Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Looks like those of you still staying are not satisfied with your current partner and wants someone different... Fine! All of you can talk with each other and figure out who you want to team up with, just remember that everyone should have a partner by the end!”

Shortly after Bai Ning and Hui Ying entered the Azure Sky Kingdom together to hunt for demonic cultivators, the beast taming elder who had started gathering together the demon beasts of the disciples who had already left suddenly turned towards the remaining disciples still standing around before saying this.

”Thank you elder!”

”Yay, thank you elder! Now I can be teamed up with my brother.”

”Let’s make a group of four, this way we will be able to hunt down stronger demonic cultivators and get more contribution points!”

The remaining disciples who had been worried about being teamed up with someone they didn’t know all thanked the beast taming elder before splitting up from their original partner to form new and mostly larger groups consisting of four people or more!

”Hmph... You kids... Now get going or there won’t be any demonic cultivators left for any of you to fight!” Smiling slightly after he saw how happy the disciples were after forming new groups, the beast taming elder quickly chased them away after making sure that everyone had a partner.

”””Yes!”””

Filled with confidence and feeling happy that they could team up with their friends, the disciples did not stay around the border of the Azure Sky Kingdom for long, as they soon rushed into the Azure Sky Kingdom. Feeling both nervous and excited about fighting the demonic cultivators.

...

Not aware of what had taken place just after they had left, Bai Ning and Hui Ying made their way towards a small town located not too far away from the border where they had gotten off their demon beasts.

”This is horrible...!”

Reaching the small town, Hui Ying could not help exclaiming loudly as her face soon filled with fear. Soon turning to look away from what remained of the small town.

”...”

Bai Ning felt a similar urge to look away as he looked inside the town, but different from Hui Ying, Bai Ning quickly managed to calm himself down again to properly inspect the situation of the town in front of them.

The inside of the small town was filled with dead bodies belonging to both men and women, young and old.

Blood could be seen all over the place as a shabby looking formation had been drawn using the blood at the centre of the town, a weak blood red qi could still be seen flowing inside the blood red symbols that made up the demonic formation. Indicating that the formation had not been finished.

”If I’m not wrong, the demonic cultivator from earlier likely passed through this town and was planning to use some kind of sacrificial formation to break through... The cultivator we saw him devouring was most likely someone who passed by and tried to stop him...”

Saying this, Bai Ning turned towards the still scared Hui Ying in an attempt to calm her down. The scene of an entire town filled with corpses was simply far too much for her to take.

Compared to her I...

Shaking his head as he thought about something from his time before entering the Flying Sword Sect and becoming Xuan Hao’s disciple, Bai Ning felt a tinge of pity when looking towards Hui Ying.

”Let’s leave this place to the seniors.”

”Yes...”

Having seen a few seniors from the sect similarly having arrived at the small town, Bai Ning and Hui Ying didn’t bother exploring the dead town. Leaving the demonic formation still in place for the seniors who were more experienced to deal with.

Even if they might lose out on a few contribution points due to this, Bai Ning and Hui Ying didn’t really care about this.

One of them needed to fight demonic cultivators due to his master’s orders, while the other didn’t want to go anywhere near the dead town!

With this in mind, there was not reason for them to enter the dead town and deal with the incomplete demonic formation when there already was a group of seniors present to deal with the issue for them.

”Hui Ying... Do you have anywhere you want to go first?”

After moving away from the dead town and seeing the Hui Ying had started calming down, Bai Ning took the opportunity to ask her this.

First and foremost, to help her take her mind off the bloody scene she had just seen, while at the same time wanting to know if she had anywhere specific, she wanted to go inside the Azure Sky Kingdom.

”Anywhere I want to go inside the Azure Sky Kingdom!? N-no! I-I don’t have any place I want to go!”

”...”

Trying his best to ignore the flustered expression that appeared on Hui Ying’s face as she did her best to answer his question in a calm voice, Bai Ning could not help rolling his eyes.

It’s so easy to see that she is thinking about that spiritual herb she came to the Azure Sky Kingdom for...

Even without her saying anything, it was obvious to Bai Ning that she was thinking something completely different from what she was saying.

”Then let’s go this way.”

”Okay.”

Deciding to choose a direction to travel in given that Hui Ying would not be doing so, both of them soon resumed their journey deeper into the Azure Sky Kingdom.

...

Back at the Star Shattering Sect, Xuan Hao who had remained motionless inside his room focused on repairing his dantian slowly opened his eyes.

”Hm... It’s already been over a week since Bai Ning left for the Azure Sky Kingdom, I wonder how he is doing...” Muttering this to himself as he gazed out a nearby window in the direction of the Azure Sky Kingdom, Xuan Hao could not help feeling curious about just how Bai Ning was doing after leaving the sect for the first time since he had taken him in as his third disciple.

Even if he knew that nothing life threatening had happened as the power, he had left on him to protect him was still intact at this point in time, Xuan Hao was still a bit worried when thinking about Bai Ning.

After all, he had close to no experience when it came to fighting. The only real combat experience he had outside of training together with him and Chu Yang, was from before he had even started cultivating!

With that in mind, it was obvious that Xuan Hao felt worried about Bai Ning who was now in the Azure Sky Kingdom hunting down demonic cultivators...

Well... If anything happens, I will know about it immediately!

Shaking his head as he focused his attention back on his dantian, Xuan Hao could not help frowning to himself after seeing that he was still not anywhere near fully recovered yet.

Whoosh~!

Testing out the power of his domain as he kept his attention fully focused on his dantian to see what it could handle; Xuan Hao could not help letting out a sigh of relief after seeing that he should be more than capable of using his power for a few minutes without worry.

Given his current cultivation realm, this would be more than enough to kill off someone in the later stages of the Domain Lord Realm!

This should be more than good enough for me to explore the ancient seal located below the Raging Flame Sect!

Knowing that he did not have much time left before he would have to leave for the capital of the Sky Empire at this point in time, Xuan Hao decided to go and check out the ancient seal located below the Raging Flame Sect.

Even if it was dangerous, he was more than confident in escaping in case something happened. Not to mention, he already understood that the biggest danger this time around would be the black miasma.

All he had to do, was make sure to properly monitor the black miasma and escape in case it began acting weirdly in any way.

However, this would only be the case if nothing had happened to the ancient seal that kept the black miasma at bay.

Well... If something really happened to the seal, then the black miasma might have already escaped from the underground and reached the surface where the ruins of the Raging Flame Sect was located!

If that was really the case, the thing hidden inside the black miasma might even have escaped...!

”No... If that creature really escaped, there is no way it wouldn’t be noticed!”

Feeling that his train of thought was moving towards a rather negative direction, Xuan Hao shook his head as he calmed himself down.

Swish-!

Not wasting any time after calming himself down, Xuan Hao soon left the Star Shattering Sect. Moving towards the ruins of the Raging Flame Sect...
