Chapter 886: Chapter 322: Reunion with the Legendary Earth Snake (Two-in-One Chapter)_3

”Rein, compared to your strength, there’s still quite a gap.” Cleya said earnestly, her beautiful eyes fixed on Rein.

”Want to practice a bit?” Rein smiled and raised the staff in his hand.

”Of course, but Rein, are you really going to fight me with a staff?” Cleya glanced at the weapon in Rein’s hand and couldn’t help but laugh.

”Haha, let’s give it a try!” Rein chuckled.

In the center of the training room, Rein and Cleya quickly engaged each other.

”Clang clang!”

The greatsword and Rein’s staff clashed repeatedly!

At first, Cleya had the thought that ’Rein really underestimated her.’

But as time went on, Cleya gradually focused, almost fully employing Acadian Swordsmanship!

As for Rein, the smile on his face grew brighter, because during this brief minute of engagement, system notifications appeared like a flood:

[You practiced with Rockdelo’s Guardian Staff, relevant understanding improved!]

[Your skill Rockdelo’s Guardian Staff improved, experience points +3]

[Your skill Rockdelo’s Guardian Staff improved, experience points +3]

...

Thanks to Cleya’s sparring, along with the ’Advanced Transcendent Understanding’ talent, the system nearly every three to four seconds prompted a three-point experience increase,

In just a minute, Rockdelo’s Guardian Staff lv1 experience bar was already halfway!

This astonishing speed made Rein delighted!

”Rein, be careful now, I’m going to use my bloodline talent ability!” Cleya leveraged herself off and reminded Rein.

”Alright, I was just curious to see your bloodline ability.” Rein nodded, feeling somewhat curious.

Was it that bluish airflow from before?

It seems to be a wind element acceleration ability?

”One of my bloodline abilities is acceleration!”

As Cleya’s words fell, two streams of bluish airflow swirled around her long and resilient thighs.

Next, Cleya’s speed surged by at least thirty percent, actually forming a long trail of airwaves as she rushed towards Rein!

”So fast!” Rein’s heart slightly skipped, but his hands stayed steady without panic.

He performed the Secret Technique ’Shadow Step,’ instantly leaving multiple afterimages, engaging Cleya in a quick counterattack.

”Clang clang clang!”

The intense collision sounds formed a continuous wave!

Cleya was surprised to find that even after using her bloodline talent ability, she still couldn’t gain the upper hand against Rein holding the short stick!

”This... this is just insane!”

Seizing Cleya’s brief moment of astonishment, Rein flashed five different postured phantoms and simultaneously thrust the staff towards Cleya!

Rein’s staff lightly touched Cleya’s shoulder then quickly moved away, stopping.

”Sigh! I thought the gap between us could be closed a bit, but...” Cleya sighed.

”Well... Cleya, with your strength and activated bloodline talent, I’d estimate that not even a typical Senior Knight could match you. I was just taking advantage of step technique secrets.” Rein comforted her.

”Really?”

”Absolutely!”

It seemed that Rein’s encouragement had a significant effect as Cleya continued to spar with Rein multiple times!

Rein’s new Extraordinary Battle Technique ’Rockdelo’s Guardian Staff’ kept advancing, reaching lv4 in under forty minutes.

Since Cleya had just awakened, excessive fatigue could be detrimental to the body, so after a while, they both left the training room.

At that point, Rein’s ’Rockdelo’s Guardian Staff’ reached lv5.

Meanwhile.

Deep underground in a part of Meist.

A giant snake-like creature was rapidly tunneling, followed by a group of people in black robes, led by a handsome middle-aged man.

”Contact Ecosela and inform her that we need roughly four more hours to reach directly below the Earl Habs Mansion in the County Town.”

”Hmm... around two in the morning.” The handsome man thought for a moment before speaking.

”At your command, Lord Edmondo.” A black-robed figure respectfully acknowledged and slowly retreated as if to make contact.

”Lord, two o’clock in the morning is when people are most weary, making it the best time to launch an attack.” Another black-robed figure complimented.

”Yes, sir, also, the power of the Legendary Earth Snake is truly astonishing, no wonder the Pope paid such attention, sending you personally for this!” Another black-robed subordinate admired the rapidly tunneling earth snake, expressing his awe.

”Indeed, with this Legendary Earth Snake, our activities in several provinces of the Empire can be interconnected, which is of great significance.” Edmondo also smiled and nodded.

The task of commanding the earth snake was completed smoothly, naturally putting him in high spirits.

Next, the plan is to visit Meist County City and completely destroy the Habs family of the Earl; that would be the end.

As for the message from Ecosela about going to Mingster to find a Sword Bearer named Rein, Edmondo wasn’t particularly interested.

Firstly, the defensive power deployed by the Dragan Empire in the province city and the county town is entirely on different levels.

Moreover, Mingster is unique, built against a mountain where the terrain is made of solid rock formations. Even with the tunneling abilities of a Legendary Earth Snake, creating a tunnel would be extremely difficult.
