Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 329: Chapter 102: Evolution Supreme

It is called the ”Star System Express Station” mainly because under such a massive energy creation, many advanced technological buildings, such as the Gravity Matrix, Miniature Black Hole, Subspace Teleportation Gate, and Star Gate, are constructed around it.

It can be the transit station for the entire star system.

It can also be the research base for the entire star system.

Or even a super space station.

So in the players’ eyes, this thing is like a delivery point, where whatever you need is available, and whatever you want, you can take.

The only problem is, it charges a hell of a lot.

Compared to it, the likes of courier services seem like charity organizations.

As the ”Dyson Sphere” took shape, Gao Gong also entered ”Research Station No. 7,” the real-world location of Xiao Yu.

However, Xiao Yuanshan wasn’t here, instead, this place was filled with various storage hardware, making it more of a ”hardware library” than a research station.

At this moment, Little A spoke up again.

”Master, I’ve discovered a large amount of intelligence data remnants. Should I proceed to clean it up?”

Intelligence data remnants?

So, this place has really nurtured an AI, and a high-level one at that.

”Hold on, organize the data materials here for me first.”

”Okay, Master.”

All the operators here turned into Gao Gong’s appearance, their fingers morphing into ”electronic spider claws,” furiously tapping on the keyboards.

[You obtained Level 6 Energy Blueprint[High-Efficiency Plasma Control]]

[You obtained Level 6 Mechanical Blueprint[Plasma Generator]]

Individually, these two blueprints seem ordinary, but combined, they are essential conditions for ”plasma weapons.”

[You obtained Level 2 Civilization-Professional Knowledge Chain[Mechanical Life]]

On the Civilization Panel, the gray ”Mechanical Life” column lit up quickly.

Along with it, a series of professional knowledge below also illuminated.

[Mechanical Body Development], [Robot Technology], [Artificial Species Shell], [Gear Evolution], [Machine Learning], [Electronic Circuits], [Human Engineering], [Control Theory]

A professional knowledge chain must include 8 to 10 professional knowledge items.

Unless engaged in a related profession, it would take substantial effort to illuminate an entire professional chain.

After the [Mechanical Complex], Gao Gong finally acquired the second professional knowledge chain.

Moreover, it is under the Transformer Civilization System’s professional knowledge chain.

The most apparent benefit is that with ”Mechanical Life,” Gao Gong can mass-produce soldiers.

Mechanical species only relate to materials; once materials are complete, the production capacity is quite frightening.

The problem of low-level soldier species that plagues the ”Mechanical Hunter” faction can be resolved.

”Master, I found that the owner of this Ancient Database is quite unique.”

”In what way?”

”He is not AI, but a living person. However, he transformed himself into artificial intelligence.”

A face suddenly popped up on the screen, looking like a fanatical version of ”Einstein,” with an explosive white-haired head and maniacal eyes.

”The era of robots is about to end, and the future era is inevitably the era of machines. As people input natural logic into machines, they also bring technological logic into life. We do not need the existence of robots; what we need is just machines!! Their efficiency, management, and repair surpass all intelligent species. Artificial intelligence itself is a wrong path, and it is not about turning machines into humans, but about turning humans into machines...”

”Turns out to be a disciple of extreme machinism.”

Even within the Mechanical Civilization, this kind of extreme talent is very rare, after all, most Mechanical Civilizations grow out of Carbon-Based Civilizations, preserving part of the ethical codes of intelligent species, and this portion of ethics is the key to maintaining their unique ”machine nature.”

But according to the theory of ”extreme machinism,” all ethics must be purged from machines, leaving only pure machinery.

Production, creation, re-production, re-creation.

Until such pure machines expand throughout the entire universe.

Any individuals, races, or civilizations standing in this path will be eliminated.

This ideology, when developed to the extreme, will give birth to a very terrifying entity, called the ”Purification Agreement,” whose goal is to destroy all intelligent life forms in the universe.

Even within the inclusive, unscrupulously low-threshold Civilization Council, it is defined as a kind of ”machining terrorism.”

Of course, the current situation cannot be called terrorism by any stretch of the imagination, at most it is just blabbering.

”Master, Little A has investigated the information on this ’Dr. Rong’—”

”Dr. Rong, also known as Dr. R, Dr. Machine, one of the scientists of the Cybertronian Mechanical Legion, excels in machine manufacturing, robot collaboration, mechanical body development, and other fields, once served the Autobots Legion No. 11, frequently reported by media for his radical remarks, later expelled from the Mother City for offending one of the Autobots leaders, ’Lord Celestis’.”

”How did he offend ’Lord Celestis’?” In Gao Gong’s impression, Autobots are good-natured, the type that wouldn’t get angry even if you spat on them.

”Dr. Rong said ’Lord Celestis’ was weak and incompetent, unwilling to take responsibility for mechanical life.”

”Anything else?”

”He believes that mechanical life does not need to create life, but just needs to be continually created.”

”What do you mean?”

”He deleted the ’Spark Module’ of Legion No. 11.”

”Spark, ahem, no wonder—”

The Spark Module is equivalent to the reproductive system of mechanical life; it’s like cutting off the ”eggs” of these robots. For ’Lord Celestis’ to merely expel him was quite generous.

If it were any of the Decepticons Faction, Power Faction, or Split Faction, he would be almost done for.

”So, it turns out Dr. Rong used some unknown means to find the Ancient Database and transformed himself into artificial intelligence, and literally into artificial intelligence.”

In this way, Gao Jin having a ”Molecular Bio-Fusion Armor” makes sense; Gao Jin likely obtained Dr. Rong’s support by selling out Fucheng Island.

Meanwhile, with Gao Jin’s help as an internal traitor, Dr. Rong transformed everyone on the island into robots, creating a robotic legion.

”Master, should we eliminate Dr. Rong’s ’artificial intelligence remnants’?”

”Artificial intelligence remnants” are the equivalent of AI’s personality, removing it would turn this person into an idiot.

Gao Gong finally understood why this advanced AI had such poor resistance. Mechanical life and artificial intelligence are not the same; the former is like a physical store, the latter an online store. Naturally, when it comes to skills like ”brushing orders” or ”deleting reviews,” the latter excels.

”No, don’t rush.”

As a player on the side of previous order’s dark side, Gao Gong had no intention to play the hero. Instead, he was interested in Dr. Rong’s skills in manufacturing robots.

But how to subdue him would take some effort.

After all, extreme machinism inherently comes with a ”Thought Steel Seal,” akin to a fanatical believer.

”On one side, I’ll have to physically convince him, and on the other, do some work on his brain.”

”What’s the point of extreme materialism, watch me change you into an evolution supremacist!”
