The First Store System

Chapter 907: A New Quest!

After the sixth sale in the group was complete, several mechanical alerts bombarded Aakeshʼs head. But since he was busy at that time, he ignored them.

Now that Aakesh was free after Jacques left, he finally focused on those alerts.

[Ding!]

[Host, congratulations on completing the quest objective: Sell pills to ten customers!]

[The ”mission reward: Five new types of Lesser level pills” will be given after the storeʼs closing.]

[Please see the following screen for your second quest!]

The next moment, a blue screen containing the details of the second pillʼs quest appeared in front of Aakesh.

[Mission Sequence: Second

Objective: Sell Pills to,

Details: With the purchase from Jacques and his underlings, the store had fulfilled all the previous criteria of the quest. Since we are just getting started, now is not the time to celebrate. Work even more diligently to make more and more customers interested in the product.

Number of pills you need to sell: 10,000 (each category),

Days required: One Month,

Mission reward: Availability of Higher-level Pills,

Failure Punishment: The random disappearance of five types of pills and the sales commission will turn to zero at the eligible productʼs sale for the next three years.]

Aakesh heard all the alerts and soon focused on the blue screen in front of him. While he was reading, out of nowhere, a new screen containing the progress of the second quest emerged on top of the quest screen.

[Quest Progress:

Body healing pill: 156/10,000

Mental healing pill: 156/10,000

Soul healing pill: 156/10,000

Meditation pill: 156/10,000

Energy purification pill: 156/10,000--------]

Aakesh ignored the progress screen and focused on the quest screen.

Similar to the weapons quest, the pill mission also had a sequence section. Aakesh skimmed past the details and focused on the requirement.

Unlike the pillʼs first quest, the mission here required Aakesh to sell a specific number of pills: 10,000 of each category. The mission has a deadline of one month, similar to the second weaponʼs quest.

The first quest would reward the store with five new Lesser level pills, so now the number of pills sold in the store would become ten. Since the requirement wanted Aakesh to sell 10,000 pills of each category, the store would need to sell 100,000 pills in total, which wasnʼt a small sum in one month.

On average, Aakesh needed to sell more than three hundred pills of each category every day if he needed to complete the quest, and even then, it would take the mission to the last day of the deadline.

After considering this factor, Aakesh became confident that the pillʼs quest was going to be more challenging to complete than the weapons or even the cultivation arts.

Since there was no point worrying about the quest only on its first day, Aakesh stopped thinking about it. One day could change the dynamics of the mission, so no one knew what would happen this month. It was better to leave it up to the future and continue doing things as usual.

Since the reward and the failure punishment were predictable, Aakesh only glanced over them. They offered the same things as the second quest for the weapon.

”> Aakesh then focused on the progress screen. The bottom half of the screen was fuzzy.

Aakesh didnʼt have to think about the reason behind the fuzzy screen. It was because the store still hadnʼt received its five types of inventory. Once the store closed and the system added the five new types, the screen would return to normal.

The pill quest completed all its requirements once the sixth sale was made, so the following pill sales were added to the progress screen. It went similar to how things had gone for the weaponʼs quest.

When Bretton and his underlings paid for the training area, as soon as the eighth person entered: the quest became complete. The second missionʼs progress screen became updated with the additional eight people.

Aakesh then waved his hands, and soon after, both screens faded into nothingness, waiting for Aakesh to call them back.

The screens had only disappeared when a new round of system alerts rang inside Aakeshʼs head.

Aakesh became confused at first but soon, the confusion turned into excitement.

[Ding!]

[Host, the store has completed the requirement of activating the first collective quest!]

[Host, please see the quest screen for your mission!]

The next moment, a bigger blue screen containing the details of the first collective quest appeared in front of Aakesh.

[Mission Objective: Sell the store products

Details: After completing two of the four productsʼ quests, the store has unlocked the first collective quest. Please work hard and make the store more popular,

Requirement: Sale of all store products:

Pills: 10,000,

Weapons: 100,

Training area: 1000 hours*

Panagea: 1000 hours,

Cultivation arts; 6,

Deadline: 1 month,

Reward: A New store product,

Failure Punishment: Zero commission for ten years.]

*(1000 trivial, normal, moderate, or difficult) training hours = 200 Immortal training hours = 100 Gods and Demons training hours.)

Aakesh focused on the quest screen with an excited face as this came unexpectedly. The system didnʼt tell Aakesh the requirements of the collective quest, so it was a big surprise to him.

Aakesh soon read all the requirements for the quest. If compared with the pills or the weaponʼs second quest, the difficulty was certainly less. But the quest also dealt with four products, so it made sense.

Except for the cultivation art requirement, Aakesh was confident he would meet all the other conditions. The sale of cultivation art didnʼt depend on him but on the peopleʼs wealth.

He couldnʼt just make money appear out of thin air for the customers to buy the arts, no matter how effective a salesman he became.

The system had already told Aakesh that the new products can only be achieved by completing the collective quests, so when Aakesh read the reward section, he wasnʼt that surprised.

As for the failure punishment, Aakesh only skimmed past it. Failure was not an option for him or the store when a new product was at stake.

”Hey, system, will the new products appear on the store in Primal Dimension as well?” Aakesh suddenly asked the system.
