THE GOD EATER

After the auction ended, he went to meet a divine being in the second heaven. He gave the divine being the world essence and he was given the location of the two small worlds.

The two parties went their separate ways after that. Loki didn’t attack the person because he had signed a contract enforced by the Four Directions Sect that he wouldn’t do something like that.

He didn’t mind that he couldn’t attack the person, though. Since he was gaining something else that couldn’t be blocked by the contract, he felt as if he had come out of this transaction on top.

As he left the second heaven for the location of the two small worlds, he said to himself with a smile, ’They are the first and second worlds, right? Next time, I’ll buy the third and fourth small worlds. After that, I will buy the fifth and sixth small worlds.”

”I wonder what the seer will do when the small worlds he had prepared for an auction suddenly disappear. Will he stop the auction, or will he find more small worlds to replace the missing ones?”

The prospect of taking advantage of the information he has acquired to cheat the seer filled him with a feeling of anticipation. It brought a smile to his face just thinking about it, so he was sure that he would enjoy the process.

The sight of the two small worlds only made him smile wider. This was because the two small worlds were untouched worlds full of life and with world kings protecting them. The presence of the world kings meant that he would gain two Divine Metacs without stress.

After assimilating the two small worlds, he went to assimilate the four small worlds that the Thorn House of Commerce had prepared for him. Just like before, they had done some tricks on the four small worlds.

In fact, the tricks were worse this time around because not only did they remove most living beings from the four small worlds, but they also burned the four small worlds to make sure that there was nothing living left, either plants or animals.

Other than the world guardians, there was practically no other significant living thing in the four small worlds. At any other divine being would be angry, but Loki only chuckled.

After assimilating the four small worlds, his Cave Heaven finally crossed 1.2 billion square kilometers. This is a big deal because it is close to the 1.4 billion square kilometers that he had two timelines ago, after more than two years of hunting.

He gained this much in less than three months since he awakened because he hunted six money cultivators, not three like he usually did, because he hunted two rank 7 cultivators, not one, and because he gained two extra small worlds through the auction.

However, the fact that he didn’t hunt a lot of divine beings to gain what he has also meant that he was lacking in depth in terms of Divine Metacs.

To be specific, by the time his Cave Heaven became 1,418 million square kilometers in size, he had also gained 31 Divine Metacs. But even though he killed three more money cultivators, hunted more rank 7 cultivators, and assimilated two more small worlds, he only has 24 Divine Metacs.

So not only does he have a smaller Cave Heaven than he had at his peak two timelines ago, but he also has fewer Divine Metacs. However, not everything is so bad.

He had called down a total of four Divine Positions, which means he can now of his power without exposing his secret. So the effective power that he can use in public might be equal to or greater than the power he could display in public at his peak.

Since what he was going to do was going to be witnessed by a lot of people, he felt that the ability to show a lot of power in public without drawing more trouble to himself was a good thing. He was thinking about this as he made his way to the first heaven.

On his way there, he said to himself, ’I am ready now. As long as the Dao Lord doesn’t come out to smite me for being greedy and rank 8 cultivators don’t come out to stop me, I should be able to get the heart of the medium world.’

’It is a medium world anyway. It shouldn’t attract rank 8 cultivators. The sect should mobilize at most rank 7 cultivators to stop me. And since I’m rank 6, they should underestimate me a little bit.’

He was ready to fight, and he was ready to be victorious in the fight. Unfortunately, he wasn’t destined to have any of these.

When he got to the medium world, he found no one protecting the medium world. Loki couldn’t sense any divine being around the medium world in the first dimension, but he refused to believe that there was no one protecting the medium world, so he went into the second dimension to check.

After checking around in the second dimension, he still didn’t find any defender. So he went into the third dimension to look and be sure that the situation was clear.

As soon as he entered the third dimension, he found the protectors of the medium world. There were five divine beings watching the medium worlds. So on the surface, the medium world looked unprotected, but this was not the case.

The five divine beings also saw him and were very surprised to see him.

The one from the Four Directions Sect, Monarch Astra Body, who was a woman, frowned and said to him, ”What are you doing here?”

Before he could reply, Monarch Talisman Paper said with exasperation, ”Please, don’t tell me that you want to take the medium world.”

Monarch Bull Strength, who was another woman among the five of them, became excited when she heard that he could be here to take the medium world.
