Three Towers Game

”I’m telling you this because I need to explain that after the ninetieth floor, each level has specific rules.”

”I’m so familiar with the ninety-sixth floor that I could tell at a glance... The guide didn’t let me ascend, but I already got the hints. As you know, in the Three Towers game, there are always some special cues telling you how far you’ve come in this game.”

”The areas on the ninety-seventh floor... weren’t open. So I went back to question the guide, and the guide finally agreed to open the ninety-seventh floor.”

Wen Xishu asked:

”So... did you really see the ninety-seventh floor this time?”

Albert nodded:

”Yes, I’ve reached the true ninety-seventh floor. It’s bearable. It seems compared to the ninety-sixth floor... the monsters in this area are even more ferocious, with higher degrees of mutation.”

”Some monsters can’t be killed with a single punch, it’s really troublesome.”

Wen Xishu once again smiled silently.

Can’t be killed with a single punch...

So this is your journey through the tower? Now that I think about it, if Albert’s attributes could be carried to the Desire Tower or the Deceit Tower...

It would be just like a Long Aotian fantasy story.

”Ninety-seventh floor is enough for me to stay a long time, but the difficulty hasn’t increased to an absurd level.”

”It’s just that the monster kill requirements on the ninety-seventh floor are very high... I feel okay about the difficulty, but I’m not optimistic about my lifespan...”

”Hahahahaha...”

Albert laughed.

The two of them had already reached the seventeenth floor, the top level of the bunker.

This place is like the forbidden grounds of an ancient palace.

Wen Xishu said:

”No problem, long life and hundred...”

After thinking about it, this expression seems off. If Albert only lived to a hundred, it would be too little.

”Eternal life~” Wen Xishu corrected himself.

Albert shook his head:

”Lifespan has its limitations. Right, did you catch the main point I wanted to make?”

Wen Xishu pondered slightly and roughly understood what Albert was trying to say:

”You mean... the guide, and the number of monsters on the ninety-seventh floor, are dragging you down?”

Albert praised:

”Smart, yes. I have a feeling whether it’s the guide or the exaggerated kill count on the ninety-seventh floor... they’re all delaying our steps to the top.”

”Do you know what kind of feeling the Three Towers and the bunker give me?”

Wen Xishu earnestly said:

”Please enlighten me.”

Albert looked at a distant palace, which was a ’Healing House’, a level six facility.

Staying inside can delay aging and increase lifespan.

But Albert wouldn’t waste time inside, so he didn’t understand why Old Jin would fall into staying there all the time.

The two walked towards the Healing House, and Albert answered:

”It’s the cage of trapped beasts.”

Wen Xishu pondered for a moment, seemingly understanding the meaning behind that sentence. Albert continued:

”If there were a group of people, and they’re in trouble, as long as there’s an escape route, they’d feel there’s no need to fight for their lives.”

”Not many people are willing to burn their bridges. Only when people are pushed to the brink do they realize they need to fight back.”

”In my view, the bunker is that kind of thing. It makes people unaware they’re in dire straits.”

”Of course, my thoughts are extreme. The bunker is definitely more beneficial than harmful. We also used the bunker to change many things... yet I always feel people are too complacent. If only everyone worked as hard as you.”

But Albert thought about it, and perhaps it’s better not to be like Wen Xishu:

”Hmm... just slightly lazier than you would be good.”

Wen Xishu took it as a compliment. But he was also contemplating Albert’s words.

To Wen Xishu, the bunker and the Three Towers seem... quite complex in what they present.

For Albert, the various expansions and changes in the bunker make people feel comfortable.

But the bunker did indeed give people a way out.

The top floor of the Three Towers... makes Albert feel like progress is dragging his steps. Yet the Three Towers also empowered many people like Wen Xishu, Xun Hui, Wenren Mirror.

Wen Xishu thought carefully and said:

”The Three Towers and the bunker have their pros and cons... it’s like a group of people fighting, a composite product created by people with different stances.”

Albert agreed:

”That’s right.”

At this moment, the two had reached the door of the ’Healing House’.

Albert shouted:

”Get out here, Old Jin!”

Upon hearing Albert speak casually to the highest authority of the bunker, Wen Xishu was already used to it. This is Albert’s style.

The shout of ’get out here’ almost echoed throughout the seventeenth floor.

After the ninetieth floor, a certain percentage of Three Towers attributes is required, and this percentage increases with each floor.

It’s hard to imagine just what a terrifying character Albert is.

Wen Xishu only felt...

This roar seemed to spread like a storm.

But then, Wen Xishu heard a sigh.

”Ah, you’re here again, Albert.”

The voice wasn’t as old as Wen Xishu imagined. Even... it sounded like a middle-aged man’s voice.

There’s no denying that the Healing House indeed has its merits.

”Don’t force me to tear down your house, you old fart, come out to see me or open the door and let me in.”

Evidently, the person sighing was Mr. Jin.

Mr. Jin said:

”My dear friend, Albert, anger hurts the body. You should be like me, hiding in the Healing House.”

Albert was so angry his beard bristled:

”Old Jin! Today I’ve brought a youngster here, he’s my companion.”
