My Talent Skill Mutated

”An increase of nearly twenty thousand points!”

’Did he just wipe out a huge swarm of Level 5 mutant beasts in an instant? Or did he kill multiple Level 6 mutant beasts?!’

In an office at the Superpower Academy in the Capital City, Director Xu’s eyelid twitched as he watched the point totals change on the large screen.

He saw that Chen Yu’s score had reached over thirty-five thousand, an insurmountable lead that crushed the person in second place.

”WTF?!”

The representatives from the other regional academies were stunned to see Chen Yu’s points skyrocket in an instant.

An increase of nearly twenty thousand points all at once—what did that even mean?

That would mean annihilating a huge swarm of Level 5 mutant beasts, and all in a single instant.

Even with Level 6 mutant beasts, he would have had to kill three or four of them instantly.

To achieve something like that, one’s power would have to be at least comparable to a Seventh-level Martial Artist, perhaps even more terrifying than an ordinary one!

’Is this really the power of a first-year student?!’

You’ve got to be kidding me!

The representative from the Euro-American academy shot to his feet. Staring at the large screen, he turned his gaze to the competition official:

”He’s cheating! He must be cheating!”

But upon hearing this, Director Xu couldn’t take it anymore. He also shot to his feet, glaring at the Euro-American representative. ”What, my academy’s student is strong, so that means he’s cheating? How dare you call yourself a representative? If you’re getting senile, go home and lie down! Don’t stand here spewing bullshit!”

”You...!”

The Euro-American representative’s face contorted with rage.

”It has to be cheating! There’s something wrong with this Chen Yu. I demand the competition committee disqualify him!”

”Bullshit! Just because your students are trash, you can’t stand seeing a talented student from another academy?”

”By your logic, what’s the fucking point of this goddamn competition? Why don’t we all just pack up and let your academy take first place?”

”Cheating, my ass! Do you even have a fucking brain? Do you think the competition organizers are just a bunch of freeloaders who don’t do their jobs? With a brain that small, how the hell did you ever become a representative?”

Director Xu let loose a torrent of curses. After his elegant string of profanities, the office fell deathly silent.

The various academy representatives watched the two, unsure of what to say.

Although there was always tension between the Eastern and Western factions, this open hostility was still startling.

”You...! You...!”

The Euro-American representative trembled, glaring at Director Xu.

Director Xu shot back, ”You, you, you what? If you don’t know how to talk, then shut your damn trap! No one’s going to think you’re a fucking mute.”

”...”

The Euro-American representative’s eyes bulged as he stared at Director Xu. He wanted to speak, but it felt as though his throat was clogged. A furious flame blazed in his heart.

”Alright, everyone, please calm down.” Just then, the competition official spoke up.

The Euro-American representative was still trembling, his fists clenched tightly, but he ultimately restrained himself and sat back down.

”Representative Xu, you should sit down as well,” the official said, turning to Director Xu.

Director Xu sat down with a haughty expression, his eyes fixed on the Euro-American representative, filled with utter contempt.

No words were exchanged, but that scornful gaze from Director Xu felt like a sharp dagger piercing his heart.

As fury roiled within him, a sweet taste filled his throat.

Pfft—

A mouthful of fresh blood sprayed from his lips, and the Euro-American representative’s face instantly grew several shades paler.

”...”

’Damn, that guy’s really messed up. Old Xu’s mouth is as sharp as a razor.’

Watching the Euro-American representative spit blood, the representatives from Shanghai and the Capital City struggled to hold back their laughter. An inexplicable, satisfying thrill washed over them.

’Serves him right!’

For years, they had been suppressed by the three major regions. Today, they finally got to blow off some steam.

”Representative Mike, there is no issue with this student’s score.”

”He truly possesses that level of power. The competition committee can guarantee it.”

The competition official said, looking at the Euro-American representative.

Hearing this, Representative Mike’s face turned even paler.

’If the competition committee itself said so, then anything else he might say would be futile.’

”So? You believe it now?” Director Xu said haughtily. ”Next time, try using your brain before you speak. If you’re getting old, you should just retire.”

”You...”

Representative Mike clenched his fists, his pale face flushing crimson. A breath caught in his chest; he wanted to say something but couldn’t force the words out.

The facts spoke for themselves!

The committee’s confirmation was undeniable proof!

”Hmph.”

With a resentful snort, Representative Mike turned his gaze back to the large screen.

Director Xu didn’t bother kicking him while he was down and also turned his attention to the screen.

...

’It went up by that much...’

’What kind of monster is he?’

In the Lola Mountain Anomaly, student after student fell silent as they watched the points on the leaderboard skyrocket.

’A sudden jump of nearly twenty thousand points... just how many powerful mutant beasts did he have to kill...?’

In a valley, several students wore grim expressions.

”Jack, Chen Yu’s score has shot up so much. It’s going to be almost impossible to catch him now,” one student said.

Hearing this, the muscles on the face of the blond young man in the center of the group contorted. He stared at Chen Yu’s point total and clenched his fists.

”Hmph, this damn Easterner just got lucky. It’s not over yet. It’s still not certain who will win or lose.”

”Let’s go! Keep scouting!”

With that, his figure flickered and shot into the distance. The other students exchanged a look, then flickered and followed after him.

...

「The City of Ruins.」

It had now truly become a field of ruins.

The Destructive Celestial Light had annihilated more than half the city. The ground was shattered, with cracks spreading out like a spiderweb, and there were even fissures as deep as the Abyss.

Chen Yu’s figure slowly descended. His Celestial Destiny Skill frantically absorbed Spiritual Qi, replenishing the Qi within his body.
