”Boom!”

Metagross’s powerful arms slammed fiercely onto Camerupt.

The heavily struck Camerupt let out a painful growl, collapsing to the ground, panting heavily.

Steven frowned, looking at the defeated Maxie, and said, ”This is the end!”

Maxie’s face was full of reluctance and anger: ”How come?! I’ve come all this way, how can I fall here?!”

”No, even if I didn’t get the Treasure Pearl, with the Meteorite. I can definitely awaken Groudon!”

With that, Maxie looked down at the Meteorite in his arms.

It was what Team Magma had dug out from Meteor Falls after their plan to seize the Treasure Pearl failed.

These meteorites, which fell from space to the Earth, contained incredibly powerful energy. As long as it’s thrown into the magma, it can surely awaken Groudon!

Thinking of this, Maxie unhesitatingly threw it into the magma where Groudon was located.

Seeing this, Steven immediately tried to stop it, but it was already too late.

As the Meteorite fell into the magma, the energy within it directly reacted with the magma, causing a huge explosion, and the lava in this volcano was about to erupt!

The scorching lava began to bubble, like a boiling oil pot, splattering in all directions.

Steven’s expression was tense, and at that moment, he suddenly noticed that the Pokemon that was originally slumbering in the magma had opened its eyes at some point!

Those ancient golden pupils looked down at Maxie in front of them.

The red magma slowly flowed around its body, and then, a heavy roar came from Groudon’s mouth, sweeping a terrifying aura in all directions.

Steven’s expression became more solemn than ever: ”Metagross, be prepared!”

Nearby, Metagross swung its arms, preparing to battle the gigantic red Pokemon at any moment.

Not far away, Maxie looked extremely excited seeing Groudon awake:

”Groudon, you have finally awakened, it was I who summoned you from your slumber...”

However, before he could finish his sentence, Groudon let out an even more terrifying roar.

Immediately, the ground began to tremble, and huge rocks fell continuously from the top of the volcano.

Amidst the rumbling sound, a huge rock fell beside Steven, missing him by only a few centimeters.

Maxie was shaken to the ground, while Steven and Metagross hurriedly dodged.

When they finally found a safe spot, they suddenly discovered that Groudon’s figure was no longer visible in the magma.

A bad premonition suddenly surged in Steven’s heart.

He recalled an ancient legend circulating in the Hoenn Region, and at this moment, he completely ignored Team Magma and Maxie, flying out of the volcano on Skarmory.

Steven took out his Rotom Phone and quickly contacted the Hoenn League.

Meanwhile, deep in the underwater cavern.

The once-calm seawater suddenly surged.

At the moment Groudon awoke, the slumbering Kyogre in the underwater cavern seemed to sense something and suddenly opened its eyes.

An overwhelming aura instantly swept out.

Upon seeing this, several Team Aqua members were startled and quickly reported:

”Bo-Boss, Kyogre is awake!”

Archie, who was battling with Wallace, was equally shocked by this:

”What’s going on?! Wasn’t it sleeping?!”

Wallace twitched his lips, directing Milotic to use Waterfall on Archie while saying:

”It’s just asleep, not dead!”

The massive wave accurately struck Archie’s Sharpedo.

At this moment, Kyogre also noticed the small humans who had intruded into its cavern.

It decisively ignored them, then turned around and left the underwater cavern, swimming rapidly toward the sea surface.

Because Kyogre had sensed that Groudon was heading in that direction, seemingly intending to expand its territory!

Hoenn Region, Rustboro City.

It began to rain.

The drizzle pattered onto the streets, catching people by surprise with this sudden shower.

Trainers traveling by the roadside, a little girl out to buy ice cream, and office workers holding briefcases hurriedly sought shelter under the street shops.

The office worker shook the rain off his briefcase, muttering:

”Damn it, the weather forecast clearly said today would be a sunny day.”

Now, with the rain pouring harder, he had no way to meet his client.

The office worker anxiously glanced at his watch, hoping that this sudden rain would stop soon.

Just then, a shout suddenly came from beside him.

”Look!”

The office worker looked up in the direction pointed by a young Trainer, and then he saw a baffling scene.

The once-clear sky was now shrouded in heavy clouds, with a terrible storm brewing within, as if some great terror was about to be born.

The rain poured harder, quickly submerging Rustboro City and the surrounding towns in it.

However, compared to Rustboro City, Lavaridge Town was under a blazing sun.

The air temperature rose higher, and the sun in the sky became more glaring.

The intense heat scorched the Earth, causing some Trainers traveling outdoors to begin showing symptoms of heatstroke.
