Milotic and Treecko show great admiration for Rayquaza.

Rayquaza seems happy, grinning broadly with a joyful expression.

Naoki:”...”

Oh well, he should already be used to this kind of thing.

But speaking of which, looking at Rayquaza in its normal form, Naoki suddenly becomes curious if it can undergo Mega Evolution now?

Thinking of this, Naoki asks.

”By the way, Rayquaza.”

Rayquaza turns its head to look at him.

Naoki asks:”Can you undergo Mega Evolution now? It’s changing form, transforming into another appearance to unleash a stronger power than before.”

If he remembers correctly, Rayquaza uses the meteor energy stored within its body for Mega Evolution, and as long as it uses Dragon Ascent, it can change into the Mega form.

Upon hearing this question, Rayquaza is slightly taken aback.

It opens its mouth wide and responds:”Roar?”(You humans call that transformation Mega Evolution?)

Rayquaza’s thoughts are transmitted through telepathy.

Naoki nods:”Yes, Mega Evolution.”

Upon hearing this, the surrounding Pokemon, including Mewtwo, Dragonite, and Calyrex, all turn their gaze over.

Rayquaza shakes its head:”Roar.”(It used to be possible, but now the energy is insufficient, and I can’t transform into that form.)

Insufficient energy? Is it because the energy in the meteors Rayquaza usually consumes is too weak?

Speaking of which, Naoki suddenly thinks of a certain item from the anime.

It is an ancient, large stone containing massive primordial energy, considered by some to be the origin of Mega Evolution.

The energy within that giant stone can allow Rayquaza to undergo Mega Evolution.

However, that giant stone should now be stored in a hidden ruin in the Hoenn Region.

In the anime, Steven and Alain cooperate to unravel the mystery of the ruins and successfully enter them.

The moment that giant stone appeared, it attracted Rayquaza and even sparked a contest between Groudon and Kyogre.

Unfortunately, it was finally taken back to the Kalos Region by Lysandre to execute his evil plan.

”Rayquaza can now be considered one of us; if there’s a chance, I could help Rayquaza fight for that giant stone and give it to Rayquaza, helping it Mega Evolve and enhance its power,” Naoki thinks.

Because when the plot involving Demon God Hoopa unfolds, they will need the strength of Mega Rayquaza.

Moreover, if they seize the giant stone, it will also prevent Lysandre’s evil plan; it would be perfect.

But speaking of which, besides Rayquaza, Mewtwo can also undergo Mega Evolution.

Unlike Rayquaza, Mewtwo possesses two Mega Stones.

One can help it evolve into the X form, specializing in close combat with formidable strength.

The other helps it evolve into the Y form with terrifying spiritual power, capable of reducing skyscrapers to ashes with just a slight use of telekinesis.

What’s even more interesting is that Mewtwo was born only in modern times, yet its Mega Stones have existed in this world since ancient times.

”I wonder if Steven has any Mega Stones for Mewtwo.”

At this moment, Naoki suddenly becomes curious about Steven’s stone collection.

It must contain many Mega Stones for Pokemon.

The campfire gradually dies down, and the Pokemon on the World Tree start to show signs of fatigue.

It’s getting late, Naoki bids farewell to the Pokemon on the ranch and then, along with Calyrex, returns to the ranch to prepare for rest.

Giratina also dives into the shadows of the World Tree.

Rayquaza accepts the invitation from the Pokemon on the World Tree and stays.

Because these Pokemon still want to hear it recount its heroic tales.

Rayquaza looks around. It has a fondness for this place, filled with natural energy, and now accepting the invitation, it happily resides on the World Tree.

Meanwhile, Groudon and Kyogre are on their way here.
