The Conquerors Path

Chapter 1006: Chapter 1004-Lets Try My Luck With Death.

’Now this is very interesting indeed.’

I thought as I kept my eyes on Tria Twilight moving around in front of me. After that whole boring discussion and talks with the building of my faction, setting up things, I moved through cut space and arrived here—technically towards the place Tria is moving right now. I had got the information that she had started to act out a little differently than normal, and I made the move to keep track of her with myself, since I can sense something big is coming my way.

’It’s been too long keeping her at bay anyway.’

Narrowing my eyes, I kept my gaze on Tria as she changed her dress. Right now, I am in a smaller town belonging to the Twilight Empire, not a big-ass place but a small-time town close to a forest spread around vast, and right now, Tria has come here. Since she doesn’t have much standing in the family itself, she was able to get permission to come see the town in secret.

Her fingers found the laces at the side of her fitted travelling dress. She tugged them loose with practised little pulls, the fabric whispering down her body.

First came the swell of her tits, full and heavy but so perfectly perky they barely needed support. The dress slipped lower, and they bounced free, soft pale skin catching the golden light, nipples already tight little peaks from the cool air brushing over them. They were the kind of breasts that made a man’s mouth water—round, firm, the perfect handful with just enough natural bounce to hypnotise as she moved.

The dress pooled at her waist, and she shimmied her hips to let it drop the rest of the way. Her body was lithe and tight in that dangerous, athletic way—slender waist flaring into hips that begged to be gripped, an ass so round and perky it looked like it had been sculpted just to be spanked and spread. The muscles in her thighs flexed as she stepped out of the fabric, long, toned legs that could wrap around a man’s waist and hold him there while she rode him senseless. Not an ounce of softness she didn’t want; every inch of her was sleek, smooth, and screaming to be touched.

Completely naked now, Tria stretched up onto her toes, arms overhead, arching her back like a cat in heat. The motion pulled her stomach taut—flat and defined with the faintest lines of muscle—and pushed those perfect tits higher, nipples pointing straight up like they were aching for attention. My eyes dragged lower, drinking in the smooth, hairless mound between her thighs. Her pussy was a tight little slit, already glistening just a little in the warm light, the outer lips plump and flushed, the inner petals peeking out like they were begging to be licked open.

She turned slowly, giving me the full view—gods, that ass. Two perfect, heart-shaped cheeks, firm enough to bounce when she walked but soft enough to sink my fingers into. The cleft between them was deep and inviting, and when she bent forward a fraction to pick up a fresh dress from the bed, I saw everything: the tight pink pucker of her asshole and the way her pussy lips parted just enough to show the wet, glistening entrance that looked so small, so impossibly tight.

’I can understand a bit why people like this.’

Of course, around her are several protection soldiers who came along, all of them around this little inn that is now occupied. My eyes are focusing now on her changing her dress.

The main question, though, lies with why she came here at all, and with some quick questions from my system, which was glad to sell me the information for some points, I was able to make a more actionable deduction on why she came here, and the situation intrigued me. Who would have thought such an important historic world is here?

It seems she came here to get that, and is already planning her ways on getting it too. What was fun was seeing her expression right now. The normal expression she had when I saw her was that gentle, naive face, but the face she has right now is one of utter calm, maybe like a frozen face that has seen a lot of death and destruction—the face of a soldier who came up in war, more of the PTSD look, I say.

Tria moved as she, after changing her dress, walked towards one of the tables, her hands swiping around as she took out a book, a pretty, worn-out book as she held it. She sat down facing the table as she opened it up. Even without my eyes looking at it, I was able to scan the contents of it all in an instant and uniquely. The contents written in it were in a certain code-like manner, such that even if someone does get the book, they won’t be able to read what’s written on it unless they know the code.

Feeling a bit challenged, I took a few seconds in my mind to break through the combination, after which I quickly understood the contents written more detailed in the book, the contents themselves being a more knowing surprise as I understood.

