Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 327: Chapter 100: Destruction Form

Xiao Yu felt a tug at the back of her neck, she touched it, and the sensation immediately disappeared.

Together with this Mechanical Armor Soldier, she swam underwater all the way to the seabed. To her surprise, a giant gate appeared on the sea cliff.

The Mechanical Armor Soldier pressed something, and the mechanical gate slowly opened. Xiao Yu immediately felt a strong suction, and the two mechanical bodies were swept inside.

The gate slowly closed, and they rolled several times before standing up from the water flow.

Xiao Yu looked around, curious: ”Where is this place?”

”Research Station No. 7.”

”No. 7,” Xiao Yu softly repeated, noting that she was referred to as the No. 7 Destruction Form.

”What is a Destruction Form?”

”You’ll know when you get there,” the Mechanical Armor Soldier, familiar with the area, observed that the place was heavily damaged; many areas even lacked lighting.

The two walked for about half an hour, reaching a dead-end, with yet another mechanical gate. The Mechanical Armor Soldier turned around.

”Only you have the authority to enter the research station.”

Xiao Yu walked dazedly to the gate, a strange feeling arose suddenly in her mind, and her eyes lit up with a bright white light. Under this radiance, the gate also became transparent and gradually disappeared.

”This is a product of Nano Materials, from Research Station No. 4.”

Seeing this scene, the Mechanical Armor Soldier showed no surprise.

”Welcome back, Destruction No. 7.”

A figure stood at the center of the room—Xiao Yuanshan.

Looking at her ’convenient grandfather,’ Xiao Yu’s eyes widened.

”Yes, it is me. By blood, I am indeed your grandfather, your father Xiao Feng is my youngest son, born from a lover, quietly hidden outside the family. Yet, unexpectedly, the real inheritor of the family’s glory turned out to be an illegitimate child.”

Xiao Yu opened her mouth, hesitated, and said: ”Are you dead?”

”Dead, found by family members, hunted to death, this is my Thought Box. I had thought the imprint I left on the Destruction code would lead you here, but I overlooked one thing, that is, the erosion of the Destruction code on the imprint. You came here presumably not because of that.”

Xiao Yu nodded.

”Do you have any questions now?”

”What is Destruction?”

”Destruction is an escape plan gathered by scientists from three civilizations: Empire, Alliance, and Federation, using the Earth Crust Engine as the power source and all high-tech technologies as the core. Once the research is successful, we will have a chance to escape that Advanced Civilization.”

”Advanced Civilization, you mean the owner of the Mother City?” Xiao Yu asked.

”Correct, that Advanced Mechanical Civilization is known as the Ancient Mechanical Collective, an ancient Level 7 Civilization, even among all mechanical civilizations in the universe, it is unimaginably powerful.”

”Level 7 Civilization?”

Xiao Yu wasn’t sure how powerful a Level 7 Civilization was. In fact, even Gao Gong wouldn’t consider Level 7 Civilization to be merely one level higher than Level 6 Civilization.

Level 6 Civilization is a Star System Cluster-level Civilization, its coverage is an entire star cluster, while a star cluster contains hundreds of star systems, like the Virgo Star Cluster wrapping around a certain Galaxy.

Level 7 Civilization is a Supercluster Civilization, comprised of hundreds of star clusters and star system groups forming a super cosmic system.

The two are on entirely different scales.

”Then what is the escape plan? Why do we need to escape?”

”Because according to our agreement with that advanced civilization, once the civilization level reaches Level 2, we must proceed with societal transformation according to their way, just like you saw today—the Cyber Test Field.”

Xiao Yuanshan’s tone finally showed a hint of loss.

Xiao Yu didn’t know what the world of the past was like, but she knew the power of the three great Mother Cities. If they are so powerful, imagine the existence behind them, so she asked blankly:

”So I am also part of the Destruction plan, but can I single-handedly confront such a powerful being?”

”You are not alone.”

Xiao Yuanshan gently beckoned, thirteen vague black shadows appeared, and the seventh shadow overlapped with Xiao Yu’s figure.

”You are the No. 7 Destruction Form, theoretically, as long as all Destruction Forms are gathered, it is possible to break free from the control of that advanced civilization.”

”So that’s it!!”

”You were developed from the Empire’s Mecha Technique into a Destruction Form, so you are born with powerful close combat techniques, these close combat techniques can be used for fighting, piloting Mecha, piloting Mechanical System, these are your talents, remember, the original purpose of developing you was to pilot the Emperor!”

”Pilot the Emperor?”

”The Emperor is the Empire’s greatest achievement in mechanical technology, wherein each generation of the Emperor is the strongest Super Mechanical Body, and the strongest generation is actually the last generation developed by the Empire using Destruction technology—the Doomsday Black Emperor.”

”The energy to pilot it is the universe’s most mysterious and unfathomable ’Dark Matter’.”

”Dark Matter—”

The uneducated Little Angel didn’t have a concept of this, but she still had many questions to ask, such as who the other Destruction Forms are, or why her father’s visit to the Mother City resulted in depression, and many stories about the Empire.

But the Mechanical Armor Soldier beside her suddenly stepped forward, pressed a button on the wall, directly closing the ’Thought Box’.

Xiao Yuanshan’s figure disappeared instantly.

”What are you doing?” Little Angel was furious.

”I think what we should consider right now is how to escape.”

The Mechanical Armor Soldier calmly said, pressing several buttons, the remaining monitoring system activated, revealing a swarm of robots invading, equipped with embedded engines and implanted weapons, many robots even carried chainsaws, eerily resembling the Welfare Gang.

The only difference, these were robots, and in massive numbers.

Just the number of robots flooding the camera was no less than tens of thousands.

Xiao Yu suddenly had a terrifying thought in her mind; she finally realized where those islanders had gone.

”Finally, we have found you, Destruction Form.”

On-screen, a fanatical electronic voice echoed.

...

[Mission Complete, Experience +40000, Specialization Points +2, Random Antique Mechanical Blueprint]

”Hmm, what mission?”

Gao Gong glanced at the mission panel, remembering the task chain related to Xiao Yu’s lineage.

Oh dear, the mission target could undertake missions herself.

Soon, the second mission chain was refreshed.

[Second Ring of Mission: Xiao Yuanshan’s Thought Box]

”What on earth is a Destruction Form? Your mission updates faster than I can complete them.”

”Does it have anything to do with the place beneath my feet?”

At this time, looking at the magma opposite the glass wall, and the endless ’Star Core Dyson Sphere,’ Gao Gong realized where he was.

The still functional Earth Crust Engine.

years ago!

Or rather, the remaining database from that secret plan.
