The First Store System

Chapter 1599 Fighting with the Sickle(2)

Boom!

Once Aakesh felt he had stored enough flames, he released them. The next moment, a loud explosion rang in the area.

Just the released force knocked the fire out in the range of several hundred kilometers.

Roar!

The creature let out an angry roar as it didnʼt expect Aakesh to have such skill in his arsenal, but it couldnʼt give up after coming that far, so its body suddenly began to contract.

In no time, the creature had contracted to the same size as Aakesh, and at that time, fifteen of its sixteen eyes were closed, while the remaining one had sixteen pupils.

Aakeshʼs eyes shrank at a rapid rate as a bad feeling enveloped his heart. It was the first time Aakesh had felt such in that dayʼs training. He didnʼt waste any time and immediately unleashed the ultimate skill available to him in that round.

The next moment, a gigantic projection of a hooded creature appeared behind Aakesh, holding the sickle.

As Aakesh brought down the sickle, the projection followed. The next moment, both the material and physical sickles passed through the creature, causing no injury. It seemed the attack was an illusion, but when a horrified expression appeared on the enemyʼs face, it became clear that it wasnʼt an illusion.

The next moment, the creature was suddenly separated into countless pieces as they slid to the ground. What was strange was that there was not even a tiny drop of blood spilled from those numerous cuts.

At the same time, Aakeshʼs expression didnʼt look good. He was going through an unbearable wave of pain as his soul was cut into pieces at the price of the attack.

If not for the pain, the attack would have been one of Aakeshʼs favorites. It was an attack that disregarded everything and struck the enemy. Once the attack was unleashed, the enemy was bound to die even if they had higher cultivation.

But the stronger the reaction, the higher the cultivation. Since the enemy was only slightly higher than Aakesh, the pain disappeared after a while.

Immediately after that, time froze in the arena, and a green light enveloped Aakesh. Whatever spiritual and physical injury he had accumulated in the battle was immediately healed.

The familiar blue panel appeared, and Aakesh chose to go to the 565th level.

The next moment, Aakesh understood his chances of victory were nil after the creature appeared. It had not only grown ten times the size when it was already enormous in the last round. At the same time, the pressure that affected the soul was prevalent in every corner of the arena instantly after the creature appeared.

The power gap between the two sides had reached a level where even someone with the talent of Aakesh was helpless.

Ring!

The bell rang, and the battle began. Aakeshʼs senses could still catch up to the creature, but in no time, it became so fast that he could only see a blur.

Aakesh had lost the battle at that moment, and not long after a leg struck his head. His head immediately exploded like a watermelon.

The next moment, the silence in the waiting area broke down, and Aakesh emerged out of the space crack.

Lily and Khaval were already sitting on their chairs, waiting for him. A smile spread across his face, and he walked to them.

During the event, Panagea was closed, so Lily and Khaval had been with him for the entire day. The trio had done the same thing, but they still shared their experiences with each other following their daily tradition.

Once their conversation came to an end, they returned to the store, while a wave of silence and darkness enveloped the waiting area.

Since Panagea would open tomorrow morning, Lily and Khaval couldnʼt leave for Panagea.

”Should we go and check that ancient city?” Lily suggested as it had been several years since they last visited the city.

”You two go,” Aakesh replied. He had long lost interest in that city. Either things were too strong for his level, or they were too weak to even put in an effort.

Lily and Khaval nodded and then rushed out. Their cultivation had reached the Higher God level, so no one even noticed them. If not for them paying their entry fee, the guards wouldnʼt even know someone new had entered the city.

After the two left, Aakesh summoned his mat and sat in meditation. His cultivation was on the verge of reaching the Higher God level, so he immediately began absorbing energy from the purer, higher Sacred stone.

The stone could only help him for a moment before turning to ashes. Even for a minute of meditation, he required a lot of money. Fortunately, the store had a massive inflow of customers, and he earned a good amount of money every day.

Aakesh forgot the flow of time and immersed himself in the meditation.

[Host, the sun is about to rise.]

The systemʼs mechanical, emotionless voice rang in Aakeshʼs head, waking him up.

He exhaled a breath of energy and looked to his left. As expected, a screen was waiting for him. His absorption speed had finally grown after thirteen years.

At that rate, he would be able to cross the barrier and reach the Higher God level before the end of the current year.

Since it was time for the store to open its doors, Aakesh stood up and summoned the door to his room.

Aakesh climbed up the stairs and walked to his room. A few minutes later, Aakesh walked out and stepped down the stairs.

There were still a few minutes left, so Aakesh sat on his chair, waiting for that.

Ransh couldnʼt sleep the entire night due to excitement, so he came to the store mid-night and waited for its doors to open.

Even a year without sleep wouldnʼt affect True God level cultivators like him, so it was nothing to worry about.

As the sunrise approached, the people began to come and were surprised to see Ransh already waiting there for him. Many walked to him and began to have conversations.

Just like that, time passed, and the first ray of sunlight finally reached the surface, bringing the start to a new day.
