1595 Assistant’s Perks!

Chapter 1595: Assistantʼs Perks!

Ranshʼs family couldnʼt hold back their tears as they saw Ransh jumping up and down in excitement on the platform.

Due to him, their familyʼs fortune had completely changed. They werenʼt very aggressive since Ransh despised that kind of behavior, and his influence made the familyʼs members gentle toward the outside world.

”Ransh has become the contest winner, and he can become the storeʼs assistant if he wants to.”

Aakesh stood up and announced. He didnʼt stop there and announced the names of the other nine rankers as well.

From the fourth to tenth position, the participants had an equal number of successful defenses, so they also had to face the tiebreaker. It didnʼt take as long as the tiebreaker for the first three posts, but the rankings were found.

As a reward, Aakesh handed a card to every winner. The card looked the same from the outside, but the content written on it was different, describing the rewards they had received as per their ranks.

The ones with territory rewards needed to crush their cards in Panagea, and they would be teleported to their territory depending on their rewards. Those who won rewards related to beasts only needed to tap the reward card on their beast cards, and they would get it.

Those who received extra hours for Panagea wouldnʼt need to do anything. They just had to come to the store and enter Panagea like they had been. Until their extra hours are over, they wouldnʼt need to pay for Panagea.

(A/N: The rewarding hours are Sacred hours, not Panagea hours.)

Only Ransh didnʼt receive any reward card. He was instead asked to wait after the crowd left.

”The contest is over. Letʼs meet next year!”

Aakesh announced the end of the annual contest. The crowd then began to leave one after another.

A few minutes later, the storeʼs insides returned to normal as all the chairs and the platform disappeared. Only four people were inside the store: Aakesh, Lily, Khaval, and Ransh.

”Since you have decided to accept the assistantʼs job, I need to explain some things to you.”

Ransh nodded, and then his expression turned serious.

”There are some rules to follow if you want to keep working at the store:

(1.) The store assistant isnʼt allowed to use the storeʼs name for their personal situation at any cost.

(2.) The store assistant needs to keep their emotions in control. Even if you are serving your most hated enemy, you need to be calm in your answers.

(3.) The store assistant...”

Aakesh slowly explained a list of rulers while Ransh seriously listened, not ignoring even the silence between the words.

”Do you accept all the rules?”

Aakesh gently asked. It was the first time for Ransh to receive treatment like that from the store owner, and he liked it.

He didnʼt immediately answer but thought hardly about it. Becoming the storeʼs assistant was a job that one couldnʼt leave, but the rules stated by the store owner were very stringent.

”Yes, I accept all the rules,” Ransh responded after thinking about it deeply.

Even though the list of rules was long and some were too stringent, he still couldnʼt think of a single reason for giving up on his achievement.

If Ransh rejected the post after listening to all the rules, it didnʼt mean that his efforts in the contest would be wasted. In fact, if he refused the post, he would get the combined reward of what the second-ranked contestant received to the tenth one.

”The post of assistant isnʼt all about the rules. There are also perks for the employee…”

Aakesh then explained all the perks Ransh would receive if he accepted the job. His heart started beating loudly when he heard the first perk, and it continued till Aakesh spoke.

He also understood why the store owner only told him about the perks after he accepted all the rules. If he were aware of the perks, he wouldnʼt even think twice and immediately accept the post.

The most basic perk of the storeʼs assistant was the monthly salary, and it was an amount that could change the fate of an ordinary world, let alone him. He would receive a fixed sum of one thousand ultimate Sacred stones every month.

On top of that, he received a few more benefits related to the store products. The summoning cost reserved for the Beast Summoning pillar had become zero for him. He would receive free Primordial-level difficulty training for one hour every year. At the same time, he would also be given a cultivation art created for just him up to the Sacred Creator level.

Even if he somehow leaves the job in the future for some reason, he would still be able to cultivate to the best of his ability, as that benefit was linked to his life.

There werenʼt only store benefits for the storeʼs assistant. They would also receive some advantages outside the store.

The first external benefit was the residence provided by the store. What was even more shocking was the fact that the residence would be built of the same materials as the store.

The residence would have many more benefits in itself, which Ransh would need to see on his own.

But unlike the cultivation art, the residence didnʼt permanently belong to Ransh. If he ever decided to give up on this job, he wouldnʼt be able to step into that house. The building was linked to the post, not the post owner.

There were also benefits for Ranshʼs family as they were also allowed to live in the residence and could also use the benefits for themselves.

Unlike the Primal dimension, the system didnʼt provide attack or defensive cards for the assistant or their family. The cards allowed them to kill even the strongest Immortal there while defending against the strongest attack from the strongest being other than Void beasts.

The power difference in the Sacred dimension was way bigger than what was in the primal, and the same benefit couldnʼt be provided. Even Aakesh had to give up an endless amount of commission to receive a few attacks and defense devices with that ability.
