Three Towers Game

For Sirius, it was just escaping from the conspiracy of Pisces, only to enter the schemes of Scorpio.

So this massive chessboard might even have been created by Sirius, except — the real mastermind behind it is Scorpio.

”Your ability seems to be something many people covet, this ability to create scenarios...”

Wen Xishu sighed.

Soon, Albert received his orders, and his action gauge was refilled.

”The other side isn’t foolish. If I come to break someone out of prison, they will definitely guess it’s for someone important.”

”Let’s go.”

Wen Xishu felt the scenes around him start to change continuously.

This feeling was quite familiar to him.

About ten seconds later, the surroundings finally stopped shifting crazily and returned to calm.

What appeared before Wen Xishu was a church.

Albert had seized the church, and its color changed from red to blue.

This also meant Albert had defeated the Priest here.

However, due to mismatch in traits... the church couldn’t provide its special properties to the conqueror.

But it’s not important; even without geographical advantage, Albert can easily defeat the church’s original holder.

”This is it, start your journey.”

Wen Xishu always felt that, no matter what, the information he had showed Leo as extraordinarily powerful...

Since the old headmaster has entered, there will inevitably be a showdown with Leo.

”I really want to see the outcome before leaving,” Wen Xishu sighed.

Albert understood what he meant:

”Hahahahaha, if we win, you can leave assuredly. If we lose... do you plan not to use that invitation letter?”

”Hahahahaha, there’s no such easy thing.”

Wen Xishu nodded.

Albert, however, shook his head and said:

”Have you considered that the invitation from Scorpio isn’t used without your knowledge but rather with your knowledge.”

”When you pass through these time nodes, your future self already has these memories...”

”Yet, despite this, he still chooses to use the invitation.”

”In other words, your future self knows the content of the invitation, that Scorpio wants you to fight Leo. But you still activate it.”

”This means the future isn’t as hopeless as you imagine. Or perhaps... Leo must be fought. Maybe not because of Scorpio, but because of someone else.”

”I hope, when you reach this point in the future, you won’t be cowardly.”

Wen Xishu remained silent. If there were an enemy that must be fought, his character would indeed do whatever it takes to destroy this enemy.

Wen Xishu finally nodded:

”I understand.”

Albert waved his hand dramatically:

”Take your mission and hurry away, I believe you won’t let us be defeated here.”

Though well aware that the old headmaster is strong, but that is Leo...

Wen Xishu’s departure wasn’t decisive.

Yet he ultimately, under the guidance of the Compass, found an exit in the church.

As he was about to leave, Wen Xishu glanced back at Albert.

The old headmaster’s back was towering, like the backbone of an era.

...

...

Chaotic thoughts surged in his mind.

The tides, the roars of the Sea Beast, the immense pressure... all made Wen Xishu feel uneasy.

Having gone through several nodes, there were still risks in the next few nodes... but Wen Xishu always managed to arrive safely.

”Don’t let your guard down,” came the voice of Sirius.

Of course, Wen Xishu didn’t let his guard down.

In truth, the previous nodes... none of them were easy to navigate.

If he were not Wen Xishu, if someone else were trying to break Sirius out—

Then even the very first three nodes would be extremely perilous.

The first doesn’t need to be mentioned, the second related to Wind City, but back then in Wind City, not to mention the mere one-sixth chance to choose the right path to Wind City, even if the choice was correct...

If it were someone else, Wind City might not even be open to them.

As for the third node—

It was even more extreme. If you didn’t know Nissen, normally speaking, with Nissen’s traits, so perfectly matched with a Prison Guardian...

They certainly wouldn’t abandon the prison.

Placed in others’ hands, they might have been dissolved in the prison already.

Wen Xishu indeed seemed like an anomaly outside time, always turning danger into safety.

Indeed, Wen Xishu continually pressed forward, constantly entering one escape point after another.

He was drawing closer to the real body of Sirius, closer to the original timeline...

In the ensuing process, Wen Xishu experienced several different beginnings, aside from the initial ”food,” the second round as a ”fugitive,” and the third round as a ”prisoner” — Wen Xishu also went through ”assassin,” ”infiltrator,” ”imposter,” and other nodes.

A timeline requiring the assassination of a specific target to escape.

A timeline requiring stealth to escape unnoticed.

A timeline requiring one to blend in through disguise to escape...

These nodal timelines were also filled with danger, but Wen Xishu successfully passed them all.

In these timelines, Wen Xishu didn’t meet any acquaintances, and the information he gathered was limited, but he managed to proceed smoothly.

Sirius could also sense it... the timeline is very close.

In the later nodes, some familiar nodes for Sirius began to appear, ones he explored during his imprisonment.

In other words, the escape route had reached its latter half.

The first half was cleared by Wen Xishu himself, while Sirius was familiar with the second half.
