World’s Cutest Alchemist

During the car ride back, I put step two of my plan into motion.

“Ahem,” I cleared my throat, “Oh, tower, your sweetest and most dearest climber has a request for you!”

“…What are you doing now?” Luna asked hesitantly. It seemed like she thought I was about to cause trouble.

But! I really wasn’t!

“Hehe, I just want to change my anonymous settings. Instead of the full silhouette, I’d like to use masked mode.”

“Huh? Are you sure?” Luna asked, concerned.

“Yep~ No problem!”

“Well…I’ll trust you know what you’re doing. Just know that people may actually recognize you when we’re out in public if you do that.”

“It’s okay~” I nonchalantly said.

I didn’t actually need to call out to the tower if I wanted to change the setting, but I found it more fun so I did.

Plus, based on when I obtained the Little Bomber title, it seems like the tower does actually listen to what we say.

[Would you like to confirm your anonymous setting as ‘Masked Mode’?]

[Y/N]

[Masked mode will only hide your face behind a mask. Other anonymity settings apply.]

“Yep! Oh! But I’d like for the fifth floor clear video to have full-masked mode on; The others can have this domino-masked mode, pretty please~”

It didn’t give me a confirmation or denial, so, I checked the fifth floor clear video. The ones others would see.

And lo’ and behold, the tower listened to my request. Now, in the fifth floor clear, you could see my usual tower climbing outfit minus the items. My light blonde hair flowed down my back and covering my face was a pitch black mask.

Wow, I look both scary and cool in this video now.

Closing that, I also checked my fourth floor clear.

There, I was in my usual tower climbing outfit. And as I requested, only a domino mask covered my face, though, you still couldn’t make out what I looked like due to the glitch and distortion effect.

“Perfect!” I happily nodded.

“You did it?” Luna asked. She couldn’t check anything since she was driving.

“Mhm,” I nodded, “My clear videos now show everything except my face.”

“What made you decide to turn off silhouette mode?” Luna asked.

“Hehe~” I giggled, “Well, there’s a lot more fun things I can do without having to worrying about it now.”

“Fun things? Like what?”

“Mm…Well, we’ll see, won’t we?” I smiled.

“Fine, keep your secrets.” Luna chuckled.

When I checked my phone again, I saw the internet had already found out. It was blowing up, once again. Geez, they’re so obsessed over me~

[Little Bomber Reveals herself?!]

[Raccoon has turned off her anonymity settings!]

[#CutestLittleBomber]

[Blonde hair!!! Raccoon is officially the cutest!]

[What’s with her outfit? LMAO]

Hm…Do I even want to click on these posts?

…

Hailey Burnip, also known as the Emperor Dragon Queen, was exercising as usual when she received a message notification.

[C-Rank: Hey! Did you see? Little Bomber revealed herself!]

It was from an awakener she had trained with for a day. Even though she had never responded to her, that awakener continued to message her daily.

And, like usual, she was planning on completely ignoring the message. However, the content was too shocking to ignore.

But, instead of replying, Hailey opened the internet, and…

[Raccoon has turned off her anonymity settings!]

[Blonde hair!!! Raccoon is officially the cutest!]

This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author’s work.

It seemed like the Little Bomber had truly revealed themselves somewhere. She had already saw the association’s post, but, she had never thought that the Little Bomber would truly show what they look like.

“Anonymity settings?” Hailey mumbled, immediately opening Raccoon’s 5th floor clear video.

“…This is what she looks like?” She let out unknowingly.

Though, she couldn’t see Raccoon’s face, she got a general understanding of her appearance.

“…She’s short.”

…

[Guys?? I think I saw Little Bomber in person at the association minutes ago?]

Author: xx

Currently at the main association in South Florida, and I, just like everyone else checked the association’s Tawer when they posted. Everyone was surprised and laughing at the time.

I didn’t notice anything then, but, after seeing an general look of what the Little Bomber looks like except the face, I’m remembering seeing someone who looked just like that minus the outfit sitting on a bench.

