Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 407: Chapter 219: For Love, a Fortune Is Light Beside Lawrence

”Really?” Arthur Johnson asked somewhat nervously, ”Zoe, I trust you, I only trust what you say. You said it wouldn’t happen, and I really took it to heart.”

Zoe Johnson looked at Arthur Johnson in this state, and suddenly felt quite sympathetic towards him.

She couldn’t help but soften her tone and said gently, ”Don’t worry about this. To be honest, I can assure you that even young director Fu won’t interfere with you. Go for that public service announcement, and speaking of ability, you’re the most suitable person, without a doubt!”

”Zoe...” Arthur Johnson was suddenly moved to tears and for a moment even thought of just signing that new contract.

After all, he’d been with NewHuman Corporation for ten years, growing from a young trainee to a top TV drama star, earning a lot of money, all thanks to the company.

But then he glanced at the profit split and thought about Lucas Harlow’s rapid rise, and he calmed down.

”Alright, don’t overthink it. Even if you don’t renew your contract in the future, we are still good friends for many years. If something happens, you also need to look out for our NewHuman Corporation!” Zoe laughed heartily and personally saw Arthur Johnson out of the office.

As Arthur Johnson left Zoe’s office, he happened to pass by Lawrence Winters in the hallway.

Lawrence sneered at Arthur Johnson, a slight frown on his face.

Because Arthur Johnson didn’t even glance at her, as if she was invisible.

Initially, Lawrence wanted to say a few words to Arthur Johnson, but seeing his demeanor, she had to step aside and pretend not to know him.

...

Once home, Arthur Johnson immediately took action.

Since the company agreed not to interfere, he had to handle the public service announcement himself.

However, such a thing cannot be accomplished by himself alone.

He needed some help.

At this moment, the only ones he could think of and trust were his fan groups.

He had the largest fan base in the entire entertainment industry, consisting of supportive girls, middle-aged women, and quite a few male fans, who were his strong backing.

Now, the Johnson Iron Knights were going to ride again!

Thinking this, Arthur Johnson first made a call to his assistant.

”Yo, how are the fan groups lately? What about the trending topic? What’s the ranking?”

Yo quickly replied, ”Don’t worry, Arthur. The fan groups are doing great, everyone is behaving well, and of course, the trending topic is number one in the entertainment industry! No doubt about it!”

Arthur Johnson nodded, ”Good, now there’s something I need you to help me with.”

”Whatever you say, Arthur!” Yo patted his chest, ”It’s been a while since we’ve had any tasks, I’m almost getting rusty!”

Arthur Johnson laughed, ”Here’s the thing, I want you to have someone write about my past charity work, and have the big fans in a few of the biggest fan groups help spread it around. Remember, don’t post it through marketing accounts, so it won’t be obvious.”

”Got it!” Yo said loudly, ”You don’t have to worry about these things, leave it to me!”

He had signed a confidentiality agreement, and Arthur Johnson trusted him completely.

Yo was also very loyal to Arthur Johnson, partly because of mutual interests and partly because he’s a devoted person, having followed Arthur for seven or eight years without thinking of leaving.

After hanging up, Yo organized all the charitable work Arthur Johnson had done over the years, wrote a basic outline, and sent it to several familiar major fans for them to refine.

Among these big fans, the most impressive one was called ”In-Lawrence-We-Trust~”, who had just recently stood out in their fan group in the past half year.

Not only could she liven up the atmosphere, she could also write, draw, and sing, and would often reveal her photos; she was a particularly pretty girl.

Receiving Yo’s charity draft, the big fans immediately started discussing it in their small group chat.

[Star One]: I really didn’t expect that brother did so much charity work over the years, and no one knew!

[Star Two]: Yes, yes! To be a fan of such a brother is truly a blessing for three lifetimes!

[Star Three]: Alright, stop with the compliments, time for my aerial double-kick fireworks of compliments!!! La la la la~~~

The group was instantly filled with laughter, various laughing emojis flying around, making it very lively.

This small group was the admin group for Arthur Johnson’s fan club, full of skilled individuals in their own right.

Just as they were chatting away, Miss KAI already finished her short essay.

[In-Lawrence-We-Trust~]: Ladies, take a look at this essay I wrote. Cute.JPG.

[Star Four]: Gold-Digger Girl, you are so fast?! Truly our Star Typing Machine One!

[Star One]: Props to Gold-Digger Girl! The writing’s so good! Can I copy and paste it?
