Chapter 245: Unexpected Situation

After Aakesh killed Mark, he activated the skill, Universal-Eye, and found the leader running away.

Since the leader was Level 50, even without any movement skill/spell, he could cover a distance of a mile in seconds, but now that he was using some movement skill, he had already crossed the distance of one yojana(8 miles). Aakesh couldnʼt let that man leave, or he would lose his quest. He activated the skill, Nine Shifts, and chased after the leader.

While running, he noticed the sky had turned darker as if night had arrived. It wasnʼt the end, as the next moment, the sky started roaring. He ignored it and only focused on the leader.

Time flew by, and a few seconds passed. Even with the help of the skill Nine Shift, Aakesh wasnʼt able to catch up to the leader. He was only going far from Aakesh.

While running, Aakesh thought of his status screen, and the next moment, a blue screen containing all his details inside Panagea appeared in front of him.

Energy: 943/2200,

Aakesh only focused on the energy section, and after finding out how much energy he had left, he waved his hands, and the status screen disappeared.

He hadnʼt stopped chasing the leader at all. After seeing, he still had a good amount of energy left, he called out the skill Ability-Learning. He then began to find a movement skill that could help him at his moment.

After searching for a few seconds, Aakesh finally found one skill he could use. It was a high-level skill named, Crossing the Skies. Lenna was the owner of the skill.

The skill at its full power allowed him to jump millions of miles in less than a second. Aakesh neither needed to go that far nor was he able to.

He activated the skill, and not even a second had passed, and more than 500 units of his energy disappeared in thin air. But since the leader was only a yojana away from him, Aakesh cleared the distance and appeared just 50 meters in front of the leader.

Aakesh had chosen to appear here, and the next moment, he activated the skill SandPort. The land in a radius of 100 meters around him turned into a desert.

It all happened so fast that even someone like the leader didnʼt get the time to react.

When he finally understood what had happened, Aakesh appeared in front of him and swung his sword, aiming to sever his head.

The leaderʼs face had turned pale from fear, but he was still able to bring his sword in time.

”Clang!”

The next moment, a clashing sound rang in the area.

Aakeshʼs attack became more fierce and swift after seeing the leader stopping his strike.

”Clang!”

”Clang!”

”Clang!”

Continuous sounds of metal clashing rang in the area. The leader was able to stop the sword from cutting him, but he wasnʼt in good shape.

He had psychologically made Aakesh a very powerful being in his mind, whom he could never defeat. His reactions were slowing down with each clash. On the other hand, Aakeshʼs swings were getting powerful, and since he had unlimited endurance, he would never get tired.

A few more seconds passed, and the leaderʼs body had already gotten filled with numerous injuries. Even thought no wound was severe, it still increased the mental pressure on him.

Seeing the leader had almost mentally given up on surviving and was almost on the verge of giving up the battle, Aakesh found it the right time to end the fight. He still had more than 300 units of energy left, so he decided to spend 95% of it on the next attack.

The next moment, a white projection of the sword appeared above Aakesh. The leader seeing it, lost all the colors on his face, and the sword slipped out of his hands.

The projection of the sword was larger, and it shone brighter than the last time when he had used it to kill Mark.

The next moment, the sword projection fell upon the leader. When the sword touched the leader, something different happened.

Instead of splitting him into two, the leaderʼs body turned into ashes, and then the ashes disintegrated into nothingness.

Right after the leader died, a new blue window appeared in front of him, informing him that he had completed the quest and also the requirement for the bonus reward.

It wasnʼt the end, as suddenly an empty golden screen appeared in front of him. Aakesh was already late for opening the store, so he decided to check them when he would return.

The next moment, he tried to return to the actual world, but a shocked look appeared on his face as unexpectedly, nothing happened. He was still in the Panagea, and the golden screen in front of him was still empty, but its brightness had increased by several folds.

”Hey, system, whatʼs going on?” Aakesh had no mood to check out the issue of the golden screen. Instead, he wanted to know, why canʼt he leave the Panagea?

[Host, youʼve killed an administrator of a town without a war. The will of the Panagea is angry with you for doing this, so it has blocked you from leaving.]

Aakesh couldnʼt help but become dumbfounded when he heard the explanation. He looked at the sky and noticed thunder appearing in the sky, and it rumbled from time to time.

”Does it want to punish me with thunder?” Aakesh asked, seeing the thunder gathering in the sky.

[Host, you donʼt need to worry about it. You should only focus on the golden screen in front of you. Itʼs your reward for being the killer of the administrator.]

”Eh!” Aakesh exclaimed in surprise, as the last he remembered, the system had told him that he wouldnʼt get any rewards from the Panagea for being the first.

As if the system could understand what Aakesh was thinking, it explained.

[Host, it isnʼt a milestone or a unique reward. Any adventurer who kills the Townhead would become the new Townhead and the owner of the town.]

”I have no interest in it. Can I give it to anyone?” Aakesh asked. He had no interest in maintaining a town inside Panagea.

[Yes, Host!]

Suddenly, blue letters started to appear on the golden screen, and with it the dark clouds in the sky also began disappearing.

When the entire content appeared, the sky became normal, and the dark clouds vanished without any trace.
