The First Store System

Chapter 926: Reward!

Alfred and Asher stood in front of the building and looked at the closed door with disappointed faces.

Knocking on the door with their status would be beneath them, so they didnʼt know what to do.

While Alfred and Asher were looking at the store with pondering faces, a crowd had gathered around them, with several people bowing.

The store owners or workers who were leaving after sunset also came there, wanting to know what could bring the city lord to this place.

”Should we come back tomorrow?” Asher asked. They werenʼt sure about the non-demonʼs status, so making an enemy out of him without knowing him would be a foolish idea.

”Yes, letʼs come back tomorrow!”

Alfred replied. He had the same thoughts as Asher, whereas he was even more uncomfortable about the non-demon since the store was in his city.

Unaware of what was going on outside the store, Aakesh was currently in conversation with the system.

Aakesh had completed the pill quest this morning, so it was now time for the rewards to get distributed.

A blue light suddenly covered the pill counter. It disappeared as quickly as it had arrived.

Aakesh looked at the pill counter, only to find five additional shelves on the first row.

Aakesh didnʼt waste any time and began to read the details of the newly obtained pills.

First-grade lesser Body Strengthening Pill: The pill helps increase the cultivatorʼs physical strength and endurance. Only those with early Divine Transformation to peak Divine Being level cultivations can use it. It costs twenty lesser Sacred stones.

Second-grade lesser Mind Expansion Pill: It works for fifteen seconds. It costs hundred lesser Sacred stones.

First-grade lesser Mind Expansion Pill: It works for thirty seconds. It costs two hundred lesser Sacred stones.

Aakesh read the details of all five newly-obtained pills. The pill types were different from the ones he had gotten used to selling in the Primal Dimension.

On top of that, two out of the five newly obtained pills had varieties, depending on their grades.

Aakesh wouldnʼt have to worry about the five pill categories not being marketable in the Sacred Dimension because they were all well-known there.

Aakesh then moved his eyes away from the pills. The next moment, he and Lily disappeared from the storeʼs hall and appeared in the selection arena.

Lily jumped down Aakeshʼs head and went to the section in the right direction. She selected her usual training environment and then pressed the switch.

After Lily left for her training, Aakesh went to the weapon section, closing all his senses. The next moment, he randomly picked up a weapon. Aakesh then turned around and went to the switch. Selecting his usual training ground, Aakesh pressed the switch.

The next moment, the space around him cracked open, forming a portal. It then sucked Aakesh inside, and when light returned to Aakeshʼs eyes, he found him standing in the battle arena.

Not long after, a familiar blue screen popped out in front of Aakesh. Aakesh didnʼt immediately tap on it, but he looked at his hands to see the weapon he had chosen for the day.

It was a battle axe. It was a fearsome weapon as it was half the size of Aakesh, with its sharp edges threatening to cut the space itself.

It had a sharp, double-edged blade forged from the bones of a Dragon. Its handle was made of the polished ivory of a celestial unicorn, which was filled with powerful energy that made the axe even stronger.

Aakeshʼs grip on the battle axe tightened as he casually swung it. The next moment, the blue screen that was only a projection got cleaved into two.

In no time, the blue screen restored itself, and nothing happened to the arena covered in white light.

Aakesh then tapped the usual option on the screen. The next moment, it and the white light covering the arena disappeared while a breath of life other than his emerged on the stage.

Aakesh turned in that direction and found his opponent for the day. Aakesh had read about all the existing races at that time when he was doing the quest, so as soon as he saw his opponent, the details of the creature emerged in his head.

It was a minotaur--a half-man, half-bull creature. It wasnʼt a crossbreed race between humans and bulls, but it originated even earlier than humans in the Multiverse. The Minotaurs were famous for their terrifying physical strength and brutal combat styles.

The Minotaur roared at Aakesh as soon as it saw him. Its eyes contained nothing but cruelty when they looked at Aakesh.

Aakesh ignored the provocation in those eyes as he waited for the bell to ring and the battle to begin.

Ding!

Aakesh and the Minotaur didnʼt have to wait long as the bell rang, announcing the start of the battle.

Aakesh and the Minotaur made the first move at the same time. Using its gigantic horns, it charged toward Aakesh while Aakesh simply moved with the battle axe.
