Chapter 168, Lending a Helping Hand

The Diabolical Mist Leopard pounced. A foul wind swept through. Xiang Ya, who was on the ground, was caught paralyzed with fear. She was unable to move. Only a desolate, tragic smile flashed across her delicate face.

“No!” Seeing this scene, the mercenaries from the Dawn Mercenary Group felt their eyes about to burst. They wanted to rush over to intervene, but it was already too late.

“Sister!” Little Xuan’s big eyes were also red. If she had not been held back by an injured mercenary, she would have rushed over.

*Haaaaa!* Watching this scene, Qin Yichen standing beside Xiang Xuan also let out a light sigh. He soon stepped outside, towards the Diabolical Mist Leopard.

“Little Brother, what are you doing!? Get back here!” The two injured members beside Xiang Xuan saw what he was planning to do and hurriedly said.

However, as their words fell, they saw Qin Yichen’s toes barely touch the ground before his figure appeared like an arrow in front of Xiang Ya.

“Are you seeking death? This is a second level Peak Stage Demonic Beast!” Seeing him suddenly appear in front of her, Xiang Ya was startled. After recognizing who it was, her face immediately changed and she hurriedly shouted.

However, Qin Yichen did not pay attention to her words. His palm gripped onto a hilt, and a milky-white slender sword flashed into existence, hovering at his side.

*Hummm…* When this slender sword appeared, almost everyone sensed a sharp Sword Qi that seemed capable of penetrating everything, filling this space.

At the same time, a powerful aura spread from Qin Yichen’s body. Although this aura was only at the Martial Grandmaster Realm, for some unknown reason, even Liu Zhen and Xiang Wu felt an inexplicable pressure when they sensed this aura.

A series of shouts suddenly stopped at this moment. Everyone in the camp seemed to move half a beat slower. Xiang Ya looked at the figure in front of her with disbelief. In this instant, that originally tall and slightly thin figure seemed to become as majestic as a mountain.

“What Dad said… was true!” At this moment, only this sentence echoed in Xiang Ya’s mind. [‘He might seem lazy and carefree but he is truly extraordinary!’]

The sharp Sword Qi and powerful aura that suddenly erupted made the air around him seem to freeze for an instant. Even so, the Diabolical Mist Leopard did not stop rushing toward them. Its mind was only filled with the Beast Soul on Little Xuan! It was prepared to destroy everything in its way!

*Roar!* The Diabolical Mist Leopard let out a roar, its blood-red beast eyes flashing with a terrifying red light, which also quickly awakened everyone. Looking at the fierce Diabolical Mist Leopard, everyone’s hearts suddenly tightened.

It came with a series of afterimages, crashing down violently. With each swipe of its claws, it seemed to tear space apart. Instantly, Qin Yichen felt a strong gust of wind hitting his face, making his cheeks sting.

Faced with the Diabolical Mist Leopard’s quick and vicious claw attacks, Qin Yichen not only did not retreat but stepped forward instead. His right hand clenched into a fist, and under his clothes, the muscles on his arm moved. It was a power strong enough to make a second level Peak Martial Grandmaster tremble.

*Bang!* Faced with a claw attack, Qin Yichen directly punched out, bringing a series of low sonic booms. Vaguely, one could see faint Whitish Yuan Energy surging on his fist.

“He actually wants to confront the Diabolical Mist Leopard head-on?!”

Seeing this scene, all members of the Dawn Mercenary Group were shocked. Even someone as strong as Xiang Wu had to rely on the sharpness of his large sword to confront the Diabolical Mist Leopard head-on. As for using fists to confront these Demonic Beasts that were naturally stronger than Humans, they a;; saw it as an extremely foolish move.

Qin Yichen did not pay attention to the shock in everyone’s eyes. The muscles on his entire arm were violently trembling, and vaguely, a surging power flowed out.

Qin Yichen was quite confident in his physical strength!

*Bang!……* The fist wrapped in nearly transparent Yuan Energy finally heavily struck the Diabolical Mist Leopard’s sharp claws in the next instant.

At this moment, it was as if the entire space had frozen. Then, a visible wave of energy burst out from the point of contact between the two.

*Bang!* The soil on the ground suddenly rose, turning into a shower of mud falling down.

*Howl!……* Amidst the flying mud, everyone heard a painful roar. Looking over, everyone’s pupils suddenly contracted, and a trace of shock also crawled onto their faces.

At the place where the mud fell, the large-bodied Diabolical Mist Leopard had not torn Qin Yichen to pieces as everyone had expected. Instead, it had been violently shaken back by a powerful force, and its right claw was now limply hanging there, having been broken by that single punch!

“What terrifying power!”

The members of the Dawn Mercenary Group looked at the slightly thin figure that had only stepped back twice, and could not help but swallow. Undoubtedly, waves of shock had been stirred up in their hearts.

How could such terrifying power come from this body that did not look to be very strong!

They could not understand. Was this guy really Human?

Compared to him, most looked more like beasts!

Xiang Ya, who was behind Qin Yichen, was also shocked speechless by this scene.

Even her admired Father, Xiang Wu, could not do this., to directly punch back the Diabolical Mist Leopard!

“Whoosh!”

While everyone was still in shock and had not reacted, the slender sword floating at Qin Yichen’s side suddenly turned into a white light. Under everyone’s shocked gazes, it directly pierced a bloody hole through the Diabolical Mist Leopard.

That body as strong as steel, under this slender sword, was like tofu, offering no resistance at all.

*Roar!….* Seeing its companion’s aura slowly dissipate, the other Diabolical Mist Leopard also roared, swiping at Xiang Wu and making him stagger, then pouncing towards Qin Yichen.

“Whoosh!”

However, while this Diabolical Mist Leopard was still in mid-air, with a flash of white light, its body suddenly stopped, then blood rained down as it crashed to the ground.

“Roar!”

With the two strongest Diabolical Mist Leopards slain, the remaining Demonic Beasts finally let out fearful roars, then turned tail and ran. In just a few short minutes, all the Demonic Beasts had fled clean away, leaving behind a ground full of beast carcasses.
