Three Towers Game

Wen Xishu was very pleased with the effect. He had Britney stay in the kitchen to create the illusion that more cooking was needed.

Meanwhile, Wen Xishu began to switch roles to Zhou Fei.

...

...

Moderate Illness Area.

Even during the day, the wards in the Moderate Illness Area were dim.

Wen Xishu suddenly opened his eyes and sat up.

Due to Zhou Fei’s sleepwalking habit, his actions wouldn’t draw too much attention.

The Good People of Good People Hall were all battling their own desires. Even Zhou Fei himself felt a strong hunger.

Although he hadn’t been fully parasitized, through shared perception, Zhou Fei could already taste the deliciousness of food.

For a true Good Person, the feeling would be dozens of times stronger than that of Zhou Fei.

No Good Person came today to carry away some ”prospective Good People,” not because there was no one to carry, but because the Good People were all craving.

The sound of insects crawling came from the ward. This time, it was a bald middle-aged man who had completed the parasitic transformation from human to Good Person.

He sat up stiffly, much like the old tea seller from the day before.

But unlike before, without a white coat to take him away, he stood up on his own, drooling, and began moving towards the Mild Illness Area.

It was this point that Wen Xishu judged it to be the best time to act.

Wen Xishu controlled Zhou Fei and reached the stairway.

The stealth rune was still there.

”It’s different from in the game; in the game, this thing switches every two minutes.”

Wen Xishu really wanted to get a bottle to capture it, but in the end, touched the rune, and Zhou Fei’s body began to turn invisible.

At this moment, the surveillance cameras could indeed capture Zhou Fei’s disappearance process.

But Wen Xishu still did so, because he bet that no one would notice this corner now.

He bet correctly.

Following this, Wen Xishu controlled Zhou Fei to head towards the Severe Illness Area.

Wen Xishu was already very familiar with the structure of the wards.

Before long, he reached the courtyard on the first floor, and Wen Xishu walked out of the courtyard.

Outside the courtyard was an open landscape, where some Good People could be seen dragging their newly-acquired bodies, still awkward in their movements, towards the Mild Illness Area.

Wen Xishu confirmed that the direction opposite was towards the Severe Illness Area.

So he controlled Zhou Fei to walk towards the Severe Illness Area.

After about fifteen minutes, Wen Xishu finally found the entrance to the Severe Illness Area.

Although the Mild Illness Area was the true Severe Illness Area, given it’s been overtaken by the Good People…

The nominal Severe Illness Area did have the feeling of a Severe Illness Area.

Heavily fortified, like a high-security prison.

Luckily, at this moment, only a small number of low-level guards remained. Fortunately, people were periodically transferred from the Severe Illness Area to the Mild Illness Area, so the back entrance of the Severe Illness Area was open. However, there were four patrolling guards.

Yes, there were still guards.

Although most of the Good People, driven by desire, went to the Mild Illness Area to enjoy the gratification of appetite.

Yet there remained a few Good People with strict orders to guard certain areas.

Wen Xishu controlled Zhou Fei, carefully, without making a sound, bypassing the guards, entering the Severe Illness Area.

Upon reaching the Severe Illness Area, Wen Xishu felt less unfamiliar.

Because Chris’s memories were also in his mind, utilizing Chris’s understanding of the Severe Illness Area, Wen Xishu controlled Zhou Fei—passing through one electrotherapy room after another, down dark corridors and stairways leading underground, finally arriving outside the confinement chamber.

The door of the confinement chamber was locked. Chris couldn’t escape from here.

Zhou Fei, without the key, couldn’t open this door to let Chris out either.

Truthfully, the correct approach was to wait for Chris to come out of the basement.

But Wen Xishu couldn’t wait any longer to conduct an experiment.

Wen Xishu controlled Zhou Fei to come to where Chris was outside the confinement chamber.

It was extremely quiet here.

Because it was relatively central within the Severe Illness Area, there were no guards.

Once Wen Xishu controlled Zhou Fei to arrive here, the progress was halted.

Zhou Fei couldn’t open the door, and Chris couldn’t get out.

But then Wen Xishu’s outstanding operation also came. Wen Xishu began to forcibly switch roles.

Generally speaking, switching roles only appears when a character is in a safe state. But it happened previously, when Chris entered the confinement chamber, necessitating an emergency switch.

Back then, Wen Xishu was still thinking about ensuring Britney’s safety, not switching urgently, and rather had Britney return to her room.

Thus, Wen Xishu understood, if you don’t ensure the character’s safety, you can switch at will.

Wen Xishu forcibly switched to Chris’s perspective.

Inside the confinement chamber, all was pitch black.

Yet Wen Xishu suddenly spoke:

”Zhou Fei. You’ve come.”

At this moment, Zhou Fei was in a state of having just completed a ”peculiar experience.”

Earlier, Wen Xishu learned that the three characters had their own wills. In times of significant emotional fluctuation, they could even temporarily suppress the will of Wen Xishu, the controller.

Zhou Fei was very surprised now; he had somehow arrived from the Moderate Illness Area to the confinement chamber in the Severe Illness Area under the control of that will...

And someone inside the Severe Illness Room actually knew him?

Zhou Fei felt as though—

Pretending to sleepwalk, but seemingly walking so long that he was really sleepwalking.

This place had serious issues. His body seemed implanted with certain wills… He was seemingly starting to merge with something.

It could even control his behavior.
