Not Being a Trainer This Time

That is the Legendary Pokemon known to bring happiness to people, Ho-oh.

Suddenly, a breeze filled with the scent of nature blew towards it.

Feeling the rich scent of nature and vitality within it, Ho-oh was momentarily stunned.

A hint of surprise and doubt flashed in its fiery eyes, then it looked around, trying to identify the source of the energy.

But the wind vanished in an instant, as if it was all just an illusion.

Within the ozone layer.

Rayquaza, who was gnawing on Minior’s shell, suddenly stopped.

It turned its head to look around but found nothing.

A hint of confusion flashed through Rayquaza’s eyes, and it loosened its claws, its dark figure moving like lightning, sweeping towards the distance, trying to search for the source of the energy.

*

Kalos Region.

Deep within a mysterious cave.

A Pokemon that looked like a cobra, with a black and green intertwined body, suddenly opened its pale eyes.

This was Zygarde, the legendary Pokemon monitoring the ecosystem.

It is the guardian of the ecosystem, but unlike other legendary Pokemon active outside, Zygarde, known as Z, divides itself into ”Cells” and ”Cores” and spreads them across the land.

Through these cells and cores, it monitors whether the world’s ecosystem has any abnormalities.

Once a threat to the ecosystem appears, Zygarde will emerge and unleash its hidden power, mercilessly destroying all adversaries.

Currently, the ecosystem on this land has started to become precarious.

In the wild forests, there are negative energy cores shaped like giant plants everywhere.

And the culprit causing all of this, damaging the region’s order, is precisely the highly dangerous species known as ”humans”.

But now... Zygarde suddenly detected a faint yet noticeable aura.

Was that a warning released by nature and the ecosystem?

Zygarde looked puzzled.

Even though the aura was weak, it could still feel the direction it came from.

Not in Kalos Land, but in a faraway place.

After a brief silence, Zygarde made a decision.

It contacted the ”Cells” monitoring the ecosystem in the outer forest, commanding them to investigate in that direction.

Hoenn Region.

Inside a massive volcano, in this Land of Life’s End filled with high temperatures and magma, a large Pokemon with a red shell, sleeping in the lava, suddenly opened its eyes.

In the depths of the sea, within a concealed cave in a pitch-black underwater canyon, a blue fish-type Pokemon sleeping in the water also opened its eyes.

Groudon and Kyogre looked around in confusion.

Moments ago, they distinctly felt a pure natural energy.

But that energy disappeared in an instant, and when they tried to sense the direction it came from, they could no longer feel it.

Was it an illusion?

*

Beyond the entire cosmos.

In a vast, endless void.

The Creator God, silently observing the development of humans and Pokemon in these worlds, suddenly noticed an anomaly from one of them.

A light appeared in the eyes of this great being.

Subsequently, everything within that world appeared completely before its eyes.

A human named Naoki, Calyrex, the World Tree grown, Explorer Team Guild, Heroic Expedition Team, Mew, and Teddiursa...

”Explorer Team...” Arceus murmured, remembering that in the world it created, there was no such entity as an Explorer Team.

It had created many worlds, some with only humans, others with only Pokemon.

And the Explorer Team was a concept that originated in worlds populated only by Pokemon.

Yet, in those worlds where humans and Pokemon interacted and developed together, it was impossible for an Explorer Team composed solely of Pokemon to emerge.

Was it due to that human?

Causing this world to develop things that shouldn’t exist.

Thinking of this, a curious expression appeared in Arceus’ eyes.

”Interesting.”

Two words slowly came from its mouth.

Could that human and those Pokemon, by meeting, create so many intriguing things?

Even the cold and vicious Giratina could become friends with him.

Arceus postponed observing other worlds and began to focus intently on this one.

It wanted to see what other interesting things the human named Naoki could bring to it.

Reversed World.

With the end of Calyrex’s cultivation this time, the anomaly on the World Tree also gradually subsided, the green light slowly disappearing.

In the blink of an eye, this big tree returned to its original appearance.

Naoki looked up, and the detailed information of the World Tree appeared in his mind.

[World Tree (Mature Stage): A seedling that absorbed a large amount of the Power of Grass. Due to Gogoat, it experienced an anomaly during growth, with abundant life force brewing within, finally breaking through the ground. It is said to be able to support an entire world, nurturing all things with natural energy. It is still 9854 years away from full maturity.]

Seeing this number, Naoki felt delighted.

In that case, if it happens again next month, the World Tree will fully mature!