’Looks like she got hooked in that first intervention in itself.’

The main question of her book itself reads:

Why the fuck is this timeline so fucked?

I chuckled, hidden at those crass words written by such a gentle-looking flower like her, her speech style in itself feeling more like a soldier, as I felt quite intrigued by it all. The next question of it all is what really drew my attention, which confirmed my hypothesis when I first saw her.

Why the fuck is Austin Lionheart alive? What’s up with this messed-up situation?

I have to say, I quite enjoyed her questions that leaned onto this, which kept in mind just proved that perhaps she is from a timeline in itself where I had burned to death along with Liora. But my main question still comes to what kind of life she lives? Which of the protagonists was she related to? Who did what and why is important data I need.

Thankfully, some of the words written in it as questions opened up some answers for me while opening up other questions. Some information in itself was quite shocking, but I kept it all in mind as I came to understand that leaving Tria alone like this isn’t good at all. She is a moving ticking time bomb changing the world as she walks, just like me.

Another factor being that she is very wary of me. In a way, I might have saved her life, but that didn’t get me much help from her at all. In fact, that only seemed to have pushed her to feel even more wary against me, cause it seems that in a world where I wasn’t alive, she didn’t know how to move forward at all.

The only good fact is that she attributes the majority of the world changes to me, several good changes which she accepts in a way are good and in a way bad.

’Girl, make up your mind.’

But what’s problematic for me is her plans to somehow keep Carmel a bit far away from me, her scribbles of them being for him, needing to help him, and just the mearing words she wrote let me know who was the one that was truly close to her in the past, and it’s one I am planning on dealing with later too.

’So that’s how some things went.’

The more interesting part is how it all feels. It’s like she feels indebted to this protagonist of ours while at the same time feeling like a love-hate relationship. My lips twitch at the cliché things flowing here, though that’s good for me. Since it’s a love-hate thing, the Austin Lionheart has a way to score here.

Just need to bring out the hate to a higher level than the love, cause right now I can tell it’s the love that’s bigger than the hate. It will be my sacred duty to make sure the hate outlasts it, and I get the love. Musing on the thought, I saw Tria closing up the book and standing up. It seems she is finally ready to head into this historic world.

She had made sure over the days that the historic world hadn’t changed and the situations were the same here, so with that confidence backing her, she plans on heading in there and getting the legacies and treasures for the second time.

In retrospect, I am not really against her getting this treasure, but why throw away a perfect opportunity that fell into my lap?

The only issue is how to play it without causing more suspicions than what’s already here. This has to be played quite correctly. In fact, if it wasn’t for what kind of historic world it is, I would have had more options, but messing around with this one, I have to be careful, if not to earn more attention I don’t want at all.

’So this is the whole luck thing gone issue.’

Thinking that, I arrived in front of a tree in the forest, a really old, dark black tree that seemed ominous and deadly at a single glance. A faint wisp of death swirled around the tree, a fallen divinity that connects to death being corroded here, which meant this has some connections to the Goddess of Death itself.

’And I can hear the whispers of danger in it.’

Among the different gods to be careful of, Orpheus and his Goddess mommy had specified quite well to be very careful of the Goddess of Death. Her situation, mind, and awareness stuff are quite literally different from those of the other Gods. She rarely comes out of her place, spends all her time governing over her darkness, and isn’t really close to anyone at all. Plus, she is said to have a certain special temperament.

’The more I hear about her, the more she feels like a NEET.’

Hoping for that truth, my senses told me that if I touched this tree, even with my powers, I wouldn’t be entering the historic world. Instead, I will be pulled into the domain that the Goddess of Death is overseeing. In fact, even right now, I can feel her gaze on me. She is using this opportunity to pull me in, and this time I won’t be able to tell how this will go.

’This time my luck is shitty too.’

But if I don’t deal with this, then I won’t be able to play the games I want in this. Thus, tinkering down a bit, I placed my hand on the tree, and with that, my senses went dark.