She was next to some beautiful silver-haired girl, laughing. From what I remember seeing, she was watching everyone’s reactions…Everyone thought that the association’s announcement was hours ago…But, what if it was only minutes ago and the Little Bomber stayed to watch the reactions…

→ [PFFT! That sounds exactly like something I’d expect from her! I genuinely believe this LMAOOO]

→ [HAHAHA! Honestly, from what we know of her personality, that sounds like something she’d do.]

→ [I guess that she’s going public and just wants to cause a bit more mischief before she’s widely known.]

↳ [She’s already widely known lmao, she’s just a gremlin. The signs were there from the start: The bouncy ball video.]

↳ [Agh!!! She said the bouncy potions would be coming soon!!]

→ [#CutestLittleBomber]

…

“Hehe!” I giggled, reading through the posts.

“What’s the general opinion?” Luna asked.

I furrowed my brow and put on a pout,

“They all think I’m a chaos gremlin!”

“…Is that wrong?” Luna asked.

“Gasp!” I audibly gasped, “Mouse! How could you!? I’m hurt!”

“…”

“I sentence you to punishment!”

“…And what’s my punishment?”

“Hugs and kisses!”

“O-Okay…” Luna said with a flushed face, “T-Then…You can punish me more…”

“Eh…?” I stared at her for a second before mischievously smiling, “Okay! Then, no hugs or kisses for a day!”

“A-Ah…” She flinched, “C-Can I rescind that statement?”

“Pfft!” I chuckled.

“So…Can I?” She repeated.

I didn’t answer until we returned home, when we did, I embraced her and gave her plenty of kisses.

While we were busy, Luna’s text tone sounded.

We reluctantly separated and she checked her phone. I shot a glare at it with a jutted lip.

“It’s the agent.” Luna said, showing me her screen.

[Hello, Ms. ElectricTypeMouse, Ms. Raccoon, this is Ashley Becker, the personal agent offered by the association. I am available for an interview at any date this week. Please let me know the time and date you’d like to meet at your convenience.]

“Oh, she seems official.” I commented.

“Well, it is her job.” Luna shrugged, “When do you want to meet her?” She asked.

“Um…Might as well get it done sooner than later, so, tomorrow?”

“Alright, then…Tomorrow at 13:00?”

“Sure.” I nodded, “Well, then…” I stretched my arms wide, “I’m gonna get back to brewing you your buff potions.” I said.

There were only a few left to make. It’s been smooth sailing for making the C- grade potions; The only difficult part was when the monster core fought back and tried to eat all the materials.

I’d imagine the difficulty only increases when I use stronger materials. Honestly, I might be able to push for C grade, but I know that C+ grade would be extremely difficult to make at my current level.

“Okay…” Luna said, “Then, I’ll be on the computer.”

“Got it~ I’ll make us chicken cutlets for dinner then.”

“With mashed potatoes?”

“With mashed potatoes.” I nodded.

“Thank you.” Luna smiled, before she headed to the bedroom, she hugged me and shyly gave me a peck.

“Hehe.”

Well, time to get to work.

…

Before committing to making potions, I checked my messages. Two days ago, in the midst of my trolling, I had actually asked for some important things.

Namely, glass makers, and an enchanter for my blanket.

There were quite a few people who responded to my request. Now that I think about it, couldn’t this be another thing the association would handle?

Well, whatever. Too late for that now.

I briefly looked through the profiles of some people who messaged me; I wasn’t looking at how much clout they had or their follower count, instead, I was looking through their Tawer posts and exchange listings.

I wanted quality over anything else. Even if they were a brand new awakener, as long as they proved worthwhile, I’d contact them.

“Let’s see…” I mumbled, checking another enchanter’s profile.

Alias - Lonely Panda Lover

Title - Apprentice Enchanter

Class - Enchanter

Followers - 45

He didn’t have much Tawer posts, but there were a few.

