Three Towers Game

Wen Xishu switched over to Britney the Benevolent.

...

...

The perspective changed once again.

The dark confinement room, the dimly lit ward, all vanished.

In their place was the bright sunlight. It was already afternoon, through the window, Wen Xishu saw the warm afternoon sun, feeling a sense of déjà vu from a past life.

But soon, he saw people in patient gowns, playing and frolicking in the yard.

The old man selling tea was among them too.

However, like the others, the old man selling tea had a different style of patient gown.

Wen Xishu stood up at this moment, only to realize that his style was different from the people around him.

The ”quasi-Good People” around him wore striped uniforms. At first glance, they looked more like prisoners than patients.

Britney’s clothes, although also patient attire, were completely without stripes.

Just pure white.

”I didn’t notice last time; it was really an oversight... Is it a role issue? It seems I can only maintain full-power thinking while in Zhou Fei?”

Wen Xishu was truly not used to this state, as if he had been split into three people, each with distinctly different characteristics.

He began to control Britney, walking out of the room. As he passed by a dressing mirror, Wen Xishu examined closely.

This was unlike the blurry image quality when switching roles; now he could truly feel Britney’s beauty.

He had to admit, Britney was like a person in a painting, even if just casually looking into a mirror.

Wen Xishu thought that young Evelyn was probably on the same level of attractiveness as Wenren Mirror.

So far, Wen Xishu had not encountered such a level of handsome men and beautiful women.

But Britney was very close to their level.

”With this appearance, she’d definitely be an ace at Desire Tower.”

Wen Xishu looked elsewhere.

In the Mild Illness Area, or the ”quasi-Good People” zone, it was rare to see Good People in high-status white coats.

Most were ”quasi-Good People.” Yes, most were.

The last time that child didn’t move their lips while reciting the disciple rules, they were targeted by a white coat.

In the end, it was under Wen Xishu’s control of Britney that the white coat let the child off.

Based on this information, Wen Xishu was sure there were still real humans here.

However, why these real humans were here was something Wen Xishu found perplexing.

”Perhaps the Good People Hall retains some real humans just for character modification, using electric shocks, oppression, intimidation... to make real humans obedient and submissive, but not parasitic. The purpose is probably to keep samples?”

Wen Xishu noticed that in the yard, the Good People seemed to be playing and frolicking, laughter occasionally breaking out, making the atmosphere of the Mild Illness Area not as oppressive as the Severe Illness Area, nor as eerie as the Moderate Illness Area.

But if closely observed, one would find… this laughter appeared now and then, with no changes in volume or tone.

The disciple rules and similar texts were recited in a mechanical tone, as if they were code being written into their minds.

But among them, a few people appeared natural, capable of thinking, frowning when they couldn’t recall what to recite at times.

These few were the real humans.

Almost all were children.

And whenever these children made any errors… they would immediately attract many gazes.

It could be said that the few eerie feelings in the Mild Illness Area originated from the collective actions of the Good People.

When the true humans, these children, did not adhere to order, the Good People would collectively and uniformly turn their heads towards the children.

”These ’Good People’ aren’t playing; they are in the final ’adjustment,’ trying to become more like real humans.”

Wen Xishu recalled his recent experiences controlling Zhou Fei and Chris.

Only continuous thinking could suppress the worm inside, which also meant that only a brain that had ceased thinking was the ”paradise” these worms preferred.

”To turn humans into Good People, besides implanting worm eggs, it seems necessary to gradually make them befuddled.”

”This carries a connotation that benevolence equates to ignorance.”

The Good People Hall sounds like a name from Longxia, though it is uncertain in which city this Good People Hall is located.

”Without the Bunker players, this city’s in a terrible plight… Sooner or later, these Good People will fully parasitize everyone in the city.”

”It’s maybe already quite extreme now, and in a more pessimistic view, this city might already contain many Good People, disguising themselves and acting as humans.”

When Wen Xishu manipulated Britney out of the room and into the yard…

”They” all simultaneously turned toward Britney.

However, unlike the way they looked at the children… these gazes were exceedingly greedy.

With Britney’s graceful figure and top-tier looks, being examined by others should be a common occurrence. As a beautiful woman, one must adapt to being the center of attention.

But then, Wen Xishu felt an intense discomfort.

Britney’s sense of discomfort also transmitted to Wen Xishu. Under this stimulation, some new memories unlocked.

”Playful Britney,” ”Social Experiment,” ”Magic City’s Latest Real Human Experiment Show,” ”Good People’s Favorite Program”…

These titled memories popped into Wen Xishu’s mind one after another.

Regarding Britney, Wen Xishu remembered her as a language teacher who began feeling depressed after her parents recently passed away.

She came from a wealthy family and was very playful as a child, aside from being playful, she had no other faults and loved helping others…
