Chapter 1555: Breakthrough!

The entire city that seemed to have survived a horror apocalypse turned to ruins, with the blast range covering the entirety of the city. Only the bones of the Supreme God and above-level cultivators survived, and even they were thrown across the sky.

Aakesh, who had directly borne the brunt of the attack, was in no good condition either. His bones had become visible and were on the verge of completely melting.

The hair around his body had evaporated into nothingness, while one-fourth of his face had melted. If Lily and Khaval were to be here and see Aakesh in that condition, they were sure to go wild in rage.

His eyes still maintained their indifference as he stared at the sky. The clouds finally started disappearing, forcing Aakesh to breathe a sigh of relief.

His body was in no condition to face the next-level attack. He crashed to the ground, gasping for breath.

Every part of his body was severely injured, including his spirit. The pain he was feeling at that moment made that situation one of the worst experiences for him.

His eyelids had turned heavy, trying to fall unconscious, but he kept them open since the breakthrough wasnʼt complete yet.

The next moment, the clouds that had receded suddenly began to expand, causing a frown on his face. Fortunately for him, they werenʼt preparing for the next attack.

The inner world immediately left Aakeshʼs body and started floating above his head. The next moment, the clouds stopped expanding and started flying toward the inner world as if there was something immensely significant waiting for them.

Aakesh closed his eyes and focused on the inside of the inner world. After reaching the Divine Lord, the cultivatorʼs inner world became livable for life, but Aakesh received that honor when he was at the Divine Being Level.

Even the rule of the lifeforms beginning to cultivate once the inner world reached the True God level was broken by him, but since there was no life in the world, no such situation arose. The laws of the inner world had become powerful enough to allow cultivation, and as the clouds seeped inside the core, they began to expand at a crazy rate.

In only a few moments, Aakesh surpassed the size of Lilyʼs and Khavalʼs inner world, and it still seemed to be in only its starting phase.

As the world expanded, life automatically started to appear in the inner world. The time seemed to be flowing millions of times faster as generations after generations of different beast races appeared and died out.

The situation continued for several minutes and only stopped when the inner world had devoured every bit of the cloud. At that time, Aakeshʼs inner worldʼs radius was three hundred thousand miles, several times larger than Lily or Khavalʼs inner world.

Lily and Khaval were already immensely talented, so their inner world was the largest recorded area if anyone were to know about it, but Aakesh broke that record several times, showing his overwhelming talent over the two.

The inner world stopped growing, not because Aakesh had reached his limit. He could feel that he was still only starting.

The process only stopped because the laws had reached their limit and could no longer provide the energy for Aakesh to expand the inner world.

”Hey, system, should I continue to the next step?” Aakesh asked the system since it was responsible for his cultivation.

[Yes, Host, you seemed to have reached the limit. There is no possibility of going any further since that will alert the dimension to initiate the suspension trial, thinking of you as a lifeform from the Primordial Dimension.]

The systemʼs mechanical voice rang in Aakeshʼs head. He had thought of that but still asked the system since it had always exceeded his expectations.

But since there was no way of expanding the inner world any further due to reaching the limit, Aakesh had to stop at that. He couldnʼt face the suspension trial as that would force him to the Primordial Dimension, and that was not acceptable to him or the system.

The next moment, the sky above the destroyed city turned golden, and a gold ray of energy flew to the inner world. It was no longer expanding, but the insides were changing.

Aakesh had no intention of allowing any living being in his inner world, so he killed whatever lifeforms were born, and the golden energy strengthened the laws and durability of the inner world.

From the outside, his inner world looked like a paradise for living creatures since every corner of the world was rich in energy, allowing even a non-talented cultivator to reach the peak of the Divine Lord in no time.

The next moment, the inner world descended and returned to Aakesh. Immediately after that, the lifeform level started growing, and in a few moments, Aakesh breached the peak Divine Lord and stepped into the early True God cultivation level.

”Do you think he will succeed?” The man asked, drinking his tea.

It was the man who gave Aakesh the task of finding the stone for him since he had finally seen an opportunity to step into the Sacred Monarch level.

The city was once a known city that was destroyed by a Sacred Creator lifeform. If not for the ban set by that same creature, he would have personally entered to find the stone.

No one above the True God level could step into the city, and since the most dangerous creature in the city was a Lesser God, it was an extremely dangerous task.

”Why are you in such a hurry? It has only been a few hours since the man left.”

The leaderʼs wife responded with a gentle smile. She was the only person other than the leader to know about the stoneʼs details.

The others only knew that there was an item inside the city, and it had some chance of helping the man step to the next level. If others knew that the man had a complete chance of a breakthrough, the situation wouldnʼt have been that calm.

”I canʼt help myself,” The man smiled wryly. Despite living for numerous years, he still acted like an impatient child. But that was acceptable since the value of the item wasnʼt low.
