The First Store System

Chapter 909: A New Day for the Store(7)

Joator stood at the storeʼs gate as he pondered over whether to enter or not. Joator had been living in the Fawkes Kingdom for the past several years. In those years, he had lived mainly in the capital city.

Joator, however, had decided to tour the Kingdom in recent years because his cultivation had reached a ceiling. He couldnʼt seem to gain any inspiration.

Joator had been in Thorr City for the past few days, and today he was traveling around Seventeenth Street. While traveling, Joator saw the store, and for some reason, his intuition gave him warning signals toward it. At the same time, his heart also wanted to enter the store, as if there was something very dear to it inside the store.

Joator reached the storeʼs door while thinking about what to do, and now he began pondering over what to pick; his intuition, which warned him, or his heart, which wanted him to go inside.

It had been a long time since he felt this intuition, but since he had a talisman created by his father with him, Joator decided to enter the store. The talisman would release the full power of his fatherʼs attack, and it would be enough to destroy this entire city, let alone a store in it.

As for not being able to see or hear anything going on inside the store, Joator didnʼt focus much on it. He had seen it in the Triangular-Eyed Demon Kingʼs palace.

As Joatorʼs right foot landed inside the store, he felt his surroundings change. Joator abruptly sensed a threat to himself and was forced to take a cold breath of air.

The triangle in the Triangular-Eyed Demons wasnʼt random. It made them more sensitive to the Sacred energy than many other races.

The Triangular-Eyed Demon race had great potential even when they were placed in the Sacred Dimension as a whole, but if the triangle was a blessing, it was also a shackle.

Once any Triangular-Eyed Demon reached the level above the True God in cultivation, a triangular shackle would be placed on them. If the members of the race wanted to cultivate further, they would need to break that shackle. But since the existence of the race, only one cultivator above True God level had taken birth in it, and that cultivator had failed to break the shackles placed on him by the triangle. It was all in the public library, so every member of the race knew these things.

The feeling went as quickly as it had appeared, but for Joator, who was sensitive to energy, even that fleeting moment was like an eternity, as all the hair on his body had risen at that moment, while the triangular pattern in his eye had also begun lightening up.

Aakesh sensed the sudden change in Joator, but he didnʼt care since he was already aware of the sensitivity of the Triangular-Eyed Demons.

It was the systemʼs energy. It wasnʼt aimed at Joator since if it were fully aimed at him, he would have turned into a blood mist from failing to bear that pressure. After Joator entered, the energy of the system passed by him because it had permeated every nook and cranny of the shop. Joator only noticed a momentary sense of danger because the energy was neither friendly nor hostile.

”> It took several seconds for Joator to calm down, as that fleeting moment was the most terrifying sensation he had ever experienced. He didnʼt feel this way even when he was in the presence of the King.

”Iʼll go check some weapons,” Joator said cheerfully to Aakesh.

After calming down, Joator approached Aakesh and learned about all the storeʼs products. Like the majority of the customers, he also wanted to enter Panagea, but since all the spots were full.

After learning about Panagea, Joator was particularly excited about the weapons and the cultivation arts. His cultivation had hit the ceiling for the past ten years, so he felt the store would help him breach that ceiling.

At the same time, Joator also understood why his heart gave him such strong signals about entering the store.

Joator had saved a lot these past years, so he didnʼt worry about his wealth not being enough. Aakesh decided to let loose all the money he had amassed in the past several years.

Joator had already bought three pills belonging to each category. He wanted to buy more meditation and energy purification pills, but unfortunately for him, the store owner refused to remove the limit even when he doubled the price. At that time, the store owner had only pointed toward the rule board.

Joator would have tried asking the store owner again and again for more pills, despite the rule board, but that fleeting moment of danger when he stepped into the store stopped him from going on such adventures.

Since the pills were done, Joator left for the weapons room. His face was glowing with excitement as he couldnʼt wait to see what surprises the store would give him.

As Joator entered the weapons room, his eyes and mouth flew wide open in shock at the grandness of the room. The white pillars, devoid of any dust particles, gave the room a regal look. The several murals on the white wall added further charm to the room.

Joator couldnʼt move his eyes away from the murals. He tried to see what was extraordinary about these paintings but failed to sense anything.

Joator began searching for the murals related to his weapon, as he used a mace in battle. Joator used to be a sword user, but he stopped that day when he killed the woman who had honey-trapped him using his sword. After that day, whenever he used the sword, he saw him killing the woman he once loved. It became no less than a painful torture for him, so he gave up on swordsmanship after that/

He then became a mace user since his talent for it was only second to the sword. His talent for the mace was lesser than his talent for the sword, but since he had an eternity ahead of him, he didnʼt care about it.

Joator eventually found the mace-related mural and focused solely on that.
