The First Store System

Chapter 923: The Way of the Celestial Metal!

Ricardo looked around in surprise after entering the store. Looking around, he could tell that the materials used were expensive, but due to his lack of knowledge, he couldnʼt recognize any of them.

The blue-skinned non-demon about whom he had heard rumors, as well as the man about whom Richardʼs tone changed to one of respect whenever he made mention, caught Ricardoʼs attention next.

A smile spread across Ricardoʼs face, and he approached Aakesh.

”Thank you for killing Garoun and his underlings!” Ricardo bowed and thanked Aakesh. His tone was sincere since his hatred for Garoun was second to none.

Aakesh only nodded in response to the manʼs greeting since he didnʼt care about the relationship between the man and Garoun.

”Hello, store owner. I am Ricardo. I manage…” Ricardo finally greeted Aakesh after standing up, introducing himself and his hotel.

”I am Aakesh,” As usual, Aakesh responded with his name in response to the customerʼs introduction.

”What store products do you sell, store owner?” Ricardo asked. Even though he was already aware of all four products, thanks to Richard, he still inquired since it was better to hear directly from the source.

Aakesh, who had been waiting for the question, introduced all four products in a single breath.

ʼHe didnʼt lie,ʼ Ricardo thought in his heart as his suspicions about Richard lessened. At the same time, he also grew excited since the effect of Panagea was no less than heaven-defying.

The store also sold cultivation arts, which his family desperately needed. Even without a cultivation art, cultivators could reach the peak of Divine Being, but that was the end of their journey.

Ricardo and his family experienced a similar situation. His father was an early Divine Being level cultivator, while Ricardo and his elder brother were both at the peak of Divine Transformation. Ricardo was more than 100,000 years old, while his father was almost half a million years older, so it didnʼt come easy for them.

In those years, the family had amassed some wealth due to their large numbers and hotel chains, but since there was no market for cultivation arts, the family was unable to acquire one.

After learning that Richard was right when he talked about the cultivation arts, Ricardo grew excited since it could mean the end of their familyʼs wait of so many years.

Ricardo first asked about Panagea. Ricardo decided to investigate cultivation arts after learning that all of the spots for Panagea were taken for the day.

If he found one suitable and within the range of family savings, then nothing could be better than that.

Ricardo thanked Aakesh and then proceeded toward the cultivation arts room.

After Ricardo left, there was a gleam in Aakeshʼs eyes as he hoped for Ricardo to buy the cultivation art. Joator was already inside the room, looking for a suitable cultivation art, and if Ricardo also found one, the store would be one cultivation art shy of reaching the requirements set by the art quest.

(A/N: Alric had already left the store after finding a cultivation art he could afford.)

After Ricardo entered the room, he came across another customer. A look of shock appeared on Ricardoʼs face as he felt a hint of pressure coming from his bloodline in the presence of that man.

Ricardo had learned about several of the groups in the Demon race, so he recognized the man in front of him.

After taking a deep breath, Ricardo was about to greet the man when he abruptly stopped, after Ricardo noticed his disgruntled expression.

Ricardo dismissed that thought and moved toward the shelf in search of a cultivation art.

In the last several hundred thousand years, Ricardoʼs father had saved around five hundred ordinary Sacred stones, so keeping that in mind, he began to search for a cultivation art.

Joatorʼs issue was different. He had been in this room for quite some time now, but he still had to come across a cultivation art that could excite him.

More time flew by, and the disgruntled Joator finally had a change of expression.

[Name- The Way of the Celestial Metal

Grade- Lesser grade

Type: All Power systems

Details: This cultivation art centers around the element of metal, using it to refine and sharpen the cultivatorʼs spiritual energy and cultivate to higher levels.

Users: Divine Transformation and Divine Being

Price: 1000 ordinary Sacred stones.]

Joator looked in surprise at the floating window in front of him.

His heart skipped a beat when his eyes fell on the price section; it was way expensive, to say the least.

But the reason Joator was drawn to this cultivation art was because the one he originally used was this as well.

Joator decided to check the artʼs details using the preview option first. Since the price was so high, it must have something that is valuable.

The next moment, ten ordinary Sacred stones disappeared from his Higher Store Card since the preview cost was one percent of the total price.

The next moment, light particles started gathering in front of Joator.

Joator looked at the second person in the room, who seemed to have not noticed the change.

Joator returned his focus back to the phenomenon of light particles.

In a matter of a few seconds, the light particles gathered together, forming a virtual book.

Time flew by. Joator had a jaw dropping expression on his face since the complexity and details in the cultivation art were several times more than the one he owned. Joator didnʼt even think of comparing the two since it would be an insult to the one in front of him.

Joator didnʼt even need to read half the book to make his decision. But since he didnʼt want to stop, he still continued till the last page.

He was beaming when he got to the end because he knew the transformation the cultivation art would bring about in him. At the same time, he was also disappointed since if he had this one instead of the one his father owned, then he would have been on the verge of reaching the Divine Lord.

Joator cheerfully left the art room to complete his purchase, while Ricardo was left alone in the room, searching for a suitable cultivation art.
