Chapter 442: Chapter 439: The Power of Homophones

”Alright, you can go now!” Although Lu Kai felt something was off, he didn’t think much of it.

At this moment, he was eager to watch Le Yaoyao and a group of female models from the company getting into the bath, hardly caring to pursue anything else.

Ren Wenshan walked towards the door in large strides, feeling greatly relieved, and kept praying that Lu Kai wouldn’t make him stop!

Unfortunately, his prayers didn’t seem to work. Just as his hand grasped the door handle, that familiar voice rang out again.

”Wait!”

Lu Kai’s irritated voice came from behind him. Ren Wenshan was inwardly anguished, but he had to turn around and ask, ”Young Master Lu, do you have any other instructions?”

”Come here!” Lu Kai gestured with his hand and, seeing Ren Wenshan acting bashful as he did before, slammed the table, ”Are you a woman? Hurry up!”

Ren Wenshan was startled by Lu Kai’s table slam and quickly walked over, bowing slightly, and asked, ”What, what’s going on?”

”See for yourself!” Lu Kai abruptly turned the computer screen toward Ren Wenshan, who almost wet his pants upon hearing the familiar conversation!

Ren Wenshan resolved that no matter what surprising scene he saw this time, he wouldn’t utter a word.

Looking at the screens showing empty bathrooms, Ren Wenshan felt cold sweat pouring from his forehead. What the hell is wrong with these people from Shanghai? They finish performing and don’t shower?

Still, he braced himself to explain, ”Perhap, perhaps they haven’t started showering yet?”

”Haven’t started showering?” Lu Kai was furious, almost wanting to kick the person in front of him to death, and roared, ”Since they returned to the hotel, it’s been almost half an hour, and you’re telling me they still haven’t started showering?”

Upon hearing Lu Kai, Ren Wenshan instinctively checked his wristwatch. Lu Kai was indeed right; based on the time, they should have started. Yet, none of the bathroom screens showed any signs of activity.

This made Ren Wenshan’s back feel cold. Even if they all finished showering, it wouldn’t be so synchronized, right?

There should be one or two still in the bathroom, shouldn’t there?

Thinking of this, Ren Wenshan quickly switched to the Water Drop camera above the hotel’s king-size bed, yet still couldn’t find anyone.

”May, maybe they went out and haven’t returned yet?” Ren Wenshan awkwardly explained.

”I don’t care; if I don’t see what I want tonight, you can forget about going back!”

After saying that, Lu Kai lay down on the sofa, preparing for a nap. Before sleeping, he instructed Ren Wenshan on the other side, ”Wake me when they return, or if they don’t, you won’t be going back either!”

Filled with grievances but unable to protest, Ren Wenshan could only meticulously begin executing the task Lu Kai had assigned him.

For half an hour, Ren Wenshan’s eyes were glued to the screen until he felt his eyes would go blind, yet there was still no movement in Le Yaoyao’s room.

The long duration of keen concentration made Ren Wenshan feel the screen picture beginning to split into two, and soon waves of drowsiness overcame him...

After more than an hour passed, Ren Wenshan’s head slipped off his hand and hit the table, startling him awake, only to find the screen’s picture looked somewhat different from before.

Ren Wenshan wiped the drool from his mouth, rubbed his eyes forcefully, and carefully looked at the screen.

Just one look made him scream sharply, wanting to retreat but was blocked by the sofa, slumping onto it.

Lu Kai was awakened by Ren Wenshan’s scream, somewhat annoyed, and sat up, sleepily asking, ”Did they make a move?”

”She, she...”

Seeing Ren Wenshan looking hugely frightened, mouth agape, pointing at the screen without uttering a complete sentence frustrated Lu Kai immensely.

Watching the person in front reveal his big yellow teeth again, Lu Kai began to clear his throat just like last time, intending to give Ren Wenshan another go.

Terrified, Ren Wenshan quickly stood up and stopped him, ”Young Master Lu, please, you should look at this first!” Saying so, he turned the screen towards Lu Kai.

Seeing Ren Wenshan’s excessively alarmed demeanor, Lu Kai’s irritation was elevating uncontrollably, much like the desire upon encountering a beauty, angrily said, ”Slap yourself!”

Yet Ren Wenshan’s facial color changed several times, from red to purple, then finally stopped at pale, reluctantly opening his mouth...

Instantly, Lu Kai felt somewhat amused by the anger filling up, thinking since this useless fool delivered himself, he had only himself to blame!

Lu Kai cleared his throat for half a minute before accurately spitting more than twice the amount from last time directly into Ren Wenshan’s mouth.

As soon as Ren Wenshan received this copious spittle, he closed his mouth and swallowed it down his throat with an audible gulp.

This time, Ren Wenshan showed slightly greater resistance than before but left Lu Kai, who was watching, feeling his stomach churn and quickly gestured to send Ren Wenshan away.

Just as Ren Wenshan stood up and took a couple of steps, he ’clunked’ and fell, crawling out on all fours.

After Ren Wenshan left, Lu Kai shifted his gaze to the computer screen, and at first glance was scared to retreat backward rapidly, hitting and flipping the sofa beneath him.

Lu Kai was directly overturned beneath the sofa, unable to move!

”Ren Wenshan!” Lu Kai’s voice emerged from under the sofa, yelling, ”If you keep playing dead, I’ll truly make you dead!”

Outside the door, Ren Wenshan showed a fierce expression; even if you were immensely powerful, you couldn’t humiliate people so perversely, right?

I might as well fight you to mutual destruction; after all, I’m just a nobody, but you’re a wealthy young master.

The barefoot aren’t afraid of the shoed, let’s see who suffers more, who gives in first!

Having made up his mind, Ren Wenshan gritted his teeth, opened Lu Kai’s room door, and charged in aggressively, only to find the room in a mess, the sofa overturned, but no sight of Lu Kai.

Seeing this scene, Ren Wenshan’s recently aroused anger suddenly diminished, and he promptly turned to run, recalling what he’d seen on the screen earlier.

”Get me out first!”

Lu Kai’s muffled voice came from underneath the sofa, and Ren Wenshan hesitantly asked, ”Young Master Lu, is that you under there?”

”No shit!”

Lu Kai cursed, ”Hurry and get me out!”

”Okay, okay, don’t rush, I’ll get you out right away!”

Ren Wenshan hurriedly lifted one corner of the sofa, while Lu Kai scrambled out from beneath.

Seeing the disheveled Lu Kai crawling halfway out, Ren Wenshan’s mind entertained a crazy thought: if he suddenly let go of the lifted sofa...

But he quickly shook his head, dismissing this absurd thought from his mind.

Despite enduring such humiliation, he was still considered among the upper-middle class, living a life far better than most people!

After some self-consolation, Ren Wenshan’s idea never came to fruition, and Lu Kai smoothly crawled out from under the sofa!