[Lonely Panda Lover: Today, I restored this worn dagger; It was originally obtained from a goblin on the first floor. Though it took a long time, I eventually got it to shine like new. (picture of sleek silver dagger) Original Grade: F]

Used Goblin’s Dagger

Grade D+

What used to be a goblin’s rusty and old dagger. Having undergone careful restoration this dagger has been completely overhauled and enchanted with as much enchants as it can maintain.

* Sharp - This blade is enchanted to maintain maximum sharpness.

* Bleed - This modifier causes cuts and wounds caused by this weapon to bleed more and is harder to heal.

* Durable - This modifier increases the durability of this weapon.

[Lonely Panda Lover: I enchanted my first piece of clothing today, it was a throwaway jacket from a new tailor. (picture of gray jacket) Original Grade: E-]

Beginner’s Zipper Jacket

Grade E+

Creator: Kokowallace | Lonely Panda Lover

A zipper jacket made from cheap materials for practice. Purchased and enchanted by an apprentice enchanter, Lonely Panda Lover.

* Snug - This modifier keeps the jacket nice and snug when worn.

* Temperature Regulation - This modifier ensures the jacket will never be too hot or too cold.

* Wind Strider - When running with this jacket, you’ll feel less resistance from the wind.

“Hm…” I pondered for a moment, reading through more of his works. Though they all had basic enchants, all of them were way lower grade than the finished product.

It seems like he also spends a lot of time on each item. I can’t believe he restored one of those rusty, falling apart goblin’s dagger to something that actually looks presentable.

Also, I liked his name: Lonely Panda Lover. Anyone who loves pandas can’t be a bad person!

Alright! Let’s interview this fellow.

[Lonely Panda Lover: Hello, Ms. Raccoon. I am positive you have hundreds of other, more professional enchanters messaging you, maybe even rankers. However, despite that, I wish to try my luck and offer my meager services; I awakened later in my life and only began enchanting just only a year ago. I can promise to do my best if you decide to commission me against all odds.]

[Raccoon: Hey! When you’re available to talk, please message!]

After sending that, I looked at another awakener who had messaged me. A glass maker.

I wanted custom potion bottles; Both for commercial and personal use. So, this had an equal amount of importance to the enchanter.

Alias - White Crystal Addict

Title - D+ Grade Glassblower

Class - Glassblower

Followers - 24

“Eh? There’s an actual class related to making glass?” I mumbled, surprised.

Honestly, I thought someone with a production class that wasn’t focused on making glass would message me.

I wonder if it’s an advanced class? Or did he awaken as a glassblower from the start?

Either way, what is with this guy’s alias? White Crystal Addict? Should I drug check this guy before anything?

It is kind of funny though.

“Hehe,” I giggled, looking through his Tawer.

Unlike what Panda mister did, this guy didn’t post the backstory behind everything he made. Instead, he simply posted pictures of his work and let those speak for himself.

[White Crystal Addict: (picture of glass cup)]

The cup looked fancy, like one of those cups you’d see at a high-dining restaurant. The base had a diamond cross-pattern circled around. It transitioned into a wavy pattern up to the rim of the glass.

Another post he made was a photo of a miniature glass dolphin. It wasn’t extremely detailed, but it was at a point where someone would pass by it and think “Huh, that’s neat.”

Looking through a few more posts, I understood this guy had quality. But, I needed quantity as well. I need to be able to bottle hundreds of potions per day.

I decided to look at one more post before deciding.

[White Crystal Addict: (picture of miniature glass raccoon)]

I’m convinced! If this guy can make batch glasses, I’ll gladly hire him!

[White Crystal Addict: Hello, I am a glassblower class. I like working on small but detailed projects, however, I’m also available for more practical wares. I don’t have a guild, party, nor am I locked into any contracts. These are some of my works: (multiple pictures of glass projects). I can work short-term or long-term.]

[Raccoon: Hey! When you’re available to talk, please message!]

After that message, I looked through a few more profiles. I noted some of them down, but I didn’t send them any messages. If all goes well, panda mister and drug…crystal mister might be all I need.

“Wow, that took longer than I thought.” I mumbled, checking the time.

Guess I’ll start cooking dinner.
