Three Towers Game

Because of what I experienced, it was Deceit Tower transferring to Desire Tower through the invitation.

In other words, because everything in Deceit Tower is so similar to Desire Tower, it seems like a future version of Desire Tower. But in reality, Wen Xishu did not come from the future to the past.

He merely transferred from Deceit Tower to Desire Tower.

And whenever a change happens in Desire Tower, the Three Towers automatically simulate the timeline. This is a variable outside of Pisces, a force even the Pisces cannot match.

To be exact, this is something all the Twelve Constellations must abide by—the rules of the Three Towers game.

”No need to worry, if the source is the future, then a grandfather paradox would occur... but the game I experienced has its source in Desire Tower. Oh, you don’t know what Desire Tower is, do you? I’ll explain it to you later, but Horn, we’ve got to go!”

Horn said:

”So you’re saying... your plan is to escape the Ark? You’re all Ability Users, right?”

Sirius said:

”Horn, don’t worry, my ability can take you with us, staying on the Ark is hopeless.”

Wen Xishu’s heart sank.

Oh no…

Horn shook his head and said:

”You mean you’re planning to escape, that’s fine, since the future me is willing to tell you my secret... then the future me must trust you absolutely.”

”But I can’t abandon the Ark!”

If one day Albert is asked to abandon the Bunker, Albert might agree, but if he’s asked to abandon everyone in the Bunker?

Then his efforts would be meaningless.

Horn was in such a situation at that moment, so Wen Xishu could completely understand.

”Horn, we don’t have much time, if the Captain and Von Neumann notice, the unrest is just to lure the snake out of its hole... then all our efforts will be in vain.”

Horn shook his head:

”You have no idea how long this unrest has been orchestrated, how many people had to be sacrificed, they started the unrest to attract the Captain’s attention, because they believed in what kind of future...”

”And now, you want me to leave after they made their resolve and sacrifices?”

Time is really running out, Wen Xishu knew, convincing Horn to abandon rescuing the Ark was a very difficult task.

Wen Xishu sighed:

”Apologies, Horn.”

As Wen Xishu spoke, he was about to raise his hand for a karate chop, but Horn instantly saw through Wen Xishu’s intention:

”You’re destroying my dream.”

That sentence made Wen Xishu freeze.

Horn’s gaze, at that moment, was exactly like Albert’s:

”I don’t know why the future version of me trusts you… but I think that must be because I admire you, and you respect me as well.”

”I cannot abandon the people of the Ark. Perhaps your world has your answer. But for me, the Ark is the existence I want to turn into the correct answer.”

Suddenly, Wen Xishu wanted to knock Horn out and take him away.

Let Sirius take Horn and run far away, or go back to the guide, send out Dingdong’s Reply Letter, and let Ding Dong find them both.

But in doing so, wouldn’t Horn’s heart suffer immensely?

If Horn really had no emotions, as he initially claimed, and was merely simulating human emotions… a purely rational existence, then Wen Xishu would act.

But Wen Xishu knew very well that Horn was not devoid of emotions.

Wen Xishu also knew very well that he himself was never the villain he claimed to be.

”Damn it, Horn! Do you know what you’re up against if you stay? You’re just an ordinary person...”

You’re just an ordinary person, how could you possibly defeat beings like the Captain and Von Neumann?

The words hung in Wen Xishu’s mouth, but he stopped.

Because Horn just shook his head silently:

”I have to stay. You guys should go, I believe that what I’m doing is absolutely right, I believe that your departure will have a great impact in the future.”

”But I have to save the Ark, this is the meaning of my life, and it’s a cause I’m willing to die for.”

The Evil Sea Giant Beast no longer lay hidden, and the crimson sea mist once again shrouded the gigantic Ark.

The Sea Beast attacked again, and this also made Von Neumann and the others realize something was wrong.

There’s really not much time left. Sirius also began to fleshify the bulkhead, opening a passageway, this passageway led into the body of the Evil Sea Giant Beast.

The Evil Sea Giant Beast would collide with the Ark, and the point of impact would merge with Sirius’s fleshification, which would be the exit for escaping the Ark.

Wen Xishu knew he had to be decisive, but he was facing the most difficult decision he had ever made.

Should he do what’s best for his friend and take him away, or should he trust this friend, allowing him to fight for a future that seems almost impossible to achieve?
