Alliance Year 200, May 7th, Summer.

Staring at the two leaves that fell from the World Tree on the table, Naoki was lost in thought.

The Leaf of Awakening had already been made into a Leaf Green Ball by him, which just needs to be fed to Jirachi to save it from the fate of a thousand-year slumber.

And that Leaf of Life, glowing with a soft green light, could take Jirachi’s place in nurturing the Forina Region.

With it, Jirachi could set off on a journey or travel to other places for adventure.

Everything is ready except for one thing.

All that was left was for Jirachi to arrive.

It had been three days since the last phone call from the Heroic Expedition Team.

During the period, Teddiursa and Mew had reported the progress of the assignment to him.

They had successfully found Jirachi at the Pokemon Amusement Park.

Although a man named Butler tried to stop them, fortunately, they dispatched Zapdos in time, shattering Butler’s dreams with a Thunderbolt.

At this moment, the Heroic Expedition Team should be hurrying towards the ranch with Jirachi, right?

Tonight is the arrival of the millennial comet.

If Naoki wasn’t mistaken, Jirachi should also wake up tonight.

”Knock knock knock!”

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

Hearing this sound, Naoki was a bit surprised. Who would be visiting the ranch at this time?

He put down the leaf in his hand and turned to open the door.

As the door opened, the aged face of Mayor Thomas appeared at the entrance.

”Mayor Thomas?” Naoki was slightly stunned, then invited the elderly man inside to sit for a while.

However, Mayor Thomas shook his head, ”Naoki, there’s something I need your help with today.”

”Please, go ahead,” Naoki replied.

Mayor Thomas then began to explain: ”It’s about Cyclizar’s mother. That Cyclizar is already fifty-three years old and hasn’t looked well recently. I took it to the Pokemon Center for a check-up yesterday.”

”Miss Joy at the Pokemon Center said its time is almost up, and it doesn’t have much left, so I would like you to take Cyclizar to see it.”

Hearing this, Naoki was a bit shocked, ”Cyclizar’s lifespan is only fifty-something years?”

Mayor Thomas shook his head, ”Not exactly; normally Cyclizar can live a long, long time. But that Cyclizar was injured heavily while protecting me in its youth.”

”Maybe because of that incident, its body became weak, and its lifespan shortened.”

Naoki immediately understood; wasn’t this just like Alder’s Volcarona?

”I see.” Naoki turned around, took a bottle of Life Sheep Milk from the fridge, and called the unaware Cyclizar, preparing to follow Mayor Thomas to town.

”Huh?”

Cyclizar looked puzzled.

It looked at Naoki, then at Mayor Thomas. Perhaps catching a hint from his expression, Cyclizar seemed to realize something ominous.

Koraidon, who was resting in the shade not far away, noticed the situation and quickly joined them.

”Roar!”

Naoki understood Koraidon’s intention, it was saying it wanted to go too.

”Alright,” Naoki agreed and turned to tell the Indeedee Sibling, ”I’ll leave the house to you for now; I’m taking Cyclizar and Koraidon into town.”

”Indeedee,”

The siblings, a bit worried, complied obediently.

Koraidon carried Naoki, and Cyclizar carried Mayor Thomas, and they soon arrived at Mayor Thomas’s home.

At the door, Mayor Thomas looked at Cyclizar and couldn’t help but sigh:

”Little Cyclizar, go see your mother!”

The ominous feeling in Cyclizar’s heart was confirmed.

It charged into the room, with Koraidon following closely behind.

Inside, the elder Cyclizar was lying on the floor with drooping eyelids, looking listless.

Anyone could tell that it was nearing the end of its life.

Cyclizar seemed to realize something, immediately running up to the elder Cyclizar and let out an anxious growl.

”Huh!”

Hearing its offspring’s voice, the mother Cyclizar opened its eyes to look at its child.

It struggled to extend its paw, gently caressing its offspring, as if comforting it not to be sad.

Cyclizar’s eyes began to well up with tears.

”Roar...”

Seeing such a scene, Koraidon lowered its head sadly.

But soon it turned its gaze to Naoki.

Naoki took a bottle of Life Sheep Milk from his pocket and stepped toward the elder Cyclizar, feeding it with Mayor Thomas’s confused gaze.

”Don’t worry; everything will be fine.”

The once feeble mother Cyclizar, after drinking the Life Sheep Milk, suddenly felt a warm energy coursing through its body.

In an instant, it felt as if it had returned to its youthful days.

Strength welled up, and the mother Cyclizar, emerging from its previous state, let out a surprised cry, then looked curiously at its body.

”Huh?!”

”What is that...” Mayor Thomas’s eyes widened.

Cyclizar’s tears abruptly stopped, and realizing what had happened, it let out a joyous call.
