Chapter 419: Chapter 416: Le Yaoyao’s Little Disappointment

As he spoke, he once again approached Le Yaoyao.

Le Yaoyao stepped back in disgust until she finally backed into the wall and said in panic, ”Don’t, don’t come any closer!”

Lu Kai looked at Le Yaoyao, who was like a frightened little rabbit, and said with a sinister smile, ”If I don’t come over, how can I show Miss Le my sincerity?”

With that, he grabbed Le Yaoyao’s small hand, placed it on his left chest, and asked with a smile, ”Can you feel it? It’s saying, ’I’ve never seen such an enchanting girl!’”

Le Yaoyao struggled to break free and then quickly took out the pepper spray from her pocket and pressed down.

After two hissing noises, she was shocked to see Lu Kai’s bewildered face.

Lu Kai didn’t expect Le Yaoyao to have this move; caught off guard, he was directly hit by her spray, but after a while, he realized he felt no discomfort!

”Little sister, is your spray an aphrodisiac?”

Lu Kai laughed lewdly and said, ”It seems to be working, your drug has a quick effect!”

Le Yaoyao suddenly remembered that this spray had expired last month, back when she was so broke that she almost resorted to phone fraud with Xiao Tian. How could she afford to replace the spray?

Just as she was about to cry without tears, she suddenly felt her hands being lifted and pinned against the wall, and Lu Kai’s disgusting face came into view.

”Little sister, don’t worry, as long as you serve me well, you’ll earn a lot of money in the future!” Lu Kai said lewdly, leaning close to Le Yaoyao’s ear.

Thinking about being bullied by such a disgusting pervert, tears rolled down Le Yaoyao’s face.

Would she still be able to face her aunt and uncle with dignity?

Despair filled Le Yaoyao’s heart!

Thinking of Xiao Tian, Le Yaoyao felt a heartache; if she couldn’t face him with purity, she would have to say goodbye forever!

Uncle, goodbye! I hope you can visit me every year during Qingming, just come and see me!

As she was lost in thought, she suddenly felt her hand loosen as Lu Kai rushed towards the door.

Le Yaoyao couldn’t possibly think Lu Kai would let her go, and since he wouldn’t let her go, his purpose at the door was evident: to lock it!

Alone and trapped in danger, Le Yaoyao’s mind was especially alert as she quickly scanned the room for anything she could use for self-defense, but found there wasn’t even a broom.

It seemed Lu Kai was well prepared. Le Yaoyao forced herself to calm down but then heard a ’click’ sound—the door had been locked!

The female assistant outside heard the sound of the door being locked and her expression changed; she decisively ran to where Xiao Tian was resting.

She was a woman with sharp intuition, and at that moment, her instincts told her only Xiao Tian could save Le Yaoyao!

Inside the room, Le Yaoyao looked at Lu Kai in fear, retreating step by step, which made the latter feel even more delighted!

Upon receiving the female assistant’s plea for help, Xiao Tian and Lin Bingxuan rushed to rescue her. When they reached Le Yaoyao’s room, Xiao Tian didn’t stop and kicked the door open.

Seeing the steel-reinforced security door dent inward, the female assistant broke out in a cold sweat—is this still human?

No time to marvel, she saw Xiao Tian and Lin Bingxuan had already rushed in; she hurriedly followed, only to see...

Lu Kai was standing on the windowsill, apparently prepared to jump out, but Le Yaoyao was nowhere to be seen in the room.

”Where’s Yaoyao?” Xiao Tian blinked and appeared next to Lu Kai, pulled him down, and asked, choking him.

”Oh!”

A delicate cry came from outside the window, causing Xiao Tian to tremble—was that... Le Yaoyao’s voice?

Xiao Tian slapped Lu Kai unconscious and then leaned his head out the window.

”Uncle?” Le Yaoyao rubbed her head and, upon seeing Xiao Tian, happily dashed forward.

The two awkwardly hugged across the window, and only after a long time did Xiao Tian pull her inside directly.

Seeing Lu Kai unconscious on the ground, Le Yaoyao couldn’t help but cry again, rushing into Lin Bingxuan’s arms, and sobbed, ”I, I...”

Yet she couldn’t utter a single word for a long time.

But there was no need for her to say anything!

...

Late at night, as Xiao Tian came out of the restroom and passed by Le Yaoyao’s room, he saw through a crack in the door that she was sitting on the sofa hugging a pillow, with red-rimmed eyes, evidently having cried.

Xiao Tian knocked and walked in, only to see the little girl stand up, tears welling up: ”Uncle, I’m scared!”

”I’m here! Don’t be afraid!” Xiao Tian quickly stepped forward to comfort Le Yaoyao.

Previously, Lin Bingxuan had wanted to sleep with Le Yaoyao, but was refused!

The two didn’t pay much attention, after all, nothing really happened during the day and Le Yaoyao’s easy-going attitude made it easy to believe the incident hadn’t affected her!

But no one expected the little girl to hide in her room and cry alone.

Xiao Tian held Le Yaoyao in his arms, gently patting her back, listening to the little girl recount the day’s events...

”After he locked the door, he came back again. I kept backing up as he kept moving forward.”

The little girl held Xiao Tian tightly as she recounted, ”Then as I backed up, suddenly I felt emptiness behind me and ended up flipping out of the room!”

Xiao Tian couldn’t help but laugh; does this little girl have to be so cute when she talks?!

”Uncle, how can you still laugh?” Le Yaoyao said in a voice as if she had misjudged him, ”Do you know how critical the situation was? How scared I was?”

Xiao Tian was somewhat embarrassed and didn’t answer, but he held her tighter!

”Right, uncle, how did you teach Lu Kai a lesson afterward?”

Le Yaoyao suddenly raised her little head and asked expectantly.

”Not much of a lesson!” Xiao Tian replied nonchalantly, ”I just offered him a pot of tea and then let him go!”

”Oh...”

He expected the little girl in his arms to get furious upon hearing his reply, but instead, what he got was a faint ”Oh.”

Though it’s just one word, it was full of disappointment!

Le Yaoyao murmured, ”I should be eternally grateful that uncle saved me; how could I ask for more?”

Hearing the little girl’s considerate response, Xiao Tian quickly explained how he dealt with Lu Kai, but before that, he asked, ”Are you sure you want to hear it?”

Le Yaoyao nodded, ”If uncle is willing to tell, I’ll listen!” Her voice regained its lively spirit.

Then Xiao Tian began recounting the events that happened after Le Yaoyao, Lin Bingxuan, and the female assistant left the room...

As it turned out, after all the girls left, Xiao Tian restored Lu Kai.

Lu Kai saw Xiao Tian’s eyes filled with unlimited killing intent and revealed his identity.

”I’m warning you!” Lu Kai threatened, somewhat unsure but trying to sound firm, ”I’m the heir of the Lu Family in Lu Province. If you dare touch me, you’ll end up dead on the street!”

Xiao Tian sat on the sofa, coldly watching Lu Kai’s performance, picked up a teacup to his mouth, but felt something was amiss.

After discovering the secret, Xiao Tian looked at the cigar and teapot on the table, and with a look of horror from Lu Kai, despite his struggles, he forced it all down his throat...
