Three Towers Game

Chapter 85: Chapter Fifty Eight: True Charm and False Charm

Wen Xishu was somewhat surprised. Yue Yun’s linking ability was indeed stronger than Zheng Zai’s.

This ability isn’t about deductive reasoning, but combining two seemingly unrelated things through intuition and imagination.

Wen Xishu said:

”It’s just a coincidence. You don’t think I, Wen, am that Wen, do you? As for the special courses... well, I can’t tell you.”

”What about you two? How was your first class?”

For questions that shouldn’t be answered, Wen Xishu thought there was no need for an excuse.

Yue Yun didn’t dwell on it too much and said:

”The first class was just an orientation, some rules, a bit of school history, some basic knowledge about the Slaughter Tower, and a physical test.”

Wen Xishu asked:

”How was it? With your exceptional physical qualities, you must have topped the physical test, right?”

Yue Yun’s face turned frosty as he said deeply:

”That guy named Miyamoto Yishu came first, I came third, and Nissen came second.”

Nissen also said:

”Anyone with ’shu’ in their name seems to be impressive, but he looks like a little jerk.”

Miyamoto Yishu? Wen Xishu noted the name down. To have a physical fitness that surpassed Nissen and Yue Yun’s was quite unexpected for Wen Xishu.

Nissen said:

”This guy has low standards. Although he’s very capable, he’s too pretentious. Xiaoyun and I will eventually bring him down!”

Yue Yun simply said:

”He’s from the Miyamoto Family, rumored to be one of the six major families under the Elder Council, like the Xun Family. Even though they can go to the Desire Tower, they emphasize battle achievements and send their young members to the Slaughter Tower for training.”

”He’s indeed very strong, physically stronger than both me and Nissen. It might be because... he has a sequence.”

”I’m not making excuses for being inferior to him, but that speed isn’t humanly possible.”

”He’s also very arrogant.”

As Yue Yun said this, he clenched his fist:

”Now it’s a credit system, and he said he wants to double the credits of the second-placed person.”

This statement hit Yue Yun, who aimed to be the top, hard, as it implied that everyone else was contesting for the second place.

Therefore, Yue Yun was very dissatisfied.

But Yue Yun had no way out. He rarely said this much.

According to Wen Xishu’s understanding of Bi Wang Yueyun, this guy always pointed at his nose with his index finger and said in a deep voice, ”I need to work hard” or ”I need to surpass.”

This time, it seemed that Miyamoto Yishu really struck a nerve with Yue Yun. A genius from the lower regions, coming to an academy filled with geniuses, often went through this phase.

Wen Xishu didn’t care at all. If what Albert said was true...

Exploring the Deceit Tower could earn double credits, meaning he was already far ahead.

He just hoped that when the time came, his two roommates, especially Bi Wang Yueyun, wouldn’t be too severely impacted.

He wasn’t interested in Miyamoto Yishu’s strength but was very curious about the six major families.

Because not long ago, in a conversation with Albert, he mentioned that someone from one of the six major families would contact him later.

...

...

Let’s go back to a day earlier.

After successfully returning to the Bunker, Wen Xishu soon encountered Albert’s assistant, Jabbar.

It was as if Jabbar knew exactly when Wen Xishu would return from the Three Towers and came to deliver a message to Wen Xishu not long after he returned.

This 1.5-meter-tall assistant led Wen Xishu to a garden in the Desire Tower Academy District, where he met Albert.

Albert was playing chess, playing alone.

Wen Xishu happened to want to chat with Albert. He hoped Albert could pay some attention to Zheng Zai to prevent him from being too troubled.

At the same time, he wanted to do someone a favor. A favor for someone from the Wenren Family among the six major families.

He briefly recounted his experiences, focusing on what he had acquired.

”You mean you brought back a building called ’Capsize Cabin,’ hahaha, what an interesting name. This facility sounds fascinating, I must try it out and see how it capsizes.”

After listening to Wen Xishu, Albert let out his trademark hearty laugh.

”As for that kid named Zheng Zai you mentioned, I won’t be keeping an eye on him. Although he managed to clear the Deceit Tower on his own and earned a Level 4 reward, he doesn’t interest me. But someone will protect him.”

Albert still showed his respect for Wen Xishu.

He had a premonition that Wen Xishu would return, but he didn’t expect him to come back with Level 6 materials and facilities again.

The thing that entertained Albert the most was Wen Xishu placing the entertainment facility next to the Level 6 facility hospital.

This kid had a mind of his own.

Although he couldn’t go against the high-levels of the Bunker, he definitely didn’t fully comply with them either, always finding ways to irritate them occasionally.

You should know, the high-levels of the Bunker had never considered allocating Level 3 and above entertainment facilities to the second tier of the Bunker.

Wen Xishu said:

”I don’t really know what the Capsize Cabin is. The guide told me I’d come into a substantial fortune, but I don’t know how to monetize it.”

Albert said:

”Take some time to check out the Capsize Cabin, and you’ll find out. I think that place will have the answers.”

”Additionally, Liu Jinsen and Sha Ruijing have already started the second round of grand publicity for you. As for the facilities, we’ll see the effectiveness.”

”But Level 6 materials can sustain an entire tier of people.”

”The name Wen Xishu will carry more weight, at least on the lower tiers. If you have the chance to visit the lower tiers, you’ll realize how people there see you.”
