Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Having finished listening to the reason why the demonic cultivators were trying their best to escape from the Frozen Wastelands, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing his eyes as a frown slowly appeared on his face.

”So… The reason why all of you are trying to escape from the Frozen Wasteland is because some powerful demonic cultivator is awakening from some sort of deep slumber?”

”Yes! Rumours are that the one awakening is some sort of ancient demonic cultivator that was forced into a deep slumber to recover from a battle that took place a long time ago.

Of course, we have no idea how authentic the rumours we heard so far are but given that even True Demon Realm Experts are trying to escape, it’s easy to imagine just how terrifying this demonic cultivator is!”

Hearing the response from one of the demonic cultivators, Xuan Hao could still not help feeling like something was wrong.

Even if a powerful demonic cultivator appeared and a few of the True Demon Realm Experts decided to leave, it had nothing to do with these weaker demonic cultivators.

After all, the reason why some of the True Demon Realm Experts left could be due to them having past grievances with the powerful demonic cultivator awakening or perhaps because they felt like there was a chance that the powerful demonic cultivator would find and use them to display his strength to the rest of the Frozen Wastelands.

All things considered, a new powerful demonic cultivator appearing in the Frozen Wastelands should have nothing to do with these weaker demonic cultivators that never entered the core parts of the Frozen Wastelands where these powerful demonic cultivators stayed!

”Then, why did you decide to escape? Isn’t it better for you to stay in the Frozen Wastelands and join under such a powerful demonic cultivator?”

Not able to understand why these weaker demonic cultivators had similarly chosen to run away, Xuan Hao decided to ask the group of demonic cultivators.

”Actually… the reason is rather simple, the demonic cultivator that is awakening is also know as the great demon of lust, it’s said that back when he was still around neither men nor women could escape his claws no matter how strong or weak, they were!

Because of this, many of the demonic sects and clans from the core parts of the Frozen Wastelands escaped to the outer edges where we stay and inevitably took over the place, we weaker demonic cultivators used to live in! Not wanting to fall prey to the great demon of lust…”

”Yes, yes! Before this, the outer parts of the Frozen Wastelands rarely interacted with the core parts of the Frozen Wastelands! However, the news of the great demon of lust awakening changed all of this, as entire sects from the core part of the Frozen Wastelands uprooted themselves to settle down inside the outer edges of the Frozen Wastelands in hopes of avoiding the great demon of lust!”

”…”

Listening to the reason why so many weaker demonic cultivators were escaping from the Frozen Wastelands were trying to escape and seeing the group of demonic cultivators in front of him starting to get agitated when talking about how their territories had been taken away from them, Xuan Hao had no idea what to say.

Of all the things he had thought about being the reason why so many demonic cultivators were leaving the Frozen Wastelands, this was not the answer he had expected…

The most worrying thing about this news was the fact that some True Demon Realm Experts had decided to escape from the core of the Frozen Wastelands due to the awakening of the great demon of lust.

This news alone was more than enough for Xuan Hao to understand that the great demon of lust should be a demonic cultivator that was stronger than ordinary True Demon Realm Expert. Maybe even a demonic cultivator that surpassed the True Demon Realm!

At this point in time, let alone someone who had surpassed the True Demon Realm, Xuan Hao had never met someone in the True Demon Realm yet!

Even if the Chaotic Qi Formation protecting the Shattered Star Peaks was strong, Xuan Hao had no idea if it was strong enough to resist someone who had surpassed the True Demon Realm…

For this reason, Xuan Hao could not help feeling nervous knowing that a powerful demonic cultivator was going to appear inside the Frozen Wastelands.

The only thing that prevented him from panicking after learning this news, was that the Frozen Wasteland was far too large and the chance of the great demon of lust entering the Sky Empire was rather low… And that was only considering that the great demon of lust actually left the Frozen Wastelands!

At this point in time, Xuan Hao had yet to hear anything about experts who had surpassed the Soul Ascension Realm, but he was almost certain that someone like that existed in the core region of the Ewaria Continent.

With this in mind, there was a chance that these powerful experts might act in case a powerful demonic cultivator appeared and started causing chaos!

Of course… There was no way he could be certain about any of this at the moment, as he still knew close to nothing about the core region and what took place over there.

For all he knew, they might not care about the demonic cultivators in the Frozen Wasteland and would just ignore them if they started attacking the dozen or so empires that bordered the Frozen Wastelands…

”Your excellency… Now that we answered your questions, can we-”

Swish-!

Knowing what the demonic cultivators wanted to ask him about, Xuan Hao didn’t bother answering them as he directly sent out a stream of sword qi that quickly split up before entering the dantian of the demonic cultivators nervously waiting.

”Agh-!”

”Ahhh!”

”Nooo-!”

Letting out screams of pain and unwillingness, the demonic cultivators had no way to resist as the sword qi that entered their dantian. Only able to scream in pain as their dantian was violently destroyed by the sword qi.

”Y-you promised not to kill us if we answered your questions- Ah-!”

”Indeed, I did… And I’m not going to kill you as promised.”

”Then what-”

”I only said I wouldn’t kill you… I never said anything about not crippling your cultivation base!”

Seeing the expression of disbelief on the demonic cultivators faces as they realized what was currently happening, they could not help screaming out in pain with even more unwillingness compared to before.

After all, to demonic cultivators like them, crippling their cultivation was worse than death!

Not to mention, they were currently in the Frozen Wastelands. Although they might be able to survive in the short term due to their bodies still being far stronger than a normal mortal, it would not be able to stop other demonic cultivators from attacking them.

Given that their bodies were of far higher quality and still retained some of the essence belonging to a demonic cultivator who had reached the First Demonic Transformation Realm, they would become the prime target for demonic cultivators wanting to breakthrough to the First Demonic Transformation Realm!

Devouring them would essentially allow a normal demonic cultivator at the Peak of the Higher Demon Realm to easily break through to the First Demonic Transformation Realm!

For Xuan Hao to not outright kill them but instead cripple their cultivation and leave them be, would essentially doom them to a fate worse than death!

As demonic cultivators themselves, they understood this very well-

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

And for this reason, close to half of the demonic cultivators decided to use the remaining power in their dantian before they were completely crippled to blow themselves up. Preventing themselves from a fate of ending up getting devoured by another demonic cultivator.

”””…”””

The demonic cultivators who had decided not to blow themselves up were all looking at each other with dark expressions on their faces. Not daring to say anything as they soon turned to look towards Xuan Hao with fear.

Not only was the Domain Lord from the Sky Empire ruthless, but he had even come up with such an evil way to make sure he kept his promise with them while at the same time making sure that they would die.

Even if they were all demonic cultivator and had done countless evil things to reach the Frist Demonic Transformation Realm, they could still not help feeling that the person in front of them was far more ruthless compared to them.

An exalted Domain Lord from the Sky Empire… What is the difference between someone like this and a demonic cultivator!?

”Well then, I will have to get going… Good luck~”

As all the demonic cultivators were thinking this while looking towards Xuan Hao with increasingly fearful expressions, the person in question carelessly waved goodbye before jumping into the air.

Soon disappearing from sight.

…

Rumble~!

Moments after Xuan Hao left the reaming demonic cultivators could not help looking at each other with confused expressions as the ground beneath them began rumbling.

”This is-!?”

”Looks like it would have been a better choice to blow up earlier…”

”Maybe it’s not too late, we just need to enter the Frozen Hell!

However, not a second later, this confusion turned into despair, as the demonic cultivators spotted a large group of demonic cultivators moving towards their current location…
