The Conquerors Path

Chapter 1017 - 1015-Fish....Fish...Everywhere.

Glance.....look away...

Glance.....look away....

Glance...look away....

Glance...eyes meet!.....look away fast!

This is the repeat that keeps happening here for me as we moved through the high seas. Literally through the higher parts of the sea towards a broken spatial point that creates a sense of reality where I will be able to meet these so-called gods that want to meet me. The funny part is how Krave keeps looking at me as we move through the sky high.

She would look at me and then look away, look at me and then look away. Like I could read the pure curiosity in her mind right now, itching with questions to ask me. And Luna, just sleeping away at my shoulder, has also gotten pretty annoyed, too.

”Just ask what you want to ask Krave!”

Luna finally shouted from my shoulder and huffed away, relaxing at me after the shout as Krave finally, with those 6 sparkling eyes, looked at me.

”I am an open book.”

[Biggest lie ever told by anyone.]

’Get lost, you are not invited.’

[Like, I wanted to know you eye-balling another woman.]

’Hey, it’s for what I was brought here.’

[Sure.... sure.....]

My words made Krave finally speak out.

”How did this between the two of you even happen?”

”That’s a good story. We met, and the two of us weren’t anything in the world. I was just an original rank kid travelling to see the world, when I happened to come upon a pup wolf dying away, its last breaths on it. I took the pup in, and we became something like family.”

As I said this, I lightly petted Luna’s head, who purred a little at it. The action itself made all eyes of Krave’s wide open, as if she had seen the most impossible thing in the world. The way her mouth also dropped just got me to chuckle as Krave jumped in.

”Wow.... the crazy Fenrir like this? By the seas, guess when you live long, you see everything there is to see.”

She muttered, like her whole damn world view had been shattered. I chuckled a bit at it.

”We found each other when we were nothing in the power of this world, and from there on we just fought against the world as the weak we are, to just strive and live. And now we still do the same when we walk the divine.”

My words make Krave take it all in, looking at me once again, petting Luna, who seems to enjoy it. My sense was still on her, and I could see a small smile come to her face at my words.

”That sounds wonderful....”

I gave my natural smile to those words as I threw in a question to her.

”So tell me about you.”

”Me?”

Krave got confused at it as she looked at me, to which I nodded my head.

”Yeah, you. Heard a lot about the Kraken that protects the sea, one of the legends that brought peace to the otherwise deadly sea that was caught between nowhere in those past wars. Anyone who crawled their way to the power you hold now comes with their own unique tales and stories.”

My words had their effect as I could feel her tentacles just smooth and jumped away as she soon started to get talking and talking and talking and talking.

’She is starting to feel like those old people who get to talking a lot because they are alone all the time.’

Even then, I didn’t hate it. I could feel the duality in her, like the duality of kindness that protects, but also the coldness that won’t hesitate to kill and take away if it means protecting what little remains. The maternal warmth of a mother, while the chilling coldness of a warrior. A terrible monster that roams the depths of the ocean as its largest and most dangerous prey.

’She doesn’t see all life as equal.’

Keeping that in mind, I joined in on her little talks, answering in between and keeping the talks going with a sunny and charming tone. Normally, more than enough to melt anyone, and Krave seemed to enjoy it, which came with Luna waking me in the back with her tail again and again. Not painful, but definitely doesn’t feel good.

In about 15 minutes, we reached the swirling crack-like right above the ocean, flickering and jumping. To which Krave looked disappointed that we reached so soon.

”You can follow me around, and we can spend time together when I deal with my stuff on the ocean.”

My words made Krave look pleased as the two of us walked through the crack. The spatial twist and anomaly breaking all around me as I found myself in a wide spread..... ocean.

Luna on my shoulder, a bit more tense, and I get it. But the main reason I could walk in here so confidently is also due to Luna. I have the backing of Orpheus, and beyond that, Luna herself is a rare high God power rank, focused deeply towards combat and death. Plus, I am also a True Half-God. If they wanted to hurt me, it wouldn’t be an easy task.

Plus, Orpheus is monitoring my life at all times. If ever my life reaches a point of problem, I am sure she will throw caution to the wind and help me herself. So overall, I am not that tense, but I am still keeping my guard up. You can never be too careful, especially when playing around with Gods. The claws and abilities they hold can be troublesome in their own way. Like the power of Lala, just a God of Games. But games that strip your power, abilities, what makes you, you from you.

So it’s always best to keep some small guard in place.

So my focus finally fell in this place. The atmosphere and the quality of aura in this place are fun and calm. A gentleness like the sea embracing me deeply. The feet under me were water, but felt much softer, like land mixed with the quality of the sea.

The sky above me was a gentle blue, and waves like clouds could be seen moving through the sky. Then my eyes landed on the 7 figures spread around the place, sitting in comfortable water-like chairs, all with their own unique looks. But the divinity in them gave away their status.

”Come, let me introduce you.”

Krave said as she took me around to introduce me to all 7 women, who were looking at me with deep eyes like I was some sort of toy they finally got to ease their boredom with. Their deep eyes were quite troubling as I took it all in. They formed a circular-like arrangement, waiting in their own way as I reached up to them.

”This is Nerissa, Goddess of the Abyssal Depths.”

The woman in question is tall, standing at 6’4” with an hourglass figure that seems sculpted from midnight pearl. Her skin is a deep indigo that glows faintly with living constellations of bioluminescent spots along her curves, pulsing softly. Long, flowing hair of midnight black that moves as if underwater, with tiny glowing jellyfish tendrils woven through it.

She has four elegant arms, two normal, the lower pair emerging from her lower back with webbed fin-like fingers. Her legs merge into a powerful, muscular mermaid tail below the hips. Instead of a navel, she has a gently glowing vertical gill slit on her toned abdomen that flutters when she breathes water. Her eyes are solid, luminous teal with no pupils, and her tongue is long, prehensile, and slightly forked as she licked her lips.

[Try to fuck that.]

’Don’t tempt me.’

[This guy... You are now living with the goal that every hole is a goal?]

’If the hole is useful.’

[Urgh.... I am leaving.]

’Good luck finding someone better.’

[That’s what she said.]

”It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

I said with a smile as I moved in for a handshake, which ended up with my hands feeling water-like as all her hands gave me a shake. My eyes focused as those fin-like legs soon turned human, her skirt in place.

”The pleasure is all mine.”

She said with that tongue acting up again.

[Her domain is the crushing black trenches, bioluminescent horrors, and hidden pressure of the deepest ocean. She is a high tier.]

’Good to know.’

Krave moved me to the next, a woman seated comfortably on a storm-like sofa, crackles being heard.

”This is Thalassa, Goddess of the Storm-Tossed Oceans.”

Even seated, she has an athletic yet voluptuous build with sun-kissed bronze skin that has a permanent sheen of seawater. Her hair is a wild mane of seafoam-green and silver strands that is constantly shifting and spraying fine mist. She possesses two additional wave arms made of semi-solid animated water emerging from her shoulders. These seem to solidify into strong, cool hands or remain fluid as they waved around.

Small, sharp coral-like horns crown her head. Her breasts and hips have subtle wave-ripple patterns permanently etched into the skin that move hypnotically. A long, powerful tentacle tail, thick at the base and tapering with suckers, emerges from the base of her spine. Strong enough to coil around a partner and lift them effortlessly, is my guess. Her inner thighs have soft, sensitive gill-frills that I could see from my angle.
