Chapter 491: Chapter 488: Plummeting Strength

The leader, somewhat exasperated, slapped the man to his left who had asked the question. This brother was good in every way except for his incorrigible lecherousness. However, this time it was understandable, as even he felt a twinge at the sight!

”Finish the task first before speaking!” The leader reassured his subordinate, who was rubbing his head, saying, ”Kill Xiao Tian first, then do whatever you want!”

The man on the left gave an excited smile, but was interrupted by the man on the right: ”Boss, look, that kid doesn’t seem to have any power to fight back, so why not...”

”Spit it out if you’ve got something to say!”

The leader instantly gave a slap to the man on his right as well; he detested people who spoke half-sentences, their hesitance simply maddening!

”Why don’t we, right in front of that kid...” The man on the right leered, ”I think it’ll be even more exciting!”

Hearing this, Lin Bingxuan’s eyes immediately showed nervousness, and for the first time, her gentle eyes revealed a flame of anger. Was it really a crime to be good-looking?

She had largely taken up learning martial arts from Xiao Tian to deal with people like this. Thinking of her grappling techniques, Lin Bingxuan gained some confidence and intended to teach these three hooligans a lesson!

Just as she was about to stand, Xiao Tian pulled her back: ”You’re no match for those three!”

Xiao Tian, although devoid of True Qi, still had his observational skills. Though the three weren’t top-class experts, he didn’t even need to regain full strength; even just one-fifth would be enough to handle them easily!

But firstly, he currently did not have even one-fifth of his strength, and secondly, Lin Bingxuan wasn’t capable of overcoming one-fifth of his own strength.

At this moment, the leader chuckled sinisterly and praised: ”I didn’t expect you’d have such ideas!”

”Alright! Since it’s your idea, you get the first shot at it!”

Hearing the boss’s decision, the man on the left felt immense regret while the man on the right was wildly happy, leering slowly as he advanced toward Lin Bingxuan.

Seeing the assailant’s unrestrained grin, Xiao Tian felt an unprecedented urgent desire to regain his strength.

One needs a certain amount of strength, no matter what, because even if you can’t win, you need strength to run, right?

Thinking of this, Xiao Tian mobilized the small amount of True Qi he had just recovered, forming a spherical True Qi bomb and hurled it fiercely toward his Dantian.

Xiao Tian didn’t hesitate for even a split second.

His entire body trembled again and blood spurted out, causing Lin Bingxuan to weep painfully, her own danger forgotten as she saw him bleed.

Feeling the force drawn out of him once more, Xiao Tian gave Lin Bingxuan a reassuring smile and gently said, ”Be good, close your eyes.”

Lin Bingxuan was startled; unsure of what Xiao Tian wanted to do, but trustingly closed her beautiful eyes.

The approaching man, initially cautious because the opponent was ranked tenth on the Dark List and might make a pyrrhic attempt, walked with extreme caution, attentive to every move.

But upon seeing Xiao Tian cough up blood, he completely let his guard down, and hearing Xiao Tian tell Lin Bingxuan to shut her eyes, his grin grew even more debauched: ”Right, right! It’s more thrilling with her eyes closed, sweetheart!”

Then he turned his gaze to Xiao Tian, whose face was covered in blood, and mocked: ”I think you should close your eyes too, so you don’t have to witness that blood-pumping scene later.”

”To be honest, you really are in for...”

Before he finished speaking, he saw Xiao Tian suddenly stand up without warning. In his horror, his lascivious smile remained frozen as Xiao Tian crushed his head with a punch, splattering flesh and turning the white wall scarlet!

The remaining two, upon seeing their laughing brother silenced in a moment, had their heads smashed like watermelons before they could even scream, feeling a chill of terror, almost losing control of themselves.

Although Xiao Tian’s recovered strength was meager, it was more than sufficient to deal with those three.

But the cost was grave, as the True Qi bomb had left a crack in Xiao Tian’s Dantian, which would need timely repairing, or it would cause endless trouble.

”Now it’s your turn!”

Xiao Tian, without wasting words, speedily approached the remaining two; in truth, he had no time for idle talk, as every word now was a burden!

He grabbed the leader, who was turning to flee, and kneed him in the stomach repeatedly until he fainted from pain before releasing him.

Seemingly still unsatisfied, Xiao Tian stomped on the leader’s head, making it explode like the other, the white and red mixture splattering all over, even covering the last man trying to flee with blood, causing a sudden warm stream to gush from his crotch!

”Mercy, have mercy, grandpa!”

The last man, appearing even fatter than the other two, knelt down, slapped his cheeks repeatedly, desperate as Xiao Tian walked toward him, his desire to escape entirely vanished!

Repulsed, Xiao Tian grabbed his collar and, amidst screams, flew them out of the thirteenth-floor window, exiting in the same way he had entered.

The only difference was he climbed in but flew out!

After dealing with the last person, Xiao Tian exhausted all his strength, his power plummeting rapidly; the backlash from overexertion hitting at this critical moment!

Lin Bingxuan, unconcerned about the gore, quickly ran to where Xiao Tian had fallen, holding him: ”Don’t move, let me help you...”

Unaware that Lin Bingxuan had recently had a fortuitous encounter, Xiao Tian still waved her words away.

The backlash Xiao Tian sustained was truly severe, and feeling a loss of higher capabilities of his cultivation technique, he could only bitterly smile at the timely backlash!

Meanwhile, his strength faded at a palpable pace, and in an instant, he’d lost two-fifths of his True Qi capacity, effectively eliminating nearly half his strength, and showing no sign of stopping!

The backlash came quickly and subsided just as fast; when Iron Chain Cross River, his core cultivation technique, dropped from the second layer to mid-first layer, the decline finally halted.

The final result was hard to bear; not only did the cultivation technique regress by a whole major stage, but also his strength and True Qi capacity were halved, making Xiao Tian’s heartache drip with blood!
