Gianni and Mathias took their time, more than ten minutes before giving their answer. They also agreed with the condition even though it was a hard decision. Just like Nikolas said, The Hurakan Kingdom had found their replacement, and their returns might throw the balance in the kingdom instead.

After obtaining the three spiritʼs agreement, he looked toward Commander Edson. ”I will help you defend the frontier, but with one condition.”

Commander Edson was happy, but then he furrowed his brow. Even though Tang Shaoyang said it was just one condition, he felt like the condition would be hard to agree on.
