Three Towers Game

Chapter 98: Chapter 63 Reverse 7_2

But even with such severe side effects, Wen Xishu still felt this item was quite a bug.

Because during its effective period, it was indeed a highly useful tool for gathering intelligence on the Desire Tower.

He took the necklace, and Jabbar instructed:

”Wenren Mirror said he hopes it will help you, but please do not use it on kind-hearted people. He hopes you can find true friendship even inside the Three Towers.”

Wen Xishu nodded:

”Thank him for me, he’s truly a generous person.”

Jabbar smiled:

”I’ll convey your thanks to him. Well, Wen, I think it’s time for me to leave now. I will lock the office so that no one other than me and the principal can enter.”

Jabbar shook hands with Wen Xishu to say goodbye, then he walked out of the principal’s office and closed the door:

”Wish you academic success.”

After Jabbar left, Wen Xishu activated the login device.

The watch engraved with a double helix pattern once again clenched onto Wen Xishu’s wrist, and a familiar voice echoed in his mind.

[Welcome to the Three Towers Game, you are about to enter the resting area.]

[Based on your sixth-level completion in normal order challenges, the maximum level you can currently reach is 10. The fluctuation value is 3 to 10. But you can also go to the Three Towers guide to choose a Three Towers downgrading (for detailed rules, please consult the Three Towers guide.)]

[Special item ’Hallucination Dice’ detected. Do you wish to roll?]

Wen Xishu was surprised, is this already advancing himself?

The impact of sixth-level completion is indeed high. Normally, as long as you complete tasks within the first to seventh levels seven times, regardless of the completion level, you will advance and earn the qualification to challenge higher levels.

However, achieving sixth-level completion only requires one time to advance. But the prerequisite is normal order challenges.

Obviously, the ”Three Highs” of Hallucination Dice do not count as normal order. Although he cleared the twenty-first level Jack’s Mysterious Tower in Mo’en City, it was not included in the advancement evaluation.

Wen Xishu naturally wasn’t interested in the tasks of the first and second levels. He calmly accepted his advancement and, for the third time, rolled the Hallucination Dice.

This time the numbers were special: 2, 3, 4.

[1: Good things come in pairs (Triggered when at least two of the three dice show even numbers. Effect: +1 to choices, and this choice does not consume choice times)]

[2: Smooth (Triggered when three dice show consecutive numbers. Effect: Your actions in the Three Towers will become exceptionally smooth. Manifested as: combat skill consumption in the Slaughter Tower is halved, combat skill release speed is increased, and you won’t need to light a bonfire to reduce Slaughter Value in a short time. The need for Anti-Magic Value is greatly reduced, and Luck Value is greatly increased.)]

[3: Three births to all things (Triggered when at least one dice shows three and the sum is a multiple of three. Effect: When the number of equipped items is three or multiple of three, their effects will be enhanced. Including special items, invalid items, only counting the number of items used in the item slot)]

[4: Two-step combo (Triggered when three dice show consecutive numbers and two numbers are even. Effect: You can simultaneously use rules from two different towers)]

[5: Quality enhancement (Triggered when there are two prime numbers among the three dice. Effect: Reward for completion, if there’s an item or sequence and facility, one of them will trigger quality enhancement, improving the grade)]

Wen Xishu couldn’t help but marvel at the little three dice containing so many cheating mechanisms.

This time, with good things come in pairs, it was essentially four out of two selection.

But unlike the last time, he liked all four options this time.

Let’s not talk about Smooth, with Smooth combined with his current Anti-Magic Value, many things in the Deceit Tower could be revealed at a glance.

Three births to all things was also desirable because, counting Tang Rui’s letter, he had exactly three items.

Two-step combo wasn’t as good as the Strength of Three, but using Slaughter Tower or Deceit Tower items and abilities in the Desire Tower was also very significant.

Quality enhancement speaks for itself. If he acquired sixth-level completion, quality enhancement might give him something that should have been a seventh-level completion reward.

All four options were good, all supermodel, all desirable.

But unfortunately, he couldn’t make an adult choice.

”Looking at it now, though Three births to all things is great, I’m already satisfied with item effects, excluding it for now.”

”Next is three out of two. Assuming I can clear the level, quality enhancement must be one, especially since Mr. Liu said the facilities brought back must be high quality to be directly placed.”

”Exploring Desire Tower, Luck Value isn’t that significant at my current level. If I can find the invitation, great. Slaughter Value is unknown, but it seems reaching the limit triggers adverse reactions.”

”Anti-Magic Value... I already have 15 points, though I can’t decrypt everything, I can decode parts at lower levels.”

”So, Smooth is really good but not absolutely necessary.”

Wen Xishu ultimately chose Two-step combo and Quality enhancement.

It was quite painful for him, he chose very hesitantly, if he could choose again, he couldn’t guarantee it would be the same choice.

”It’s a pity, Hallucination Dice is a special mechanism item, completely different from items occupying the item slot.”

”If the item enhancement mechanism of Hallucination Dice could enhance Hallucination Dice itself...”

Wen Xishu’s thought at the moment resembled wishing for multiple wishes with seven dragon balls.

His thoughts were quickly interrupted—

As the scene before him began to construct.

At this moment, he heard the prompt for the new task.

[You have gradually discovered that an apocalypse will descend at a time node. You also found that a few people are changing, most haven’t noticed. But exceptions exist, some people who aren’t destined to evolve detect clues before the apocalypse.]

[They gather, revel, start to love each other. Gradually, they begin to know about the apocalypse in advance and prepare for it. With their efforts, a pillar-like building called Miracle Apartments was born.]

[Seven families broken in that apartment, seven people will die mysteriously. A plan called ’Reverse Seven’ is born in that apartment.]

[Let’s reverse time to seven days before it all happened. As an investigator, you live next door to one of those families. Explore the apartment as much as possible and survive the next seven days or be swallowed by the apartment.]

[But we still hope, with your remarkable performance, you can find the demon hidden deep within the crowd.]

The seventh level, Reverse Seven operation, survive seven days, seven families, seven deaths...

”Everything is related to seven.”

Wen Xishu’s immediate reaction to Reverse Seven reminded him of a certain number seven forward player who masterfully overturns adverse situations.

However, this clearly had nothing to do with any sport.

”I feel this task is different from the previous two.”

Wen Xishu certainly thought so, the previous two tasks were tied to a poor soul. On the surface for survival, fundamentally for redemption.

But this task was eerie because it mentioned the word ’demon’.

Wen Xishu soon appeared in the Deceit Tower resting area.

This time, he was at the Celestial Essence position. Most people exploring the Deceit Tower need seven complete explorations of the first to seventh levels to advance.

The probability was very low, few could achieve it. Many unlucky ones directly assigned to the seventh level for their first exploration.

There were many people at the Celestial Essence position, over a hundred on their first tower entry going directly to the seventh level.

Unlike his previous resting area being desolate, this time, those in the Celestial Essence Region seemed very excited heading to the seventh level.

”Oh, young one, what mistake led you here! May the great Saint Wen bless you!”

Wen Xishu appeared and was immediately spoken to.

Hearing the name Saint Wen, Wen Xishu felt a peculiar sensation. He thought of something and his guess was confirmed the next second.

The person who approached Wen Xishu was a bald man with a full beard, seemingly Russian descent. He spoke quite familiarly:

”Could you tell me about the task area you’re heading to? Perhaps someone among us can accompany you. With followers of Xishu Divine Teaching with you, your tower journey will surely turn misfortune to fortune!”
