God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Chapter 559: Chapter 556: Professional Instructor

Because, although this training volume is enough to be considered a challenge to human limits, it’s crucial to realize that greater training intensity doesn’t necessarily equate to better results; the two cannot be directly linked.

Moreover, if one trains according to those projects and repetitions listed on the wall for a prolonged period, injuries like shoulder periarthritis, herniated discs, and even cervical damage could occur.

As for the seemingly inhumane devil training program of Xiao Tian, it is actually quite diverse, and such things can’t be rigidly copied because the trainees are humans, not machines.

Since they are humans, physical quality, thinking patterns, and specializations naturally vary among different individuals.

Under such circumstances, being able to tailor a training program based on each person’s unique situation is the fundamental skill required of a competent coach!

”Who came up with this plan?” Xiao Tian asked somewhat displeased.

Zong Jian heard the dissatisfaction in Xiao Tian’s tone but still answered, ”Zhou Huchen, a well-known iron-fist coach from our provincial bureau!”

”If I’m not mistaken, the team led by this iron-fist coach should have a significant disparity in overall strength, right?”

Xiao Tian earnestly concluded, ”The strength of the team members is polarized - the strong are very strong, while the weak are very weak; and this overall gap in strength is so vast that it can’t be compensated by individual capabilities.”

Upon hearing Xiao Tian’s extremely confident tone, the crowd was astonished and turned their gaze to Zong Jian, seeking confirmation.

Zong Jian was immediately surprised, as Xiao Tian had never met this iron-fist coach, let alone understood the strength of the team he had trained.

Could he really judge the previous achievements of their coach just from these people’s training?

Isn’t that somewhat fantastical?!

Recalling past special forces competitions held with other provincial public security bureaus, Zong Jian reached an incredible conclusion!

What Xiao Tian had previously mentioned perfectly matched the past performances of the special forces, with no discrepancy.

In previous team competitions, the special task force from Qing Province Public Security Bureau nearly couldn’t reach the finals threshold, and even when they did by chance, they were eliminated in the first round.

Upon searching for the reasons, it was just as Xiao Tian judged: the team had uneven skill levels, creating a gap so wide that it was impossible to compensate, making defeat inevitable!

Contrasting with the constant defeats in team competitions was the personal contests where Qing Province Public Security Bureau’s special task force performed excellently.

Even if they did not win the championship a few times, they still achieved impressive results, and in recent years, have consistently won the top three positions, leading people to reflect deeply - could it really be that extremes bring opposites?

Qing Province Public Security Bureau’s special task force is in shambles in team competitions but shines brightly in individual contests, perfectly validating the wisdom of that saying!

Previously, Zong Jian and others from other provincial public security bureaus believed this was fate; perhaps in team competitions, Qing Province Public Security Bureau was destined to not win first place.

But in compensation, achieving remarkable results in personal contests could be seen as a corresponding reward!

After all, other bottom-ranked provincial public security bureaus had it much worse, almost always accompanying participation as a backdrop, using their weakness to accentuate the strength of others!

Now, upon hearing Xiao Tian’s analysis linking the training program and team defeats, might there be an inherent connection between the two?

”It’s indeed just as Young Master Zhong said; there’s no discrepancy!” Zong Jian reluctantly nodded in acknowledgment, with the crowd looking incredulously at Xiao Tian, pondering if he had some prophetic ability.

”Could you explain how you reached this conclusion?” Zong Jian now genuinely admired Xiao Tian, humbly seeking guidance.

”It’s very simple!” Xiao Tian, observing the perplexed faces that hadn’t grasped the concept, continued, ”Let me give you an example!”

The crowd focused on Xiao Tian, waiting for him to reveal how he deduced the past performance of Qing Province Public Security Bureau’s special task force.

”Yang Qiang!”

Xiao Tian shouted, causing Yang Qiang and the people present to be puzzled - wasn’t an example to be provided? Why did he start calling names?

Yang Qiang instinctively stepped forward, ”Present!”

”Chang Wenjie!”

As Xiao Tian named him, a thin and weak-looking man stepped forward and responded, ”Present!”

The crowd looked puzzled at the two individuals, one muscular and the other emaciated, unsure of Xiao Tian’s intent.

”Two hundred push-ups each!”

With these words, Yang Qiang solemnly acknowledged and began executing Xiao Tian’s command, although he, too, was curious about Xiao Tian’s purpose; all he needed to do was follow orders!

This was a trust from the heart and a genuine submission!

However, Chang Wenjie looked troubled, ”Tian, Brother Tian, I can only do fifty at most!”

This comment elicited laughter from the crowd, and Xiao Tian halted Yang Qiang from continuing his push-ups, explaining, ”Look, my requirements for the two of them were the same, yet the feedback and results varied greatly!”

For a moment, the crowd sensed the meaning behind Xiao Tian’s words but hadn’t fully grasped it, so they listened as he continued.

”Think, although we emphasize treating everyone equally, you must realize everyone’s circumstances cannot be entirely the same.”

Xiao Tian explained, ”Just as I asked them both to do push-ups, Yang Qiang could easily complete my plan, but for Chang Wenjie, it’s incredibly difficult!”

Conversely, if I hadn’t asked them to do push-ups but to perform programming, Yang Qiang would likely show the same expression as Chang Wenjie!”

At this point, the crowd finally comprehended Xiao Tian’s meaning: indeed, sometimes the differences between people are just this vast!

While reigning supreme in their fields, if placed in an area others specialize in, they’ll be exposed.

”I still don’t understand.” Zong Jian frowned as he questioned, ”According to Young Master Zhong’s perspective, there can never be identical standards for people, so how can we conduct training?”

”We can’t treat a team differently individually; doing so might result in worse outcomes than now!” Zong Jian prudently decided.

”Excellent question!” Xiao Tian’s eyes lit up, ”Of course, you can’t conduct differentiation; training individuals this way could yield outstanding results, but in a team, it would turn the group into complete chaos!”
