Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Who-!?”

”An elder of the Star Shattering Sect?!”

Hearing the surprised exclamation from the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall, Xuan Hao smiled slightly to himself as he felt a wave of happiness upon hearing one of the two addressing him as an elder instead of a disciple.

Given his young appearance compared to most elders, he had been mistaken for a disciple not only when outside, but also by the newer disciples of the Star Shattering Sect that had no idea who he was.

Then again… The reason why he was addressed as an elder, might have something to do with the fact that he managed to approach the two of them without any of them noticing before he had already appeared in front of them…

”Greetings elder, we are both elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall who have come here as representatives of our sect.”

Quickly recovering from the shock of seeing Xuan Hao, the oldest one among the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall bowed his head as a show of respect. The remaining elder of the Ascendant Frost Hall also did the same after recovering from the shock of Xuan Hao suddenly appearing in front of them.

”We have come here to ask the Star Shattering Sect for help in dealing with the recent surge of demonic cultivators appearing from the Frozen Wasteland. In return, the Ascendant Frost Hall will be more than willing to join the Star Shattering Sect!”

Not wasting any time, the elder from the Ascendant Frost Hall directly told Xuan Hao the reason why they had come to the Star Shattering Sect.

”This…”

Having wanted to convince the elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall by himself, Xuan Hao froze for a short moment. Not really knowing what to say upon seeing both of the elders looking at him nervously.

Not expecting that the elder from the Ascendant Frost Hall would just outright tell him that he wanted to join the banner of the Star Shattering Sect in return for protection against the demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wasteland.

”I understand, the Star Shattering Sect is indeed looking towards expanding in the direction of the Azure Sky Kingdom first… So, the Ascendant Frost Hall joining us would be a great thing.”

Thinking about what to say for a moment before saying this, Xuan Hao looked towards the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall. Curious about what they would say after knowing that the Star Shattering Sect was already planning to expand into the Azure Sky Kingdom where their sect was located.

”This is great! If the Star Shattering Sect expands into the Azure Sky Kingdom and takes control over their territory along with our sect’s territory, we will no longer have to worry so much about dealing with the constant invasion of demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wastelands!”

”Haha, indeed! With a powerful sect like the Star Shattering Sect around, those demonic cultivators won’t be able to cause any trouble!”

Contrary to the reaction he had expected from the elders of the Ascendant Frost Hall, the two elders happily exclaimed before excitement spread all over their faces. Looking like they had just escaped from the pits of hell and ascended into the heavens.

”…”

Just how bad is the current situation of the Ascendant Frost Hall…?

Not able to stop this thought from appearing after seeing how these to elders of the Ascendant Frost Hall acted in front of him, Xuan Hao felt curious about just what had happened to the Ascendant Frost Hall after the recent surge in demonic cultivators.

”Ah… Elder, we are sorry for our behaviour just now… We were just happy hearing that the Star Shattering Sect was willing to accept us. After all, the Ascendant Frost Hall is not a big sect and at most has a few experts at the Nascent Soul Realm…”

Realizing how disrespectful both of them had been in a moment of happiness, one of the two elders quickly calmed down before stepping forward to apologies to Xuan Hao with an awkward expression on his face.

”No need to worry about that, your happiness is understandable. For now, why don’t we enter the sect and discuss the matter in more detail?”

Shaking his head not really caring about the behaviour of the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall, Xuan Hao decided to invite them inside the Star Shattering Sect to further discuss the matter about their sect joining the Star Shattering Sect.

Not only would he be able to awe them with just how splendid the Star Shattering Sect was developing over the past few years, but he would also be able to find Elder Song for help with discussing the proper terms with them.

The entire management thing and stuff like that was not really his thing…

”Haha! Elder, we are more than willing!”

”Yes!”

Nodding their heads happily as they agreed to what Xuan Hao said, the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall soon made their way through the simple gate leading up the Ninth Star Peak together with Xuan Hao.

…

”This is-!?”

”The qi between heaven and earth is so rich here… No wonder the Star Shattering Sect managed to produce more than one Domain Lord…”

Stepping through the small gate that symbolized the start of the Star Shattering Sect, both elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall could not help exclaiming loudly as they felt the change in the qi all around them the moment they stepped through the small gate and onto the path leading up the Ninth Star Peak.

”Elder Cui… This place is truly a heaven for cultivators, do you think we will have a chance to come here and cultivate after joining under the Star Shattering Sect?”

”Maybe… In normal circumstances of willingly joining a more powerful sect, there will be a chance for us to enter the main sect if we are strong enough. However, I have no idea about how the Star Shattering Sect operates...”

”Haa… Looks like we will only find out after joining them… I really want to come here to cultivate in the future…”

Walking up the path leading to the top of the Ninth Star Peak where the forest filled with spiritual herbs had been transformed into a massive spiritual herb garden, the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall secretly chatted with each other through their divine sense while following behind Xuan Hao.

Not forgetting to look everywhere around them to take in the beautiful yet simple view of the Nine Star Peaks that slowly became visible the farther up they got.

”…”

Of course, none of the two were aware that their secret conversation was heard by Xuan Hao whose domain easily captured the conversation transmitted through their divine sense…

”This-!? Wh-what is this place?!”

Finally reaching the top of the Ninth Star Peak after a few minutes making their way up the mountain, one of the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall could not stop himself from saying this after seeing the massive spiritual herb garden that appeared in front of him stretching on for miles on end.

Although the entire Ninth Star Peak had not yet been completely covered due to just how large of a task it was to transform the entire Ninth Star Peak into a spiritual herb garden, a large chunk of it had already been transformed and this was more than enough to awe the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall

”This is the spiritual herb garden of the Star Shattering Sect. The different spiritual herbs used for alchemy or other things are grown here, as the Ninth Star Peak has the best environment for growing spiritual herbs among the different star peaks.”

””…””

Not knowing what to say when they heard what Xuan Hao said, the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall looked at each other with a similar quiet yet understanding expression on their face.

Joining the Star Shattering Sect would be the best thing the Ascendant Frost Hall would experience since its first ever Nascent Soul Realm Expert appeared in the past!

No matter what, they must do their absolute best to join the Star Shattering Sect!

Whoosh~

Not spending too much time on the Ninth Star Peak, Xuan Hao and the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall travelled through the recently constructed path going from the Ninth Star Peak to the Seventh Star Peak where the main sect of the Star Shattering Sect was located.

…

”So… This is the Star Shattering Sect…?” Unconsciously muttering this to himself when he witnessed the Star Shattering Sect slowly appearing in front of him, Elder Cui, the oldest person among the two elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall, felt like he finally understood the difference between a sect with a Nascent Soul Realm backing and one with a Domain Lord Realm Expert.

Not only could he feel a terrifying aura from the centre of the sect in front of him that far surpassed the Nascent Soul Realm, but he could also sense several different experts in the Nascent Soul Realm far stronger than him sparring not too far away from the entrance of the sect itself.

”Elder Cui…”

”Calm down for now, let’s follow the elder from the Star Shattering Sect and see just how strong a sect with more than one Domain Lord Realm Expert inside it is!”

Hearing his fellow elder nervously calling out to him, Elder Cui put on a strong front saying this through his divine sense, while deep down, he was extremely nervous about entering the Star Shattering Sect…
