Chapter 936: Chapter 932: The Savage Demon Blade!

The people closest to the scene were already drenched in blood, with shattered internal organs falling out, endlessly impacting everyone’s hearts and reaching the limits of their visual tolerance.

At that moment, screams continuously echoed at the scene, and all order was like sandcastles washed away by waves under the human instinct to survive, leaving no trace!

At this moment, the villagers had forgotten what rules were left by their ancestors, clearing all thoughts from their minds apart from one—escape!

Escape from this somewhat terrifying place, the further the better!

Watching the increasingly chaotic scene, Xiao Tian immediately grabbed Xiang Yiting and Adison Claire. The stunned women seemed like two zombies, letting him weave through the crowd, away from the dangerous deep well.

Once they reached a relatively safer spot, Xiang Yiting and Adison Claire regained their senses from their stupor, but their reactions surprised Xiao Tian.

Of course, vomiting from nausea was unavoidable, but both Xiang Yiting and Adison Claire quickly recovered after vomiting, although their faces appeared pale and somewhat traumatized.

Nonetheless, for the two girls, this was already a remarkable feat. Many men faced with such situations performed far worse than Xiang Yiting and Adison Claire.

This wasn’t to say that the girls were inherently more resilient than others; after brief reflection, Xiao Tian found it understandable.

Xiang Yiting was studying medicine and, although not in forensic science, had undoubtedly been exposed to things beyond common reach, granting her significant mental endurance.

Adison Claire had faced significant upheaval herself, with mental endurance far beyond the ordinary.

With these combined factors, the girls’ quick recovery seemed less surprising.

”What just happened to that person?” Xiang Yiting forced out the question while suppressing the turmoil in her stomach.

Xiao Tian shook his head, uncertain as he replied, ”I’m not entirely sure, but it seemed like some kind of knife quickly split that person in half.”

”So what should we do next?” Adison Claire donned her mask again and asked with furrowed brows, ”Should we take advantage of the chaos and leave quickly?”

Before Xiao Tian could respond, Xiang Yiting’s eyes brightened, clearly agreeing with Adison Claire’s proposal.

To Xiao Tian, leaving or staying mattered little at this moment, but driven by curiosity, he couldn’t help but glance back to see Fujiwara Daisuke carefully observing the surroundings and lighting up upon seeing him.

”Please lend a helping hand!”

Fujiwara Daisuke pleaded with all his might, raising the Star Staff to bear the immense pressure from above, his gaze locked onto Xiao Tian, appearing as if he’d grabbed a lifesaver.

At this moment, Fujiwara Daisuke was acutely aware of his condition; he couldn’t withstand the Demon Blade at the bottom of the well until the older generation arrived.

Xiao Tian’s gaze shifted as he wordlessly pulled Xiang Yiting and Adison Claire into a nearby house, warning them not to move recklessly, before swiftly returning to the scene.

Arriving by Fujiwara Daisuke’s side, Xiao Tian looked up at the rusted long knife suspended mid-air. It looked like a blade used by a Ninja, albeit with slightly different details, yet glancing at it evoked a sense of ancient wear, suggesting it was quite aged.

Seeing Xiao Tian’s puzzlement, Fujiwara Daisuke was both relieved and hurriedly said, ”Thank you for your forgiveness, I’ll explain this in detail later. For now, please join me in resisting the onslaught of the Demon Blade until the elders of my clan arrive; things will be much easier then.”

”Demon Blade?!”

Xiao Tian was immediately taken aback, for no weapon would generally be named after a demon unless the weapon’s creator had extremist thoughts or the weapon had been used to commit unimaginable atrocities.

The former was acceptable, but if it were the latter, then that would be a troublesome matter...

As Xiao Tian pondered, he noticed the rusty long knife in the air begin to vibrate and its frequency quicken, producing a swishing sound as it cut through the air.

Meanwhile, the rust on the blade began to rapidly fall off; within a few breaths, the blade was restored to a silvery white, gleaming sharply and appearing unstoppable!

”Be careful!”

Fujiwara Daisuke cautioned, then launched an attack, driving the energy of the Star Staff to confront the Demon Blade.

However, unexpectedly, almost simultaneously as Fujiwara Daisuke launched his attack, the flashing blade instantly pierced forth, narrowly missing the Star Staff’s strike, leaving it unscathed!

After missing the mark, Fujiwara Daisuke’s expression changed, quickly retracting the Star Staff but suddenly feeling a bone-chilling cold strike the back of his neck, the icy wind biting like a dull knife, causing stinging pain.

In intense fear, Fujiwara Daisuke instinctively wanted to duck and dodge past the gust of cold wind.

Yet, before he could act on this thought, a loud ”clang” resonated, like a hammer striking metal, painfully jolting his eardrums and leaving his mind in a fog.

Moments later, an angry, desperate shout pulled him back from his daze...

”Why are you not dodging?!”

Fujiwara Daisuke quickly turned to look and saw Xiao Tian using his right fist to deflect the sharp Demon Blade, gripping his right wrist with his left hand, looking strained and as if he might lose grip any moment.

Seeing this, Fujiwara Daisuke wasted no time, quickly retreating out of the Demon Blade’s strike range while repeatedly wielding the Star Staff towards the blade’s hilt.

”Clang!”

After another resounding impact, the Demon Blade was forcibly redirected once more, flying back into the sky.

Xiao Tian finally had a moment to catch his breath, calming his rampant breathing while marvelling at the ferocity of the Demon Blade!

Just moments ago, in desperation, Xiao Tian used True Qi to envelop his fist to block the attack, distinctly hearing the miserable wails of countless souls, the sound mourning and sobbing, subtly disturbing his breathing and inducing profound unease.

Moreover, the murderous and savage aura was something Xiao Tian had never felt in any other weapon before, truly formidable to an extreme.
