Chapter 703: Chapter 276 Warhammer Wizard (Two in One Mega Chapter)_4

Instead of following the standard classification, creatures are categorized according to Transcendent Species, Legendary Species, Epic Species…

This is how the classifications are organized.

The Earth Snake is precisely a creature that belongs to the Legendary Species!

…

—————–

At the same time.

Rein, who had just returned to his room, was startled!

He had just felt the ground shake. Although it did not last long, the shaking didn’t seem irregular like an earthquake; the tremors felt very stable…

This gave him an ominous premonition.

Shaking his head, Rein decided not to think about it for now and recalled the recent battle instead.

Holdan’s transformation into a black serpent was particularly memorable to Rein!

If his spirit will had not been firm enough at that moment, the mere pressure from the appearance of the black serpent would have intimidated him momentarily, potentially altering the outcome of the entire battle.

Besides, that move where the opponent wrapped around to his side and behind him with the black mist serpent energy attack was also very tricky.

One could say, even if any Peak Knight were to defend against it, the difficulty would be quite substantial.

“Secret Snake Sect, huh?”

“They’ve got something all right!” Rein muttered to himself.

This crisis awareness was no small matter for Rein.

After all, the Sword Bearers Branch in Nome Province had provided accurate information: two people from the Secret Snake Sect came to Meister.

Holdan was merely their priest, while another named Ganon was the Great Priest.

In terms of strength, he could be even more formidable!

Moreover, considering the Cult of Black Flame could attack at any time, even with the Blade Squad and Split Tooth Bear Squad, the situation was far from favorable.

Of course, another reason was that the enemy lurked in the shadows while they were exposed, so defense was relatively passive.

“However, calculating the time, Cleya should be able to successfully break through to become a Great Knight by tomorrow, right?”

“Take the initiative?” Rein thought to himself.

But he quickly realized the enemy’s strength was formidable, so whether he was on the defense or launching an offensive, it seemed he was heading into a tough fight!

“It seems I need to enhance my strength as soon as possible!”

Recalling he hadn’t checked the system message after the fight ended, Rein called up the system:

…

[You have gone through a battle, Wizard (Legendary) Experience +1591]

[You have gone through a battle, Weapon Master (Legendary) Experience +577]

[Congratulations, you have defeated a powerful enemy and received 1 Golden Skill Point!]

…

[Congratulations, your Wizard (Legendary) Profession Level has increased!]

…

The Wizard (Legendary) Profession Level had gone up one level, reaching lv6 (31/3000).

Rein had gained 1 attribute point and 1 skill point again; now, he had 9 remaining attribute points and 1 remaining skill point, as well as 1 Golden Skill Point.

Although there were 9 remaining attribute points, Rein used them as a means of recovering vitality and naturally could not afford to spend them at this time.

With only 1 skill point and 1 Golden Skill Point, they didn’t seem to offer any significant improvement in the short term.

“It seems… I have to advance my class change a bit earlier!” Rein murmured after pondering for a moment.

Originally, he had planned to raise his Wizard (Legendary) Profession Level a bit more, to lv7 or lv8, and then switch to Warhammer Wizard when leveling up slowed down.

But now, with enemies all around, it seemed safer to class change earlier and maximize combat power.

Besides, the difference of only 1 attribute point and 1 skill point from lv6 to lv7 was not significant.

However, a class change could possibly lead to a qualitative change.

Having made up his mind, Rein once again picked up the Skull Warhammer!

System notifications followed:

[Ding! Host has obtained the special object ‘Skull Warhammer’, triggering special class transformation — Warhammer Wizard (Legendary)!]

[Preconditions for class change to Warhammer Wizard (Legendary): One, any official category Wizard; Two, any hammer-type Transcendent magical object; Three, any Warhammer category Extraordinary Battle Technique lv12 or above; Four, physical Second Order Limit Break value of 30% or above… Current conditions met, yes/no to change class to Warhammer Wizard (Legendary)?]

[Note: After class changing to Warhammer Wizard (Legendary), it will override the Wizard (Legendary) profession panel.]

Without hesitation, Rein silently affirmed, “Yes!” in his mind.

[Initiating class change…]

[Ding! Class change to Warhammer Wizard (Legendary) successful! Strength +3, Spirit +3!]

[You have acquired the core skill of Warhammer Wizard (Legendary): Soul-Crushing Warhammer (Active)]

On the system panel.

The previous Wizard (Legendary) panel had vanished, replaced by the Warhammer Wizard (Legendary) profession panel.

The entire panel was flashing with an intensely vibrant blue light, more dazzling and potent than the blue of the previous Wizard (Legendary) profession panel and the current Weapon Master (Legendary).

This seemed to indicate that even among Legendary professions, the Warhammer Wizard (Legendary) was a top-tier existence.

“Huh?”

“Core skill?”

Rein immediately noticed the change.

Both Strength and Spirit had increased by 3, not much, but understandable.

Given it was a Legendary profession switching to another Legendary profession, the level of advancement was not very large.

However, he really hadn’t expected that transitioning from a Wizard to a Warhammer Wizard within the Legendary profession panel would add a core skill!

This made Rein quite curious and he started to check it out…
