Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Balabamo’s visit to Earth, which lasted four to five days, finally concluded on November 29th.

During this period, Balabamo, representing the Orion Arm Interstellar Alliance, promised to provide Earth with sufficient technological support and help it quickly take over more than forty thousand star systems previously colonized by the Original Spiritual Race.

Additionally, the leaders of the Steward Planets accompanying this visit, such as the Black Stone Race, Purple Potato Titan Race, and Silver Wisdom Tree Race, promised to invest no less than one hundred billion Alliance Coins in Earth’s civilization within the next three to five Earth Years.

Prior to this, Lu Li and Balabamo had discussed that one Alliance Coin was approximately equal to ten thousand Huaxia Coins.

This means that each of the Steward Planet leaders promised to invest no less than one trillion Huaxia Coins in Earth, which gives an idea of the magnitude.

Of course, these investments may not all be implemented on Earth, as they might also target the colonized star systems.

After four to five busy days, Lu Li could finally relax.

The remaining tasks would be handled by dignitaries of various countries.

For instance, recruiting professional management personnel to go to the colonized star systems.

Or sending construction personnel for off-planet building projects.

Or sending technical personnel to the Interstellar Alliance to learn advanced technologies.

In the super base.

Lu Li had just spent some intimate time with Liu Kexin.

”Honey, I’m going to sleep now, good night.”

”Alright, good night.”

Lu Li watched Liu Kexin fall asleep while pondering other matters.

First of all, within these four to five days, he had increased his Power of the Stars by six.

It went from the Power of Thirty-Three Stars to the Power of Thirty-Nine Stars.

It wasn’t far from the Power of Fifty Stars now.

At this point, he still didn’t feel any impending sense of deep evolution.

It was as if the energy required for the next deep evolution would become extraordinarily vast.

Lu Li had become ”numb” to this, and aside from some confusion, he didn’t feel particularly anxious.

”I’ve been so busy meeting Balabamo recently that I haven’t properly ’stolen’ anything from the Fantasy World.”

Lu Li pondered silently, ”I wonder if my true self could possibly travel into the Fantasy World.”

To be honest, he really wanted to visit worlds from classical fantasy novels like Journey to the West and Investiture of the Gods to see how he compared to the ”great gods” in those stories.

There was nothing wrong with wanting ”a grand traversal of the Fantasy World.”

The issue, however, was first guaranteeing his absolute safety.

Lu Li didn’t dwell too much on such matters and began considering other issues.

Like which Fantasy World to ”steal” something from next.

”I’ve ’stolen’ the three kinds of peaches from Journey to the West, and the remaining Spirit Fruits are nothing more than fire dates and ginseng fruits.”

Lu Li carefully recalled the effects of the fire dates and ginseng fruits in Journey to the West.

The ginseng fruit, frankly speaking, was not as good as the nine-thousand-year-old peaches.

Journey to the West describes the ginseng fruit: ”It blooms once every three thousand years, bears fruit every three thousand years, and takes three thousand more years to mature. Only after ten thousand years can it be eaten. During these ten thousand years, only thirty fruits are borne. The fruits resemble three-day-old children, with fully formed limbs and facial features. If a person is fortunate enough to merely smell a fruit, they can live three hundred and sixty years; eating one grants forty-seven thousand years of life.”

Eating one only increased lifespan by forty-seven thousand years, far inferior to the nine-thousand-year peaches’ increase of one hundred twenty-nine thousand six hundred years.

As for the fire dates in Journey to the West, the original text didn’t clarify their effect.

However, they likely extended life and eliminated disease.

This can be inferred from the longevity star giving fire dates to the King of Biqu to cure his illness.

”Since I have the peaches, there’s no need for the fire dates or ginseng fruits.”

Lu Li stopped considering Spirit Fruits and instead turned his attention to pills, cultivation techniques, and magical artifacts.

What pills in Journey to the West are particularly remarkable?

Black Gold Pills, Nine Revolutions Rejuvenation Pill, Nine Revolutions Great Rejuvenation Pill, and so on.

Pigsy, for example, ate a Nine Revolutions Great Rejuvenation Pill and then achieved immortality through virtuous deeds.

It’s worth mentioning that though Wind Stabilizing Pill is called a pill, it functions as a magical artifact.

Lu Li pondered that the functions of these pills seemed somewhat redundant with those of the peaches. Could it be that his only choice was magical artifacts?

He was about to contemplate which magical artifacts were potent.

Suddenly, Lu Li thought of something, ”Hey, the immortals in Journey to the West all possess Immortal Techniques. Though the people under me could become immortals after eating peaches, it seems they wouldn’t know any Immortal Techniques.”

He was considering whether he could ”steal” Immortal Techniques from the Fantasy World and have his people learn them.

This notion was somewhat bold and somewhat impractical.

Why say this?

Because in almost all novels, the specific contents of cultivation techniques were never disclosed.

Since neither the specifics had appeared nor was it certain he could ”steal” them, even if he did, teaching them could be another matter.

”Regardless, I’ve got to try.”

Lu Li was too lazy to seek out other Fantasy Worlds, once again focusing on Journey to the West.

He planned to ”steal” three to four cultivation techniques from this Fantasy World.

The first one being the ”Somersault Cloud.”

This ability allows one to somersault ten thousand eight hundred miles.

If his subordinates could learn it, it would be quite useful in the future.

The second one is the ”Great Celestial Immortal Technique,” which is the core cultivation technique Sun Wukong practiced.
