Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 566: Chapter 303: Wedding Date

Cameron Spencer nodded, ”Smart choice. If things come up in the future, I won’t leave you out in the cold.”

Saying that, he left the hotel and was directly driven to Brooke Osborne’s mansion.

Because at that moment, he was eager to see his youngest son.

His eldest son had upset him so much, he felt the need to properly educate his youngest.

...

In Lawrence Winters’ suite at the hotel, the two of them had fully reconciled after their argument.

Lawrence Winters, in a bathrobe, went to the bathroom to take a shower. When he came back, he saw Kenneth Osborne with his chest bare, leaning against the headboard, looking at her gently.

She shyly lifted the blanket and crawled into bed, softly saying, ”Why don’t you go take a shower?”

Kenneth Osborne wrapped her in his arms, smiling, ”...It’s not over yet, what’s the rush?”

...

That night, Lawrence Winters experienced what it means to be ”reunited as good as a new marriage”.

At the peak of their intimacy, Kenneth Osborne kept whispering in her ear.

”Nora, marry me.”

”Nora, marry me.”

”Nora, marry me.”

Lawrence Winters’ head was spinning; she agreed to everything Kenneth Osborne said.

The next morning, when she woke up, Kenneth Osborne had already ordered room service, bringing breakfast to her bedside.

”Mrs. Osborne, get up and have breakfast,” Kenneth Osborne said with a smile, even propping the pillow up for her to lean on.

Lawrence Winters: ”...”

She rubbed her temples, feeling like she was in a hungover state, weakly saying, ”So early? I wanted to sleep a bit more...”

”If you sleep in, you’ll miss the flight.” Kenneth Osborne ruffled her hair, ”I still need to stop by my sister’s place to pick up our luggage.”

”Hmph, who cares about that lousy flight? In the future, I want to buy two planes, one for commuting and the other for international travel.” Lawrence Winters grumbled as she got out of bed, but she did brush her teeth before eating breakfast.

After they tidied up, they went next door to call Nick Zeller.

Kenneth Osborne said, ”Uncle Nick, Nora and I are heading to my sister’s to get our luggage. You head to the airport and wait for us.”

”Alright, no problem.” Nick Zeller glanced at Lawrence Winters, ”Lawrence, why don’t you come with me to the airport first? Going to Kenneth’s sister’s might not be very convenient for you.”

”It’s fine.” Kenneth Osborne quickly interjected, ”Nora has agreed to marry me. She should meet my parents and sister. We definitely need to invite them to the wedding.”

Nick Zeller was shocked, ”What?! You’re planning to get married already?! Weren’t you going to live together first?!”

Lawrence Winters’ mind was still a bit muddled, but she remembered she did agree to Kenneth Osborne last night.

She blushed slightly, gave Kenneth Osborne a sidelong glance, and sheepishly admitted, ”Well... we did talk about it last night, maybe we could set a wedding date.”

”Let’s go back and consult with your great-grandfather to pick a recent auspicious day for marriage, and we’ll get the marriage certificate first, okay?” Kenneth Osborne proposed to Lawrence Winters right in front of Nick Zeller, wanting to confirm everything officially.

Lawrence Winters quickly glanced at Nick Zeller.

Nick Zeller felt bitter inside but had to put on a smile and say, ”No rush. Go back and discuss with Nora’s mom first. After all, I’m just her uncle; I don’t really have a say. Her mom’s consent is what matters.”

Kenneth Osborne quickly nodded, ”We’ll definitely discuss it with Auntie Winters when we get back, and I’ve already prepared the betrothal gifts.”

Lawrence Winters’ eyes lit up suddenly, she squinted slightly, ”There are betrothal gifts? Kenneth, you never mentioned that to me.”

”The betrothal gifts are for your mom and uncle, not you,” Kenneth Osborne teased her on purpose.

Lawrence Winters pointed to herself, ”Of course it matters to me. If I’m not satisfied with the betrothal gifts, I can unilaterally terminate the agreement!”

A marriage agreement is still an agreement.

Kenneth Osborne laughed, ”Alright, let me show you the list first.”

Talking and laughing, they headed together to Brooke Osborne’s mansion.

It was Lawrence Winters’ first visit there.

When she saw the vast lawn extending to the sea and the European-style mansion, she couldn’t help but take a sharp breath.

”Kenneth, your sister is finally having a change of luck!” Lawrence Winters exclaimed in amazement, looking around, her eyes not knowing where to focus.

A faint mist hovered over the lawn, everything in the distance was hazy, the green grass seemed covered by a thin veil, fresh and natural.

Kenneth Osborne had been there the day before, so he wasn’t as awestruck.

He led her into Brooke Osborne’s mansion, and to Brooke Osborne, Mr. Osborne, and Mrs. Osborne waiting there, he announced, ”Sister, Dad, Mom, Nora and I are getting married.”

Brooke Osborne knew they were engaged, and now it seemed they were setting the wedding date, immediately saying, ”That’s wonderful! Let me know as soon as you’ve picked a date, I have to be there.”

She smiled and added, ”If by then Winter can walk, I’ll have him be your flower boy.”

”A flower boy? Great! We’d love that!” Lawrence Winters said happily, shaking Brooke Osborne’s hand.

Mrs. Osborne had mixed feelings about it.

She hoped Kenneth Osborne would marry soon so she could have grandchildren.

But now that the day had come, she felt a bit melancholic.

Kenneth Osborne was slightly puzzled that his mother didn’t have a more intense reaction.

However, Mrs. Osborne quickly regained her composure, smiling at Lawrence Winters, ”Lawrence, we’ve been neighbors for a long time, we know each other well. We’re delighted you’re marrying our Kenneth.”

”Once you’ve set the date, let us know, and we’ll definitely be there to celebrate!”

She spoke as if they were merely guests.

Aren’t you supposed to be hosting the wedding?

Or do you want Kenneth to marry into the Winters Family like Blake Leaf?

Lawrence Winters furrowed her brows ever so slightly in confusion.

Kenneth Osborne understood both her thoughts and Mr. Osborne’s thoughts.

He smiled and said, ”I’ve prepared the betrothal gifts, and I have a budget set for the wedding, so you don’t need to worry, Mom and Dad.”
