Chapter 532: Chapter 532: Difficult to be a Hostage (27)

As tensions climaxed between both parties, another rider approached rapidly.

Chen Fei halted before Chuzheng: “Thirteenth Prince, His Highness summons you.”

Chuzheng glanced at the individual opposite her, then at Chen Fei: “Lead the way.”

The Good Person Card could not be declined.

Even in flight, don’t forget the Good Person Card!!

“Yes.”

–

Chen Fei led Chuzheng to a residence hidden deep within the woods; without venturing inside, no one would notice its existence.

Chen Fei guided Chuzheng inside.

They traversed the lengthy corridor and garden to reach a room.

Chen Fei knocked on the door: “Your Highness, the Thirteenth Prince has arrived.”

“Enter.”

Lian Qiong’s voice, slightly altered, floated through the door.

Chen Fei pushed the door open and gestured for Chuzheng to enter.

The room was spacious and tastefully furnished.

Chuzheng didn’t see anyone but noticed smoke wafting from behind the screen.

“Thirteenth Prince, could you please help me with my clothes?” Lian Qiong’s voice came from behind the screen, melodious and alluring.

It made one incapable of refusing his request.

Chuzheng saw the clothes laid aside and, after a few seconds, picked them up and walked towards the screen.

She turned directly to see a man soaking in a bathtub, steam rising, his forearm resting on the edge, faintly pink.

The man’s eyes smiled, addressing her intimately: “Thirteenth Prince.”

Chuzheng set down the clothes, her gaze landing on his exposed chest: “How did you know I left the Imperial City?”

The man turned slightly, resting his hands on the edge of the tub, his wet hair fanning out in the water like spilled ink.

He rested his chin on his hands, and water droplets slowly slid over his shoulders.

He didn’t need to do anything special.

Merely a look, a gesture, was seductive.

“It’s not hard for me to find out anything I want to know.”

“You summoned me here to watch you bathe?” How was she to take the Good Person Card away with her?

Lian Qiong chuckled softly, his voice seemingly tempting: “Doesn’t the Thirteenth Prince want to watch?”

He stretched out his hand, his moist fingertips touching the back of Chuzheng’s hand: “Didn’t you say you fancied me, hm?”

His fingertip circled on the back of her hand, hooking her palm, and slowly pulling it towards him.

He exerted a little force to pull Chuzheng closer.

“Jin Country and Wei Country are already at war, courting me further is useless,” Chuzheng stated calmly: “Stop trying to seduce me.”

Lian Qiong paused.

Then he chuckled: “So you knew all along.”

From the start, his intention was to court her, to make use of Wei Country.

But…

He found his attention increasingly focused on her.

He, as a man, discovered his affection for another man.

It was agony for him.

Torture.

And yet… a secret thrill.

Even more so, it was only when he thought of him that he felt any stirrings.

Nobody else would suffice, save for him.

Chuzheng withdrew her hand, slowly crouched down to meet the man eye level: “Whatever you wanted to do, I have now helped you accomplish it.”

The smile faded from Lian Qiong’s face.

Suddenly, the room fell silent.

Lian Qiong could hear his heartbeat, each thud as clear as if it were hammering next to his ear.

——Whatever you wanted to do, I have now helped you accomplish it.

What did he really want to do?

Chuzheng reached out, her fingertips caressing his refined features, gliding down his forehead to rest on the tip of his nose, and finally pressing against his lips.

She leaned in a bit closer: “So now I should take back a little interest.”

Lian Qiong’s pupils contracted, the warmth on his lips robbing him of breath, forgetting all appropriate reactions, he remained frozen in place.

Chuzheng supported his shoulder with one hand while the other cradled the back of his head, bestowing a dizzying kiss.

“Be good, open your mouth.”

Lian Qiong bit down hard, it was unclear whether it was out of nervousness or some other emotion.

Chuzheng’s voice exploded in his ears, and it was only then that he seemed to realize what was happening.

“You…”

The word “you” was silenced by Chuzheng.

He could see Chuzheng’s long eyelashes gently resting on his eyelids, obscuring the light in his eyes.

His heartbeat and his blood were boiling.

He was kissing him…

The secret excitement and joy kept surging upwards, almost taking over his reason.

–

Lian Qiong felt short of breath, and he pushed Chuzheng away with one hand. Chuzheng pecked him a few more times before letting go.

Lian Qiong’s lips were red and swollen from the kissing. He wiped them with his hand, grabbed some clothes beside him, and without a care whether Chuzheng could see or not, he got up, draped them over himself, and stepped out of the bathtub.

His bare feet touched the ground, and the long shirt covered his body.

The silhouette of his body beneath the long shirt was faintly discernible, provoking all sorts of wild thoughts.

Lian Qiong didn’t even bother to dry himself before starting to dress.

Chuzheng stopped him, “Dry off before you dress.”

Lian Qiong’s gaze turned elsewhere, “Will you help me dry off?”

Chuzheng didn’t refuse, he took a dry towel next to him, helped Lian Qiong take off his clothes, and dried him thoroughly.

At first, Lian Qiong felt awkward, but then he thought that since they were both men, even in that aspect… they were both men. He had what the other had, there was nothing that couldn’t be seen.

“Thirteenth Prince, won’t you lend me a hand?”

“What?”

Lian Qiong gave a sidelong glance at the proud little fellow, “It’s excited because of you, after all.”

Lian Qiong was, after all, ranked first on the Imperial City’s list of rakes; when it came to being a scoundrel, he was second to none.

“Third Prince, it’s your lack of control, not my problem,” Chuzheng said. “It’s not attached to me.”

“If you didn’t kiss me, it wouldn’t be like this,” Lian Qiong raised an eyebrow. “Is the Thirteenth Prince intending to deny responsibility?”

Chuzheng thought for a moment, “Then kiss me back.”

Lian Qiong: “…”

I’ve already suffered a loss, am I to suffer another?!

Do I look like a fool to myself?!

“Will you kiss me?”

“No,” Lian Qiong turned his head away and picked up his clothes to dress himself.

Chuzheng sighed inwardly.

Tricking a Good Person Card into a kiss is a bit tricky.

Lian Qiong dressed quickly, without so much as a glance at Chuzheng, and walked straight past the screen and out.

Chuzheng heard a loud crash outside.

Going out to look, he saw that Lian Qiong had kicked over a table, everything on it smashed to the ground, porcelain shattered everywhere.

Lian Qiong was somehow angry.

Chuzheng: “…”

What the hell is wrong with the Good Person Card?

Lian Qiong kicked a piece of porcelain on the ground, feeling incredibly annoyed.

He could actually fancy men!

Damn!

“You…” Lian Qiong turned around, looked at Chuzheng, opened his lips, and then swallowed back what he was about to say: “You stay here for now, no one will find this place.”

With Jin Country and Wei Country at war, Chuzheng, Wei Country’s hostage, was bound to become a sacrificial piece.

Having said that, Lian Qiong walked out as if something were chasing him, disappearing in an instant.

“Your Highness…” Chen Fei was still in front of him: “Why did you come out with wet hair? With this weather, it’s easy to catch a cold…”

Chen Fei’s words suddenly stopped.

His gaze fell on Lian Qiong’s lips.

Lian Qiong’s lips were slightly red and swollen, which was clearly abnormal.

“It’s only you who talks too much, always cursing your Family Head to fall sick,” Lian Qiong said gruffly, his head lowered.

“Your Highness…” Chen Fei hesitated: “Are you alright?”

Chen Fei’s tentative manner made Lian Qiong think of something. He touched his lips with his hand, “What could be wrong with me.”

Chen Fei: “…” It looks like a big problem to me!!
