Chapter 503: Chapter 503 Blood Clan Queen (32)

“Your Highness, something has happened.”

Su Ji walked up to Chuzheng and spoke in a hushed voice.

Chuzheng left the crowd, and as Su Ji passed Bruno, he said with an unclear meaning, “Lord Father, you should come too.”

Bruno: “???”

–

In a side hall of the banquet.

Zhi Kong sat in a chair, a knife dripping with blood in his hand, his eyes ferocious and alert.

A member of the Blood Clan, clutching his arm, stood in the middle, his face ashen.

A few Blood Clan members stood between the two, effectively keeping them apart.

“Lord Father!” cried a Blood Clan member upon seeing Bruno, “This human has a lot of nerve, he actually dared to…”

Slap—

Bruno slapped him across the face.

The Blood Clan member looked at Bruno in disbelief.

“Lord Father…”

“You fool!” Bruno cursed loudly.

Chuzheng paid no attention to them and walked towards Zhi Kong.

The youth saw her, released the knife, and hugged her willingly.

He turned his face to the side, revealing one eye.

That black eye, like the depths of endless darkness.

At this moment, that eye was staring straight at him.

The look in the eye made the Blood Clan shiver.

It had been the same just before.

He hadn’t done anything to him yet, when suddenly, he pulled out a strange knife and wounded himself.

Chuzheng pulled his hand away and crouched down, looking up at him, “Did he hurt you?”

Zhi Kong shook his head.

“Then did he touch you?”

Zhi Kong pursed his lips and pointed at his sleeve, “He touched my sleeve.”

Chuzheng glanced at it, “It’s nothing.”

“Your Highness, this fool didn’t know this person was brought by you,” Bruno, dragging the Blood Clan member, said, “Won’t you admit your mistake?”

“Your Highness… I…”

“No need,” Chuzheng, holding Zhi Kong’s hand, said with an indifferent expression as if the matter was of no consequence.

Bruno was inwardly baffled, Why was His Highness so easy to talk to today?

The Blood Clan member sighed with relief, thinking to himself that it couldn’t be that serious—it was just a human, after all.

Zhi Kong felt a slight sinking feeling in his heart.

Why would she cause trouble with the Blood Clan over such a trivial matter?

Chuzheng helped Zhi Kong up and walked out, with Zhi Kong offering no resistance and letting her lead him away.

Su Ji followed Chuzheng outside.

Bruno glared at the Blood Clan member, “You’ve really done it this time!”

“But His Highness didn’t pursue it,” said the Blood Clan, nonchalantly, “You hit me just for this.”

“I can’t afford to take His Highness lightly right now, and you dare to touch someone His Highness brought, you must have the courage of a bear and a leopard!” Bruno retorted.

“How was I supposed to know he was brought by His Highness?!” the Blood Clan member protested.

“You…”

“Lord Father, elder brother,” Su Ji came back with a few Blood Clan members.

“Su Ji…” Bruno softened his angry expression, “What did His Highness say?”

With a smile on his baby face, Su Ji said, “His Highness said, whichever hand elder brother touched him with, he can keep that hand. Considering our past relations, you can choose one hand yourself, elder brother. I won’t tell His Highness.”

Bruno: “…”

Blood Clan: “…”

–

Zhi Kong leaned against Chuzheng, looking at the receding scenery outside the car window.

Chuzheng took off his jacket, “Not happy?”

“I wouldn’t dare, Your Highness,” Zhi Kong replied in a muffled voice.

“He touched you, and I had Su Ji cut off his arm. Are you still not satisfied? Then I’ll have Su Ji kill him.”

Zhi Kong was momentarily stunned.

So she had sent Su Ji back for this?

A wave of warmth suddenly passed through his heart.

His entire heart was filled to the brim.

Just as Chuzheng was about to call Su Ji, Zhi Kong quickly took hold of her, “I didn’t mean… don’t… I’m sorry, I thought you wouldn’t mind others in the Blood Clan touching me.”

“You’re mine, and no one else is allowed to touch you.”

Zhi Kong looked up.

The youth reached out, touched her cheek, and his fingertips moved slowly, as if tracing her features.

Cold and heat intertwined.

The car stopped, and the boy withdrew his hand in fright.

Chuzheng got out of the car, took him back, and laid him on the wide bed. In the dark surroundings, there was only the sound of the boy’s breathing, light at times and heavy at others.

Zhi Kong suddenly pressed against Chuzheng’s shoulder, “Will you have other humans?”

“Hmm?”

“Will you do this kind of thing with other humans?” Zhi Kong asked seriously.

“No.”

“Nor drink anyone else’s blood?”

“No.”

“Then have you ever before?”

“No.”

“And you’ve never drunk anyone else’s blood?”

“…” Chuzheng propped himself up, “I am a member of the Blood Clan, I need blood.”

“…” The boy’s breathing briefly faltered, and after a moment, he asked, “Have you ever drunk it like that?”

Chuzheng, “Like what?”

“Like last time.”

“No.” Chuzheng was a bit annoyed, “Can I kiss you now?”

Zhi Kong, feeling very good, nodded, “Mmm.”

–

Zhi Kong lay on the bed, his shirt slipping down to his shoulders, exposing ample skin and a slender neck.

“Why don’t you drink?” he asked the person beside him.

Since that time, she had never drunk his blood again.

He could feel that she really wanted to bite, but she never broke the skin, at most leaving teeth marks.

Chuzheng scooped him up and held him, “I’m not hungry.”

With a movement from the boy, the shirt slipped further down to his elbow.

“I’m not afraid of pain, you can bite.” The boy extended his neck voluntarily.

Chuzheng covered him up, “Sleep.”

After Zhi Kong fidgeted for a while and realized Chuzheng really did not plan to bite him, he gradually calmed down.

He lay in Chuzheng’s arms, his body cold and heart silent.

Blood Clan members have hearts, but they do not beat.

They are like a corpse.

–

Bruno’s eldest son offended His Highness, had an arm chopped off, and was not allowed to regenerate, forced to be one-armed from then on.

The incident spread quickly among the Blood Clan.

At first, no one knew why.

But soon, news spread that it was because he had touched a human near His Highness.

That human was His Highness’s forbidden territory.

Touching was off-limits, let alone speaking; being found out meant punishment.

Chuzheng cherished that human so much.

The Blood Clan became restless.

Hadn’t the matter with Xia Ci taught His Highness a bloody lesson?

And yet he still dared to cherish a human so.

However, before the Blood Clan had time to worry about that, they discovered that His Highness was not just cherishing the human but was treating him like a royal spouse.

In the history of the Blood Clan, there had never been a precedent for a human to be the royal spouse.

The Blood Clan members signed a petition in protest.

The petition lay on Chuzheng’s desk.

Chuzheng was too lazy to look at it.

“They don’t like me,” Zhi Kong leafed through the protest letters, “They all oppose you, aren’t you worried?”

“What is there to fear? Rebellion?” Chuzheng’s face was indifferent, “I look forward to them rebelling.”

I’m not even keen on this queen’s throne!

If anyone rebels, I’d help them!!

But there are none!

Not every Blood Clan member who has ideas is like Karlo, daring to take that step.

Isn’t it frustrating?

“Do you really want to make me the royal spouse?” Zhi Kong had not heard her say this, but now it was the talk of the outside world.

“Do you have an opinion?”

I’ve never even thought about it, heaven knows how it started spreading out there!

But of course, I can’t admit it, how embarrassing would that be!

“Your Highness, Zhi Kong doesn’t dare,” the boy’s lips curved into a smile.
