Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Under Lu Li’s instruction, Nuwa spread the word that the Supreme Leader of the Orion Arm Interstellar Alliance was coming to visit Earth.

Nuwa provided a detailed introduction to the global population about what the Orion Arm Interstellar Alliance is and the purpose of their visit to Earth.

In an instant, the entire world was in an uproar.

Open any website, and you could see people discussing this matter.

For instance, on Douyin, the conversation about this topic was already heating up.

A certain official news outlet released this announcement: Daily news, November 9th, according to the ”Eternal Star Lord’s” office, the super AI assistant Nuwa announced: at the invitation of the ”Eternal Star Lord,” the Supreme Leader of the Orion Arm Interstellar Alliance, Balabamo, will visit Earth with his entourage from November 24th to 28th.

”Holy crap!”

”The Orion Arm Interstellar Alliance is so awesome?”

”Wow, over a thousand stellar civilizations, with the most advanced Night Cloud Race even borderline galactic civilization, truly impressive!”

”Supreme Leader Balabamo, reportedly the king of the Night Cloud Race close to galactic civilization. Rumor has it they’re the most badass civilization within the Orion Arm, ruling over hundreds of thousands of star systems. I can’t believe such an impressive figure is coming to our Earth.”

”Nuwa also announced that during Balabamo’s visit to Earth, there might be an invitation for our Earth civilization to join the Orion Arm Interstellar Alliance and become one of the Steward Planets.”

”What’s a Steward Planet?”

”Didn’t you read Nuwa’s introduction? A Steward Planet in the Interstellar Alliance holds voting rights. For example, we always thought the Milky Way had about one or two hundred billion stars, but in reality, according to information from the Interstellar Alliance, the Milky Way has 400 billion stars, with the Orion Arm owning hundreds of billions. The Interstellar Alliance is the highest decision-making body ruling over all star systems in this arm. Composed of over a thousand second-level civilizations, not all have voting rights, only 108 Steward Planets have that privilege. Do you get it now?”

”Oh wow, do you mean our Earth also has a chance to become one of the Steward Planets affecting the destiny of billions of star systems? Oh my gosh, Earth civilization is truly advancing this time!”

”Haha, exactly, and it’s all thanks to the ’Eternal Star Lord’, otherwise, with our Earth’s civilization not even reaching first-level, how could we even dream of becoming a Steward Planet? We’d be grateful just not to be conquered, let alone exterminated like that alien race called the Spiritual Race did to us before.”

”That’s right, all thanks to our ’Eternal Star Lord’ holding the position.”

A group of people was overjoyed, finally realizing what a significant benefit Lu Li, as humanity’s ’Supreme Leader’, could bring to humankind.

At this moment, in addition to being grateful for Lu Li repeatedly saving Earth, everyone felt a sense of pride.

Everyone knew, whether Earth could become one of the Orion Arm Interstellar Alliance’s Steward Planets next, still depended on what choices Lu Li would make.

Suddenly, someone posed a question, ”According to Nuwa, each Steward Planet governs at least tens of thousands of star systems, while our Earth civilization hasn’t even fully controlled the solar system. So, how many star systems do you think Balabamo will allocate for our Earth civilization to govern when he invites us to join the Interstellar Alliance?”

This question immediately sparked a lot of discussion.

A netizen with the username ”RabbitSoCuteILikeToEat” said: ”Like the poster said, our Earth civilization hasn’t even fully controlled the solar system. Asking for a large allocation of star systems is unrealistic. As the saying goes, one must be strong to forge iron. I think getting ten or eight star systems for us to develop would already be great.”

Another netizen named ”ThreeSunsFromDandong” retorted: ”Ten or eight star systems are nothing. With the ’Eternal Star Lord’ as our golden signboard, I think we should at least secure a hundred or eighty star systems. Hmm, a hundred or eighty would actually be plenty, given that more might be beyond our Earth civilization’s control.”

Another netizen named ”IOnlyWatchLiveIfShe’sBeautiful” said: ”The ’Eternal Star Lord’s’ deterrent power is beyond question, but now we’re discussing resource allocation. Why would the Interstellar Alliance allocate resources to us for nothing? If we could get dozens of star systems, that would already be a celebratory occasion. A hundred or eighty? You’re dreaming!”

”Exactly, star systems aren’t blown in by the wind, there’s no way you can ask for however many you want.”

”Actually, our Earth civilization is still relatively weak. Even if we got more star systems, we wouldn’t be able to manage them for now. Instead, it’s better to initially get a few dozen and use their vast resources to boost our civilization’s level.”

”Sigh, ultimately we’re still too weak. What’s the use of receiving more star systems if we can’t manage them?”

”That’s not the point, taking them is one matter and whether they can be managed is another. As long as the ’Eternal Star Lord’ dares to attempt to secure them, even if those star systems remain undeveloped for now, once our civilization level catches up, we can govern them, can’t we? Without that, even if we develop later, we’d still be limited by resources. So, during Balabamo’s visit to Earth, it’s crucial to see how many star systems the ’Eternal Star Lord’ can negotiate for us.”
